Mitsu still hadn't been keen about leaving her room. The security it provided her was like a blanket but that illusion was often shattered at the mention of going out. Instantly she would get distressed, panicking to the point she couldn't move properly. She could tell Shun wasn't pleased but so far he had allowed her to stay here which eased her mind enough despite the lingering promise of taking her to the festival.

As far as visitors went Mitsu really hadn't had any. She was almost afraid to face her friends at this point wondering what they would think of her. Missing them just made it hard to keep them away. She was worried about everyone who walked among the random and new students wondering if there were making friends or really making themselves a target like she had.

For now things were quiet at least, Shun had just exited to the bathroom to take a shower and Mitsu laid across her bed on her stomach, a hand fiddling with her short cut hair and running along her human ears. She had somewhat adjusted to having them, they didn't stick out as much as her normal ears did.

Mitsu heard the knock and initially looked alarmed, her eyes darting to the bathroom where Shun was currently taking a shower. Her first thought was to run to him, perhaps curl up in the shower with him and hide. She had started to get up ready to do just that when the voice followed. Something familiar from a face she hadn't seen in a long while.

Her expression was suddenly torn. She ached to see her friends again having missed them being gone so long but she was nervous, terrified even to open the door. It could easily be a trap. The person on the other side might not even be who she hoped it would be.

Should she get Shun? Her eyes darted to the bathroom again. Maybe it would be best not to get him worked up. He had been having a hard time but..what was she to do?

Arms hugging herself tightly Mitsu eased herself off the bed and inched her way to the door. The smallest sound made her jump but she continued on her trek until she was finally there. She regarded the door for a moment after that, not sure if she really wanted to open it. It was the last barrier she had.

Slowly her hand reached for the door knob, turned it, and eased the door back. The door opened just a crack, only enough so that Lizzy would be able to see a large crimson eye peeking out toward her, Mitsu ready to slam the door shut with the least amount of provocation.

Mitsu shifted rather uncomfortably behind the door, her eye focused on the pink haired demoness. She was wary to push the door open any further and didn't reply to her question but instead gave a light nod.

When she saw movement coming from below Mitsu was quick like a bunny, the door was shut but not after she heard the little bit about being able to eat what was inside. She wasn't sure what had been offered....but it more than likely was food...not a weapon.

Pressing her pointer fingers together nervously Mitsu tried to decide what to do, pacing a little in her spot. She had just closed the door on her friend. At least she hoped it was her friend. It looked like her friend....but Shun said that Candace had looked like her. A golem in disguise. The thought was unnerving but maybe there was a way to tell. A golem wouldn't have Lizzy's memories right?

Quickly Mitsu scrambled from the door and grabbed some paper and a pencil and began to write. If Lizzy was still beyond the door she would eventually find a piece of paper sliding out underneath it toward her. Once she opened the hastily folded note she would find a question. 'Can you tell me what advice you gave me when I first told you I liked Shun?'

Mitsu seemed satisfied with the answer because the door quickly swung open and Lizzy would find herself being pulled inside her room with haste. It was a quick motion to bring the spider demon passed the door before slamming it closed and locking it for good measure. There Mitsu stood a moment, her hands pressed against the door just to make sure nothing else was going to try to make its way through.

When she was certain they were safe she finally turned toward Lizzy now conscious that she had not worn anything to hide her head. Her clothes were very covering now unlike before. Long sleeves for her arms and jeans for her legs. The short cut hair was a little harder to hide and she began to fidget in place shifting a little nervously as she stared at the floor between their feet. She at least offered a small wave as a greeting since she verbally couldn't do so.

Her eyes coming up from the floor Mitsu stared at the box in Lizzy's hand for a moment before tentatively reaching out for it. She took it gently, her fingers touching the box lightly before she mouthed a silent 'Thank you'.

Still a bit nervous she gazed around the room before she motioned to the couch so that Lizzy could sit down. While the spider demon made herself comfortable Mitsu made her way to her bookshelf and set the box of chocolates down for now and took up a notebook and a pencil instead. Once her supplies were in hand she made her way to the couch as well taking a seat in one of the corners and comfortably wedging herself between the pillows.

Her hand came up to touch her hair lightly, still not used to the feeling of it. It was untidy even for being so short. Mitsu was probably going to have some awkward hair stages to go through.

Her gaze hesitantly looking toward Lizzy again Mitsu finally flipped her notebook open to a blank page and began to write. It was a slow process but it looked like she was trying extra hard to make sure her writing was legible. When she was done Mitsu passed the notebook over to the spider demon.

'It's good to see you.' Was what Lizzy would find at the top of the page.

Taking the notebook back Mitsu stared at the page for a long moment not really sure how to reply. Really and truthfully she was having a hard time. She felt insecure and scared and Shun just didn't understand. He wanted her to face her fear but all she wanted to do was bury it. It was like he couldn't wrap his mind around the idea that she had gone through something terrible. She knew he was beating himself up over what happened and he wanted her to get better and be okay...but she wasn't. The only thing she had to give him was this pretend reality that she was getting better.

Carefully she started to write something but it turned into a scribble. It was hard to read but it looked like 'I don't know' which had been scribbled out and next to it was written 'I'm fine.' Under neath that Mitsu had continued to write. 'How are the others?' She hadn't seen anyone aside from Shun and now Lizzy. Mitsu wasn't entirely sure if anyone else was upset or how anyone was doing. Maybe it had been for the best that the pretend Mitsu had been here. At least no one had to worry through all that time. No one had to take unnecessary risks. They were able to move on like everything was normal.

With the notebook back in hand Mitsu regarded Lizzy sheepishly. Tell her anything? Mitsu wasn't entirely sure it would help. She was still having trouble telling Shun some of the things that had happened but her main concern now was Shun himself.

Listening to the news about the others Mitsu nodded slightly. So no one really had known the golem hadn't been her. It was a little frightening to think how easily the hunters could work their way into their school unnoticed. What else were they capable of? Again she looked to Lizzy sheepishly before her eyes turned down to her notebook her hand running across her short cut hair. She was pretty sure she didn't like it. Maybe if she had made the choice to get her hair cut it would have been different but...they had shaved her head..

Hesitantly she began to write again only pausing here and there as if contemplating how she wanted to word something. At times she seemed to struggle with how much she really wanted to put down but continued on before passing the notebook over to Lizzy.

'I never got to see the other students while I was there. They kept me to myself. I didn't know anyone had come. I'm sorry to have made the others worried.

Its been a lot to absorb knowing someone had been here in my place and everything that happened. Shun keeps pushing me to feel better and blames himself when I don't. I'm not sure how to respond or what to do.'

Mitsu had gotten that message from Shun loud and clear. He blamed himself big time for what happened when it had actually been her own fault. She thought she had been helping a friend and in the end had walked into a trap despite the warning signs.

Bringing up the notebook again she began to write slowly, her head tilting up toward the bathroom every once in a while to hear the shower still running. Mitsu was somewhat glad this conversation was written down. She wasn't sure Shun would be pleased to be talked about even if she wasn't saying anything bad. Was there such a thing as too much devotion?

It was at least nice to have someone to get advice from, Mitsu always appreciated the things Lizzy had to say. She knew the ghoul would never steer her wrong.

'I tried to explain but he contributes it to his failure. He wants to do so much for me but I don't even know what would help. I even explained that it had been my fault but while he heard me I don't think he listened. He's been very down about it so the best solution I came up with was to pretend.'
