((In response to THIS SIGNUP. )) Melvin had to smile at the strange last name of the next person on his list. Deryk Bond. Unknown cousin to James Bond. If the guy came to the door in a suit, Melvin would loose it. Giving a Bond a rose would probably work though. It could be his deadly corsage before he gunned a man down.
This amusing little thought lingered in the back of Melvin's mind, helping him in a task he otherwise didn't want to do. Finding the man's room had been tricking, but after a bit of asking around, he found the room and knocked on it, waiting for an answer.

Wandering on through the halls of the dorm, Deryk was checking to see if there had been any repairs. As he neared his place, he noticed an unfamiliar hunter standing outside of his door. Furthermore... he saw him knocking at it.
"Oh. Uh. Hi?" he greeted a little slowly.

Melvin turned when a man walked up to him, and he looked to the door and back at him. "Um....is this your room?" He asked. It wouldn't be the first time someone changed their address. He had two other people who had changed room numbers.

"Was. Not sure if its been fixed. Last checked, was practically a crater in the ground," Deryk frowned.
"Er... Need something?"
Assuming this guy was looking for him and not someone else. Or something else.

Melvin shuffled with the metal tube and clipboard a moment. "Are you... Deryk Bond?" He said, looking up.

Deryk blinked at that. A rose? The Death hunter took it slowly while furrowing his brow in confusion. "Secret.. Admirer..?" he repeated. Him? A secret admirer? "Y-you sure this is for me?"

Melvin was glad this man was in disbelief rather than being outright suspicious or upset with him. It was better than the other people he had delivered to. "Yeah, I decided to walk all the way here, find a stranger's room, knock on it over and over, and then pulled your name randomly off the top of my head." Come on. Not unless this guy thought he really was Mr. Bond and that Melvin was hitting on him. "Trust me. It's for you."

This was a little more than strange. Deryk was having a little trouble believing that he had a secret admirer. Someone... actually liked him like that? It didn't really seem all that possible. "N-no.. there has to be some sort of mistake. No one here would..."

Melvin nearly rubbed his temple, but his hands were otherwise occupied holding a rose he knew better to bring anywhere near his skin. Instead, he just looked at the man with a Are you kidding me expression.
"Look. I don't have time for you to get flustered and shy. Be a man and be happy someone thinks you're hot. Now can you take this?" Really? It was almost as bad as people hating him for showing up when they just didn't take the rose. Self-esteem seemed to be lacking a bit with this guy.
Melvin shook the rose a bit as if trying to get a dog to take it from his hands.

Deryk cringed a bit at that. Furrowing his brow, he went ahead and slowly took the rose, looking it over for a moment or so. He still couldn't really think of who would send him something like this.

FINALLY! Melvin adjusting the clipboard and metallic tube in his arms before looking over at Deryk. "Look. This isn't my place, but really. Have some confidence in that you don't look like you were beaten with an ugly stick. Okay?" It was as much as a macho compliment that Melvin could muster. They guy wasn't ugly. "You probably have the best last name to pick up women, by the way."

"Eh... r-right.."Looks or his last name hadn't really done anything for him in the past so he wasn't putting too much stock in that bit of advice. "This all you needed then, yes?" Deryk asked.
