The Horseman Name: Shaheen
Nicknames: None so far, maybe through RP
Gender: Female
Age: -- N/A
Original Clan: War
Job Role: Chieftain
Personality: Confidence: To say that Shaheen is confident would be an understatement. This once warrior now chieftain seems to exude confidence everywhere she goes. And why shouldn't she? She's always known that she is strong, she know's that she is a fierce warrior and that she can get any job done in a swift and efficient manner. And beyond that, she knows that she is good, really damn good, at just about every damn thing that she does.
She rose up high in the ranks quickly, proving herself time and time again in the heat of battle. She showed her resourcefulness, her speed, her raw power, and her ability to not only wield short range weaponry but long range as well. Some might have called her gifted, or a natural, but she knew the truth of it. Hard work and determination combined with hours upon hours of steady training was the key, and was what sculpted her into the fine figure of a horsewoman that she was. It really didn't take long before she was getting noticed and receiving praise from the chieftains, collecting trophies for her many achievements, and even she might have been a little surprised by just how quickly she rose up to eventually become a chieftain herself. Throughout all of this, she always kept her confidence levels high, leaving no room for any self doubt or petty insecurities. Those were the types of things that would just bring her down, and there was no way she was going anywhere but up.
Quick Thinking: Well, not so much quick thinking as not really thinking at all. Shaheen likes to act on pure instinct, giving very little thought to what the consequences of her actions might be. This is likely due to the fact that from a very young age she always wanted to stand out, she craved attention, and had a desperate need to have everyone take notice of her. To do that, she had to take risks where others would not. This somehow seems to work out quite well for her, most of the time. Perhaps this is all just due to dumb luck, or maybe, just maybe, she does have some incredibly keen intuition that guides her towards the right choices.
This isn't to say that things will always go right for her, and indeed, when they go wrong the results seem to be disastrous.
What did you say?: Shaheen is not, by any means, the most intelligent of horsemen. Quick witted? Yes, but that does not always equal intelligence. So, perhaps that is the reason for this one small quirk of hers. When somebody asks her for advice, or poses her with any question that she does not know the answer too, for that matter, she will often answer with a metaphor. Generally she keeps it related to flight or birds though she might throw something completely random in there from time to time if the occasion calls for it. She is deluded into thinking that doing this will make her sound smarter then she actually is, and in the event of advice giving, generally means that people will take her words to come up with their own solutions, believing that she has helped them out immensely.
Show no weakness: Shaheen hates weakness, in herself, or in others. She is adamant that even if she were on the verge of dissipation, nobody is to see her for how weak she might feel. She will make herself appear strong to her last breath, hold her head high, and fight with everything that she has.
No room for love: Since Shaheen worked so very hard on making herself the best that she could possibly be, and since she was so determined to reach for the heights that might have been unobtainable to others, she had given herself a strict rule early on. No love. She didn't have time for it, and it would only compromise her dreams, or so she always believed. She had friends, yes, and maybe the odd innocent flirtation, but it never led to anything more, ever. She was married to her work, married to the dagger in her hand and the battlefield laid out before her. Everything else was secondary.
Insanity and all of it's wonder: Yes, Shaheen has, unfortunately, been infected with insanity. It is hard to say in these early stages how this will effect her entire personality. Right now her sheer volume of confidence is acting like a safety blanket for her. She does not have many insecurities for the insanity to grab ahold of and this may work to her advantage. She doesn't try to hide the grey markings on her face or streaking her hair, because she feels that if she hides it that she is showing that it is something to be ashamed of, something that makes her weak, and she will not stand for that. However, she was only very newly risen to Chieftain, so lacks the proper experience in leadership that would have come over time. The insanity may take an integral role in how she reacts to the new challenges surrounding her, as a chieftain and as member of what is now called 'the lost clans'.
