"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Lyndis had never been a shy girl of any sort, one of the few traits that had been inherited by her mother. After all, her looks certaintly reflected that of her father's, from the shade of skin and hair to the smile she would always boast proudly, leaving only her personality to be affected by the carefree attitude of her mother; yet, while she was one of the few girls in the school who wasn't afraid to state an opinion, her thoughts were currently muddled, leaving her in a rather unusually quiet mood. Lately, she'd begun to wonder more about how boys thought, and less about how gross they could be. In fact, she would now willing call a few of them her friends, though she was curious as to how she was supposed to address the ones she considered to be especially sweet or cute. Of course, with lunch beginning the next period, she would have to find Yvette. The young brunette girl had always known much more about that type of thing, and so she was sure to give helpful advice.
Hearing the bell ring, the half-lycan quickly stuffed her notebook and pencil into her bag, planning on being just fast enough to get outside before a crowd formed to clog up the door. She was lucky, as she did manage to slip outside without a problem, but it seemed as if one was meant to happen anyways. As she turned the corner, her arm slammed into another student, who was quick to steady both himself and her. She apologized before looking up to identify the boy, and found that perhaps she had a shred of luck after all. While bumping into one's crush could be seen as an embaressing thing, Lyndis was just glad that she had said sorry before recognizing him; had she not, she would be unable to do so now. God! She needed to get to Yvette now! After being flashed a brief smile, she hurredly made her way towards the cafeteria.

Yvette grabbed Lyndis' hand and pulled her up right in front of the boy. "Are you both okay?" She asked with a smile. "Well excuse us." Yvette commented as she pulled Lyn away. It wasn't long till they were joined by Abbadon. "Hey." He responded as he pushed his shaggy blue hair back. "What class do you have next hour, I have magic fundamentals with Donny. Then again why in the world do we always end up in the same class?" Yvette commented. The young man moved his shoulders up and down. The boy watched as Elendil and Eowyn walked right by them talking about something. Yvette turned to her friend. "What has been going on with you?" She asked her friend.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Looking up to see Yvette, she quickly regained her bearings, a faint smile appearing as she nodded to affirm that she was fine. With the boy gone, she found that she was able to speak again, but made sure not to push it too far, and chose to give a short answer to matter of her next class. "The same." She flashed the two a smile, glad to be sharing at least one class with them. Besides, they were both much better at magic than she was already, so perhaps they would be able to give her a few pointers should she struggle with the subject. While brushing aside a few strands of hair, she gave a short nod to Eowyn, though she could tell that her cousin's attention was preoccupied by sonething else. Mentalk shrugging off the wonder, she gave her attention back to her friend as she questioned. "Nothing, um, major...you know. Just been thinking." She grinned, adjusting a strap on her backpack as she tried to keep her wandering thoughts aside. Unfortunately for her, the only person she trusted enough to help her was already at her side, whih meant that it would need to come out eventually. "About the welcome back dance, mainly."

Yvette hung her head in disappointment. She wasn't sure if she wanted to go at the moment to the dance. "It's going to lame with our parents picking us up. So uncool." She commented. Then again is it was only one parent then the down side could be better. "Lyn it has to be your dad or my mom. Otherwise we'll look like losers. You're mom isn't famous, by dad lives too far away, and Donny's..." The girl looked as the boy was eyeing a cookie from a far. "well... They're weird." The girl finally answered. Then again she could see if Cam was free that day and maybe bring Ced with him or maybe beg Haiki into it. "So what about the dance are you thinking about?" Donny asked his friend.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Unsurprised by her friend's demands, she simply nodded. Her mother would probably be away on some assignment anyways, and she wasn't sure if she wanted her step-mother to get too involved about the topic. Cynthia had a tendacy to get a bit over worried about such things. "I vote for having your mom drive us." Otherwise, her father may agree, but only because it would actually be Peaches driving. Plus, if it was Ms. Kent, there might be a chance that she could say a hello to Cam. As for Donny's parents, she couldn't argue much; the whole family was oddly perky yet still dark...basically, too much like her own home. Letting the matter drop, she looked to her feet in embaressment as she heard the next question given to her. "I'm thinking about how fun it'll be." It was only a half truth, and she knew that her expression would betray how she thought anyways, so she quickly mumbled, "And I was thinking about asking a guy to go with me."

Yvette nodded. It was her mom then. It would be a lot better once they got into Reed's. They could all just live on campus and didn't have to worry about their parents. The girl was about to comment that she hoped it was fun because it was their first dance, but her friend had to comment about a guy. "A guy? You mean other than Donny?" Yvette gasped out. "Who?" She wanted to hear all the gossip her friend had to day about the boy that she seemed to like.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Despite her friend's reaction, Lyndis was able to respond, pleased that her skin coloring would help to cover the blush rising to her cheeks. "Yes, a real guy." She was unsure of what exactly to think, but she was hoping that Yvette and Donny might be able to help her with her feelings. "Uh, the one I bumped into. Steven." She'd kept her voice down, as the last thing she wanted was for some passerby to hear and tell someone else. Of course, with the identity cleared, she was almost just as excited to talk about this boy, so long as it was just these two around her. Steven was in two of her classes, but she only sat near him in one. In fact, she sat just behind him, which meant that his hair was very distracting while she tried to focus on history. "He's in my grade and I think he's so cute~"

Yvette pulled her friend away from most of the children and into a corner. She did want other people to start making rumors about her friend. Someone had already started one about her. Donny followed behind the two. No one was going to argue. He was good at keeping secrets and he was also their friend. They were the three musketeers and they never left one of their own alone. "When? Why?" She asked her friend for more details then what she had been given.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Staying beside Yvette as she moved, Lyndis did her best to give a suitable answer to the questions she was asked. "I don't really know when. It just sort of happened over the last year." She'd had a class with him before, during which they would talk occasionally. "But he's so sweet and funny." She shrugged after another moment, unable to add anything else. It wasn't as if he was someone truly special, but she thought it odd to have a different feeling towards him that didn't apply to the other boys she knew.

Yvette gave her friend the look of a proud mother. Her little friend was growing up. If she was that type of person she would have said something along the lines of 'my little girl is growing up'. "You should totally ask him. What is the worst that could happen? Get rejected? Even if that happens you'll still have us." Yvette commented. She hadn't been so bold to ask anyone out yet, but to her it was always her friends she was with.

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." After considering her friend's advice, she nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I will." After all, it's not like anyone else would know, and even if they did, she knew that Yvette and Abbadon would never leave her. With the decision made, she towed the two along the hallway, figuring that it would best if they went to get their lunch before the lines grew too long. Smiling gaintly in her good mood, she asked her friends, "What about you guys~?" She was interested in their own plans for the dance. Would they be asking anyway to go? She figured that Yvette at least would have a choice. She was a model and had a wonderful voice, qualities that seemed to make most guys interested in her attention. Abbadon, too, was handsome, and everyone knew that he would probably be a great warlock some day. Plus, Lyndis was sure that the dance would be more fun if they all had dates.

Yvette followed with her friend as it seemed that she was hungry and it was probably a good idea if they wanted to get their meals on time. "I'm going to ask Will again. Maybe this time he'd finally say yes." Then again the boy had run away everything she asked he seemed to make up a reason why he couldn't. "But I'll probably end up with Donny again. That is unless someone ask me to go with them." Yvette answered. Donny thought about what he was going to do before he answered. "I'm not going to ask anyone. There's no one I want to go with besides you guys."

"Hi, I'm Lyndis Suncaliu." Will would be an interesting match for Yvette, despite the fact that he never seemed interesed. Well, she supposed that might change, or else it seemed that there was a steady back up. It seemed that Donny didn't object to the idea, though she wondered if there wasn't some girl that he might otherwise be interested in. Still, his statement caused her to smile as she gave a nod in agreement. They were good friends, and she hoped that it would remain that way even once they got to Reed's. "Of course. We're a great trio." Once they reached the line, she retrieved a tray, her eyes moving across the food as she chose her meal.

Yvette grabbed her tray as did Donny. Yvette right away went for a chicken salad and Donny for the pizza. They then stacked up on fruits and veg's. This time the young male didn't bother to go for a sweet, knowing that his friends would slap his hand away. "Nothing can break up our friendship. Not even an alien invasion."
