A lively city, booming with energy. The streets are all concrete with beautiful clear water streams running throughout the city. A gorgeous courtyard lies at the middle of the city, in the center is a massive water fountain with a statue of Latios & Latias.

Chrome walked into the City with Pup at his heels, briefly stopping to look around once he moved on after seeing nothing of interest to him.

"Well, Pup it seems that those delightful Trainers we saw earlier will be here soon...want to see how long it takes to make one of them go red?" he asked, knowing the young Houndour had no idea what he was inferring to chuckling he smiled, "You'll see soon..."

He glanced to the youth with the odd accessory, "Must be from Unova...such odd style there honestly..."

His hand ghosted over his right eye, stifling a growl at the bitter memory Chrome searched for the nearest Pokemon Market to gather supplies.

Chrome froze, did that height-challanged moron say what he think he said...

"Was that directed at me?" he asked loudly with as much politeness as he could.

Pup looked around his legs to the other human and spotted the Ralts, "Hound..."

Chrome was going try to be nice after all it was first impressions and such. Glancing down to Pup he remembered their earlier fight, a battle was not wanted now as he had no way to heal his already weakened Pokemon.

Chrome relaxed and neatly folded his arms, "At least I know I can pull this off...besides Pirates are more respected than little dogs..."

He turned and walked off before reaching the Pokemon Mart he looked over his shoulder, "You're not worth my effort to even challenge..."

Chrome walked into the Mart without another word. Pup was picked up the moment the two entered and Chrome went to searching for items he would need. Checking the money he managed to pickpocket from Willocove Village and from the City folk he passed by he smiled, "Still got that ole' magic touch..."

Picking up ten PokeBalls and nine Potions the young man waited by the window checking to see if that...child was still outside.

Chrome sprayed one Potion on Pup to refresh his partner, placing the small Houndour down he nodded before walking outside.

"It appears you do not listen to reason...very well then. Pup! Ember!" Chrome called, wasting no time in announcing his clear discontent at the other male. Pup gathered flames to its mouth before unleashing them in a fire ball towards the small Pokemon. If Chrome was lucky then the Ralts would get a burn causing this fight to go so much faster...if not then Chrome was sure Pup would surprise him with something...

Chrome's tone darkened considerably, "I despise Ghost moves..."

Seeing the attack land the taller male jolted, "Pup-!"

Chrome eyes widened as he saw flames still trickling at Pup's mouth, "It can't be...what were his parents?"

The tough little Houndour unleashed a Fire Fang upon the upclose Ralts, snapping its jaws before throwing the Psychic Type away from it. Turning with flames still present Pup growled low, "Houndour."

Chrome straightened he knew when to accept defeat moving his hand so that he palm was face down he locked eyes with the fallen Houndour, "Stay down, Pup."

His command was firm and the small Houndour knew the promise those eyes held, Pup remained down panting from the blow to his mid-area letting out a soft whine "Houn..."

Chrome's dark eye looked up to the Rival...yes, rival. Chrome had never considered anyone that, but here was one worthy of it...a rival. A refreshing concept that Chrome would rid himself of one way or another. "Congratulations...you have defeat a Pokemon of higher experience than your own. Do take care of your rare little Ralts now, hmm?"

Chrome walked forward and picked up Pup, mindful of the smaller's obvious wounds, "If you'll excuse me...there's a Pokemon Center I have a need to visit..."

Chrome walked away, a small dark fire igniting within himself. Pup needed more training that was for sure, he may have learned a few things from this lost as every living being learned from loss. Chrome would have to make a call to one of his elder siblings who knew how to train a Houndour. Perhaps his brother in Johto...he had three Houndoom's that assisted him in heists.

Chrome mentally sighed knowing the insuffrable whelp wouldn't leave him alone, "Chrome Delcore...Call me Pirate and I will start to call you Little Dog...or how would you like Kit?"

Chrome walked into the Center smiling in a gentle fashion down at Pup when the small creature gave a weak, "Hou..."

He looked up to the Chansey's that trotted in with their cute little nurse hats and happy faces. Placing Pup on the stretcher they brought out, he also placed Pup's PokeBall next to him, "You'll only be in there for minute and then you'll be right back in my arms...all right, Pup?"

Pup nodded weakly before laying still, blinking as it was taken away. Chrome turned a cold eye to the other male, "I suppose I'll ask...what is your name?"
