It was about time Psynomi started the day. She had slept in long enough and now it was time to do up some daily chores. Never before had she been so busy in her life and even more so after the incident! With a quick yawn and stretch, she was ready to go. She peeped her head out of the thicket that she called her home and looked around for a brief moment. It was utterly quiet with the occasional chirping of some birds overhead within the canopy of the small wood. She had found this very, very small forest some time ago and decided to declare it as her little home as it made perfect shelter. With another quick scan with alert ears and eyes, she decided that there wasn’t any threat and leaped out from underneath the shades of the trees.
It was a beautiful day. The bright, glowing sun hovered overhead and the skies were clear of any clouds. There was also a gentle breeze that danced through the leaves and tickled the grass. But it wasn’t a day for rest or play for the young lioness. In fact, there was much work to be done. Psynomi stretched out her haunches again before padding off. She needed to check her little territory and make sure no intruders were around. Plus, she needed to go for a hunt as she was a tad bit hungry and plus get a drink. That, and she also needed to clean out her thicket sometime soon. There was a faint smirk on her face as she padded through the long grass with a little hum echoing out from her vocals.
