Ahh the great out doors! Zev, cantered along a dirt path, surrounded by tall grasses on both sides. He was happy to be free for the moment, his last adventure had been a bit of a... well it had a little something he wasn't sure he wanted to keep. The stallion had aided a young mare in a bit of a pickle and then found out she decided she wanted to stick around a little longer than he was willing to stand. She was pretty enough but kept trying to integrate herself to him in such ways that she was thinking children and that so did not fit his style. It had taken a dangerous route between two aggressive kalona to shake her off. He was sure that the pair were too busy fighting between each other to notice the presence of a delectable mare and if she pushed her way between them it was her own fault. The striped stallion continued his journey unhindered and looked towards his next adventure.

Along that same route strolled another stallion, although this male was not trying to outrun any past mares. His step was casual, and the grass helped to hush the sounds of his presence. Although he was too easy to spot, a mass of deep browns and black almost gliding above the thin fingers of the lush grass. Glowing eyes peered out from beneath his mane as he searched the terrain. He hadn't eaten since midday yesterday, and now he was more guided by his hunger than any actual path. Ahead of him, he could just make out the shape of lush trees in the distance. From here, they did not look to be the types with pines and cones, so he marched on with hopes that they beared fruit under their green leaves.

Zev had just reached a corpse of trees and was considering a late breakfast, or maybe an early lunch, when he noticed another stallion heading his way. At first he thought to slink back a little to observe before actually introducing himself but shaking out his main, Zev chose to introduce his presence. The stallion did not look aggressive from this distance and also kinda familiar to the herds who used to travel on occasion with his own herd being wanderers much like himself. Grabbing a branch of the tree, the leaves looking especially luscious, he tore it off and tossed it down as a peace offering. "Come here often?" Waggling his eyebrows he turned and snagged a branch for himself and started munching.

Nith perked an ear as he noticed a shape moving around among the grass and leaves. It was the familiar motions of another Soquili, and there wasn't a scent of wolf or bear in the air. Feeling confident in his instinct, Nith continues on his path undeterred as the other stallion shuffled about. His body language seemed social enough, and there was no tension as the space between them grew smaller. At last, Nith was within earshot of the other fellow, and he quirked a brow as he noticed it was also meal time for this striped stranger. That is, until the male tossed it in his direction, and Nith relished in the smell of its fresh leaves as it fell near his hooves.
"Not at all, these lands are completely new to me. Is it the same story for you?"
