Do any of you have a beta access? I figure some of you are pretty good, might have got an invite, but in any case there's lots of footage going around now between streams and vods and what have you.

So what have you noticed? What are you the most excited for? Build and metagame predictions etc?

whats up with that warhound push? I've heard from a few people that it's retarded, is it just a ******** up timing thing that needs to be adjusted or is the warhound just that strong?

iut was that strong, but now it seems managable thanks to the [patch,.. but my swarm host got a nerf too... but still good

yeah

same role as marauder, no abilities to micro, just a boring 1+a unit that was too OP vs protoss / hard to balance / had a dumb role

I woulda suggested getting rid of the Maruader then. With it and the Marine available so early in the game there's almost no need for Terran to tech to other unit compositions, I feel. It's a crutch and will always be one as long as Blizzard allows bio to be so viable and easily massed. Until the issue with bio is rectified matchups against Terran will always be repetitive and predictable and lead to more Terran QQ of them being UP.

yeah i don't know how OP bio truly is these days... i think it's more just that mech isn't viable and mech needs something to encourage people to use it. as it is, you can never mech in tvp, and nerfing marauders wouldn't make it any more viable.

Oh, I'm not saying anything is OP or UP. Just stating that Terran thinks they're UP when really their game is just extremely predictable because bio is, as you say, the only thing that's really viable. So I think they should shitcan the Maruader (since it shouldn't benefit from Stim anyway) and replace it with the Warhound as a mech alternative but tweak the stats so it doesn't wreck everything like before. The Marine will still be viable throughout the game and there's an incentive to tech to mech.

And I feel obligated to mention that in SC1/BW no Terran would dare go bio in a TvP matchup.
