Yin did not want to do this. He had messed up and he knew it, and there was nothing he could do to fix it. He was working on trying to make sure that nothing like this ever happened again, training with even more vigor than before. Now there was no one to stop him, no one to tell him to take a break. No one waiting on him to be fed, waiting for him to walk into the room so she could yip he greetings. Oh there were the vaisels, but they were not the same.
But how did he tell Miss Danny he had failed her? Failed the gift she had given him? Failed his Princess? Well, the first step was knocking on the door.

Danny just gave a garbled shout that sounded something like "come in," being a bit more focused on her guitar. She'd picked up all the pieces, but it turns out? Putting a guitar back together was really, really hard when it was smashed.
In fact, it was probably impossible. Danny was just stupid enough to try.
It was frustratingly difficult, and Danny flopped back onto her pillow. Being a guitarist was suffering.

Did Miss Danny just say "come in" or "die, Yin"? Someone might have been a bit paranoid. Looking rather dejected but trying to stay strong Yin opened the door and walked in. The sight that met his eyes was certainly Miss Danny. She was trying to piece something together it seemed, perhaps...was that her guitar?
"M-M-Miss D-Danny?" Yin's nervousness was clearly present. "I...I have something I need to...confess." He was utterly distraught.

By the time Yin came in, Danny almost had a chip of plastic squeezed into a slot it clearly didn't fit into. She was that toddler that kept trying to put the circle piece in the square hole, even though you insisted it didn't fit.
She pushed just a little too hard and the piece went flying, landing somewhere deep within her closet. Tiff bounded out of said closet, piece in her mouth, and began running around the room like crazy. Tony followed soon thereafter, attempting to have some dignity strutting into the room, but eventually just chasing Tony like the minipet she was.
They ran until they reached Yin, looping around his legs and then eventually darting back into the closet. Well that piece of her guitar was lost forever.
Danny tiredly looked up at Yin and said, "Hey ... what's up?"

Yin had managed not to cry for the past two days.
He managed to hold in his tears when he saw the rabos appear.
When they brushed past his legs that was the final straw. He burst into tears even though he was standing in front of Miss Danny. "She is dead Miss Danny. It is all my fault." surely she would know what he meant just from that.

Danny continued fiddling with the guitar until Yin said "she's dead." Her eyes shot up at the mantis, who was doing the water thing people so often did. She was alarmed, and without information. Who was dead? Why were they dead? Hunters?
Yin was more important though. "Hey uh ... why don't you sit down," Danny said, standing up and pulling him to the bed. She rubbed one of his arms in a friendly way, really not sure how to comfort him. Danny wasn't good with feelings like this. "Who's dead? D'you wanna talk about it?"
In the back of her mind, the thought of hunters still dangled like a lure. Were they attacking? Were they here now? Being so exposed to the problem, it seemed like a constant threat now to Danny.

Yin started babbling, both from the contact with Miss Danny as well as the fact that she was comforting him now but when she found out what he had allowed to happen. "Well I did not kill her of course Miss Danny, I never would, I could not do it. It was a hunter. He had a sword. She got in the way you see. I did not even know she was there. I thought she was still in the room. I never would have taken her there Miss Danny, you must know that. I do not know how she got out but she did and she followed me even though I did not mean to go there and then she jumped in the way and he killed her and she is dead."
Apparently Yin did want to talk about it.

Danny had no clue what half of Yin's statement meant, but she understood the important bits. A hunter had killed someone and Yin didn't mean it to happen. She pulled Yin into a hug, and then put his head on her shoulder so she could stroke his hair. It was actually just a leftover habit from Rikki, so Yin would have to make do.
"Who Yin?" she said quietly, not wanting to jar the boil into freaking out and blubbering more water all over her. She was already making do with the fact that it was coming from her face. She didn't want it poured all over her too.
A bit more urgently, she said, "Hunter? Is he here?" She couldn't hide the concern that weaved in and out of her voice. If there were hunters, that meant they were in danger. She knew Yin was crying and needed comforting, but fending off a threat was more important. Less people crying.

Danny blinked and then looked at Yin, alarmed. A hunter killed his rabo? No wait, not just any rabo. This was Princess Eva. Danny may have been the biggest dunce in Halloween, but even she could tell that Yin loved Princess Eva more than life itself.
"Oh," she said, squeezing the boil closer. "I'm so sorry oh my Jack," she said, somewhat superficially.
She loved her minipets sure, but she'd never understand the weird bond Yin and Eva had. If one of her minipets died, she'd be sad, but not this broken up. It was better than one of her close friends being killed.
She still recognized this was a big ... thing for Yin. So she just sat there and stroked his hair while he sobbed.

Yin was apparently getting lots of hugs recently. From Miss Amphitrite not so long ago, then from Mot just a few days ago, and now Miss Danny. But now he needed to be strong. He pulled away slightly and tried to stop crying, though it may have taken some time.  "I...I am so sorry I let you down Miss Danny."But he was trying his best to be very manly about the whole situation.  Then he thought about his darling.

Danny frowned. She hated seeing her friends upset, and even though her entire body was screaming to get the jack away from that water, her friendship feelings were persevering through it. She definitely didn't make another attempt to hug him though, because one there was no way she was getting near that, and two it seemed as though Yin didn't want it.
"Yin you gotta calm down!" Danny said with concern, still frowning at him. Tony and Tiff poked their head out of the closet and weaseled their way onto her lap. She pushed one away and mumbled, "Not now."
Then she looked up at Yin. Maybe rabos would help? She picked up Tiff, the more rambunctious, obnoxious rabo and held it up to Yin. "Y'wanna .... I dunno, hold her?"

Danny looked at Yin skeptically. "What? Oh! Oh you mean with all the fire and stuff." Danny nodded sagely. She understood that concern more and more with each day she spent at Amityville. Turns out a LOT of things burned here. It was weird.
She picked up Tiff and walked over to her tiny lava fountain and unceremoniously dropped the rabo straight into the fire. After a dreadful, suspenseful moment of waiting, the rabo resurfaced and shook all the lava off, like a dog shaking water off after swimming. Then Tiff began to happily swim in little circles in the fountain, being all cute n s**t.
"See! No problem," she said happily. That would clear up any of Yin's worries, right?

Yin stared in horror, his mind easily replacing Tiff with Princess Eva. He might have shrieked a bit.  When she surfaced...well now, that was just weird. Yin just stared and then said sadly, "why was Princess Eva not attacked with lava."
