The sadness was still there, but it seemed to matter a little less. His friends had rallied around him. It was truth that sometimes friends could be your real family when the one you were born to fails. Tynan had let Attor break down like he needed to. Clover had comforted him and given him a new companion in the little snake Amduat. There were others too that he hadn't even thought of as being close to him that had offered a hand. Between all this and knowing he didn't have to worry about where he would have to go during the summer.
Attor sat in a chair of the common room waiting to see if he would spot Tynan. He wanted to show his best friend the gift Clover had gotten for him. Plus it had been a few days since he had gotten to spend some quality time with his best mate.
Amduat slithered happily through his fingers enjoying the warmth coming from them. Occasionally he would stop and look around as people passed through the common room it was clear he liked Attor but was a little nervous around other people.

Ty had been in his room working on things. It was one of the few places he could really get some peace most of the time so he liked to be there more then any place else. Library was his favorite spot but there were a lot of hufflepuffs in there...and he had wanted in that house more then anything...but that wasn't happening so he would have to live with out. He hat Attor...though he hadn't seen his friend in a while. He wanted to go find a book he needed in the library real fast so he hurried from his room and down into the common room and samile a little.
Attor.
He pushed his growing hair back and smiled as he walked over. "Hey you where have you been recently? Its been a while." he said sitting next to Attor and smiling a little.

Attor smiled to see his friend Tynan, he always felt better when he was around. "Spent a little time with Clover and got cornered by the first year Rory. Otherwise just trying to get some alone time or get school work done. I was hoping you might have time to hang a bit today though. Oh look." Attor said holding up Amduat. "Clover got him for me." The little snake seems to shy deeper into Attor's hands. "He is a bit nervous....but I bet with some more handling and care he will be more friendly." Attor said sounding confident although he wasn't used to owning smaller snakes really.
