 It has been weeks since she broke up with Tenma. She honestly thought he was going to be the one she stayed with. She was so happy with him. Then it happened. His first love came back. With a heavy heart Aruna left. She did her part in his life and it was time she moved on. But it was difficult. She laid in her cave. She was far from her dessert home. Which she left when she became an adult to be with Tenma. Perhaps she was foolish for rushing. What made her worse was that she stilled missed him.

 Saito continued walking through the area with the small orange tuft on his back, he still had no idea what to do with the little guy, Lora had supposedly wanted to adopt him with saito then they broke up. his ears perked back and he looked back at the little kit. who he was surprised to see was awake staring at him with bright orange red eyes.  Sora stared at the male, he didnt necessarily call him a father, more like a older brother/best friend. Saito made sure he was fed,and had a roof over his head, but the kit knew the male was still crushed by the things that occurred almost 8 months ago. He didn't bring them up though knowing that he wouldn't be able to do anything to help the adult.Eventually he noticed a red figure in the distance."Hey Saito theres someone up ahead"The male looked ahead and saw a cave with a red fox."yeah your right." he muttered and sighed realizing he'd have to pass the cave to get where he was headed. as he came closer he felt the mood around her, almost as if there was a black aura around her. no wait there definitely was one. it seemed familiar though."hey, miss are you okay?"

Aruna looked up to see a male with a kit. She blinked. Her cheeks were tear stained but maybe the others wouldn't noticed. There was a long silence before she said anything "...Fine." Lies. But she didn't want to dump her problems on someone she didn't really know. But there was a familiar scent to him. But the kit was completely off to her. He didn't look like the other, nor did they share similar scents. Aruna huddled more into her cave. She didn't like being exposed at her weak moments.

Saito stared at the female as she backed up."are you sure?" he asked cocking his head walking a bit closer,
the kit jumped off the males back, and walked up to the female."she looks sad Saito." he stated bluntly, you got that piece of cloth In your bag that your mom gave you?
Saito blinked and nodded,pulling his bag off of his leg, opening it up.

Aruna still pressed back as the other came closer. "I'm sure... I'm fine. Really..." Her ears flicked back and pressed against her head. She wasn't frightened or intimidated by them. She just wanted to be alone. Though she had a feeling these two were the types that were hard to get rif of when the 'I Care' switch was turned on.

Saito, handed her a handkerchief from his pouch,"here you can wipe the tears off your face at least." he said calmly."sora lets get going." he said scooping the kit back onto his back."we gotta find a place to crash for the night."
Sora squeaked as saito picked him up."okay okay fine." he looked at the female and grinned."I hope everything works out miss."

Damn it... They had noticed. She watched as they started to walk away then picked up the hankie. As she was about to wipe her face she noticed a very familiar scent. Her moms. Aruna was now confused. She got up and padded after them. "H-hey... Uh... That hankie. Where did you get it?" Her tail flicked awkwardly. Did these guys know her mom?

Saito raised an eyebrow at the female."My mother gave it to me." he stated calmly when she asked, after bolting up to him.the hankie is something that belonged to his mother after she had gotten it a whileback when her and his father were reunited.
Sora was taken by surprise and fell off saitos back falling into a pile of leaves

"For any chance... Does your mom know a Daeva by the name of Sayre?" She had to know who this person was and what connections he had with his mom. Aruna glanced at the kit who fell over and gently picked him up by the scruff of the neck and placed him on the others back. Then stepped away from them and awaited an answer.

Sora shook around getting leaves off his fur after she placed him back on saitos back.
Saito looked at the female."yes In fact Shes helped take care of me and my siblings several times."He also beleived his dad talked about being her partner for some time but he really didnt show much interest in the stories. just like he didnt towards his mothers stories about the war when she was little.

"I see... You don't look much like your parents." She looked him over. He really didn't look much like them. The only think that really made her believe was the pack and bandages. "Well here is your hankie back." She handed it back "I told you I was fine, so I really don't need it." With that she turned her back and and headed toward her cave. Part of her had a feeling the male would stop her before she got too far.

"I'm not much of a talker." She stopped and looked back at the male. "Plus, My problems shouldn't concern you." She sighed. Obviously the male wanted to talk. "Fine. Let's just go somewhere more comfortable to talk." She kept walking, somewhat hoping that he was following. She had a little spot near the river where she liked to sit.
As she walked she might as well answer another one of his questions. "Sayre is my mother. She was friends with your parent's." Her tail flicked a bit. "I'm Aruna. I'm sure we've met as kits."

Saito nodded and began to follow her, Sora still resting on his back. when she explained who she was though he stopped for a second and thought hard trying to remember his childhood."Yeah I think I remember you." he stated calmly nodding. I'll admit though a forest is the last place Id expect to run into you though.

"It's a story I don't feel like telling." True her family has lived in the dessert for a while, but it seems as the kids migrated from it. Aruna found her spot by the river. There was a large willow there. Aruna picked up her pace and lept into the tree. There was a trunk up there, well hidden from the rest of the world. She opened it up and tossed down three pillows.
