The gray stallion finally felt a little little at ease or at least he had been lately. Even though he had 5 rambunctious children to look after, he was handling it a lot better then he thought he would have. Marika was kind enough to give him a family and he was so happy with it. The feeling was so immense the one night he was up all night just thinking about it. He had everything he could have ever wanted and even though it pained him that his sister wasn't there to congratulate him, he was beyond caring about it.
As he walked with Nidawi and Nevin, he felt proud that his children were pretty well behaved for the moment at least. Cai was either out exploring or was with Enitan at the moment. He couldn't remember. He wouldn't have asked for it any other way. Two boys and one girl. As if if the family couldn't get any bigger and apparently it was becoming more and more dominated by stallions, which wasn't a bad thing. It only meant the mare's were more precious.
"Are you both all right? We are going to see your mother. I only hope she is still by the lake." He told his daughter as he walked over to the very same lake where he met Marika for the first time. He knew he could find her there and also wondered what she thought of the children. She was a good mother towards them, but he still feared she eventually wouldn't want them. It has happened before to mothers all over.
"Marika?" He called out in a light whisper looking back to Nidawi then to Nevin. Maybe Enitan followed along with Cai? He wouldn't have been upset about it since they all were a family now. He just hoped they weren't going to be awkward.

Nidawi looked over at her father then to her brother when they neared the lake. She wanted to see her mother more and more, but sometimes she just couldn't seem to find her. Being around so many stallions, she hadn't really had girl time. So she ended up keeping to herself unless her father got nervous and began asking her questions. At least he understood what she was feeling and it didn't mean she was unhappy. She was a happy little foal, she just was particular and a little quiet about it all.
"I hope mother is here as well. She will be happy to see us." She nodded eyeing the lake curiously. She leaned down and took a small drink wondering if her mother came up out of there or if she just wandered around the lake. "Mother?" She called out looking around for any signs of her.
