User Image Terran bounded along the woods, bored and lonely. He had some fun playing games with that Paleor fellow, and he adored his wonderful, amazing big brother Denji. But neither of them were around now. He vaguely recalled something about finding a basket, or was that... baskets...? But that had been some time ago and he couldn't really remember, and anyway, he had only seen them the once.

Someone had asked him once, who he was when no one was around. He thought that maybe it had been Denji had been the one to ask him that, but he wasn't sure. Huh, maybe his memory was flaky. Why knew. But he wasn't that interested in pursuing that line of thought. All he knew for sure, he was bored. Bored bored bored. Who was around? Why couldn't he find anyone to talk to?

He slipped into a darker grove of trees, where only some few beams of light shone through to the ground, making a study in light and shadow. Wasn't anyone around? He heaved a loud sigh, trying to see if anyone was moving in the shadows.

Lyric walked through the woods bobbing her head to some internal rhythm. A gentle breeze played through her hair and teased her scarf as she walked on. The mare had left her family some time ago and had been walking for days now. She loved her father and her mothers dearly, yet she wanted to get out and see the world! There were so many places to explore and so many people to meet. If she were to ever earn any fame she needed to get out and away from her family.

Which reminded her, she wondered what her brother Zangar was doing about now? It felt ages since she had last seem the stallion. Hadn't they still been foals then? No, she supposed she had seem him at least a little more recently then that. Perhaps she would remind herself to find him. Certainly it was time for the pair to catch up, but first Lyric would need to have something to tell him. An adventure perhaps? Yes! Anything to make her brother envious of her.

Her mind lost deep in thoughts of her family and future fame, Lyric almost didn't notice the little stallion standing not far from her. In fact, if she hadn't happened to look up at that very moment, she might have run right into the little guy. "Oh!" She cried out startled. "I'm sorry I didn't quite see you there."

"Whoa...." Terran whispered, staring up at the taller mare. She was so unbelievably cool! She wore a SCARF! And glasses! Weren't those human things? They were so awesome. He stared up at her with wide bright eyes. She was so cool. So much fun, at least, she looked fun! He could already tell she was going to be one of the most awesome Soqs he had ever met in his whole entire life! He liked her already. "Hi!" he said, perkily. "Who are you?" He wanted to learn about her. More, he wanted to know everything about her that he could. She was too cool!

Lyric blinked down at the stallion below her and studied him for a moment. He certainly seemed friendly enough, not to mention it wasn't as if he posed any real thread to her anyway. Not with being that small anyway. Come to think of it, Lyric couldn't recall having ever seen a soquili that small. Oh she had heard the stories of course. Her father and Acacia had mentioned smaller Soquili before. Usdias she thought they were called. Although this one seemed to have some odd wings on him. Her parents had never mentioned features such as those before. The mare found herself intrigued by the sets of wings, wanting to know more about them and what they were used for. She wondered if he would even let her touch them? Perhaps he would, but it would be rude of her to ask.

Remembering her manners, Lyric responded to the stallion. "I'm Lyric, who might you be?" She responded happily, holding her head high and standing a little taller. Perhaps not everyone knew of her just yet, but soon they would. After all, she planned to be remembered by many if not all.

His eyes widened visibly in awe. "That is such a cool name!" he gushed at her. Then he blinked once, eyes opening right back to the full wide eyed wonder of a much younger soq. "But of course you know that," he said, apologetically. "I mean, you'd kind of have to know that, after all it's your name, right? You've had all your life to see how cool and awesome it is." He considered, then bit his lower lip. An interesting feat for a horse, wings or no. "Sorry," he said sheepishly, though he still stared at her like she was some sort of miracle or something, "I should probably shut up now, huh?"

Lyric grinned down at the stallion. She had a feeling that she was going to like this little guy. Perhaps he would be her first fan? Sure her mother, father, and Acacia were all fans of hers, yet they were family. Wasn't there some unsaid rule that family had to support you and be your fan? Lyric was sure that there must be. Although she wasn't sure her brother had ever abided by that rule. Then again, it was probably also written somewhere that siblings were excluded from that rule.

"Well yes," She started. "I suppose I do know that, but it's always nice to hear it from someone else as well." Lyric grinned at the stallion, happy to have someone to admire her. "And no need to stop talking, I don't mind. In fact, I rather like having the company." She told him.

Terran grinned brightly at her. "I'm happy to be company!" he told her, happily. "Where are we going? I'm good company in forests, and on long walks and along rivers and streams, and I'm willing to be good company for you anywhere else," he said, beaming. Whatever it took to get to stay in her marvelous presence. "What do you like to do?" he asked. He wanted to make sure he wouldn't suggest anything that she wouldn't enjoy.
