A large open field, just beyond a line of trees outside of one particular pasture, was the perfect setting. Flat, but lush with thick grass, and situated in what would probably be considered as neutral territory. It was not owned by any single pony; the field was simply there. But it would be the scene for something very special, indeed.
Who sent the invitations was unknown -- they were sealed in unmarked, homemade envelopes. All that was included were directions to the field, sketched vaguely on a makeshift parchment map, with a date and time. And these invitations were sent to very specific ponies, scattered all across the various pastures dotting the landscape.
It was to be a... family reunion, of sorts. And if the rather suspicious, but enormous, crate of freshly picked carrots was any indication (left by, one might assume, the same anonymous pony who sent the invitations), the field -- no matter how large -- was about to get very, very crowded.

While it wasn't unusual for Meteor to be found wandering around with other ponies--he was blind, after all--it was unusual for him to be seen walking with his half-sister. Not because of any dislike on his part, but because Anthos wasn't really the type to be patient enough to lead a blind pony around.
That, coupled with the fact that Anthos had actually permitted Meteor to grasp onto a bit of her mane so that he didn't lose his way, and anybody that knew Anthos would probably assume she was very, very ill.
Truthfully, it normally would have bothered Anthos to have her mane in another pony's mouth. But she was curious, so very curious, and when her and her half-brother--and every other half-bunny-sibling of hers on the pasture--received a letter inviting them to this location... Anthos knew she had to go, even if that meant leading her blind brother around.
It was tolerable enough, since Meteor was so quiet ( and how could he talk with her mane in his mouth, anyway? ). But Anthos had taken a rather long way around, to avoid any unnecessary shrubbery.
Tired and curious beyond all belief, when Anthos and Meteor arrived, the former walked her charge up to the carrots and stood there, glancing around wearily.
"We are here, brother... But there does not seem to be anybody else, yet." She paused and turned to look towards Meteor, again, "If you do not mind releasing my mane, Meteor... I would much appreciate it.
Meteor immediately let go of Anthos' mane, carefully nudging it away from himself. He quietly sniffed the air and pulled back, suspicious.
"Carrots? Anthos, where are we?" He asked, his tone low and heavy, and his words short and to the point.
"I... I am not sure..." Anthos answered honestly, a small bit of fright trickling down her spine. "And, I believe, we are most certainly alone."

Corro was pretty sure he had the right place. From what he could see, if he turned his head in just the right way, the map he held in his mouth should have lead him to the field he was currently standing in. It was an awkward way to hold the map, pinched in between his teeth, but his traveling companion offered little in the way of assistance.
Still, it was exciting to see just what the fuss was about. His entire pasture had been a buzz with what the invitations were for. Speculation had arisen, rather quickly, that given the recipients of said invitations... perhaps Leander himself had been behind it all. But Corro very much doubted that.
He came up to the middle of the field, bent down to set the map on the grass, and then craned his head to the side. Peering backwards, behind him, to where his half-sibling was quietly trotting along.
"Come along, Petit. We don't want to be late." "We won't be!"
Petit came bounding up behind Corro and leaned right against his half-brother's side. Not slouching, just pressing there, and he cast a quick glance around the flat area of grass.
"Look, Corro," He said, quietly. The field was almost empty, with that inconspicuous crate of carrots (that looked particularly delicious), but across the way, on the other side of the field..... there were ponies. Two of them. Petit didn't instantly recognize them, but he knew vaguely who they could be. Who they might be. And it thrilled him! "We're not late at all!"
And he took off like a little blue-haired shot, making a beeline for the pretty green mare and her blindfolded companion.
"Hello?! Hello!!"

Roseus walked along a beaten path, it felt like she had been walking for hours, but with every step she could see the field getting closer. The field that was depicted on the map enclosed in the invitation sent to her and all of her other brothers and sisters that resided in her field.
Wary at first, she was going to decline and just stay at home, but after speaking with a few of her siblings, she opted to go. Alair was to afraid, Casca had no interest at all, Pirouette and Adagio were still getting used to their new surrounding, they weren't yet ready to venture off alone and Senet was nowhere to be found, probably off brooding somewhere. She had no choice in the matter and to make it even worse, Lapin was the only one of her siblings to volunteer to join her.
So she trotted along, tuning him out most of the time.
"Lapin, I think we're almost there. I see something big..and orange ahead?"
"Oh really? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention, I was distracted by your beauty."
Lapin followed along side Roseus, as soon as he got his invitation he knew he would be one of the ones to go, he wouldn't miss it for the world. Roseus tagging along? That was just icing on the cake, who wouldn't want to have her as a companion, now if there was just someway he could get her alone....
Lost in thought, he kept walking, tripping over his front feet and stumbling forward. "What the..?" Looking down he saw a carrot, few more steps, a few more carrots, and sure enough in the middle of this mysterious field, there was a big, orange pile of carrots.
But the carrots weren't the only thing in the field, not anymore. Standing a distance across from him were Anthos and Meteor, joined by Corro and another pony he had yet to meet, pretty little thing, too.
"Well, well.. What do we have here?"

Bloob stumbled onto the field with Bloob in her mouth. Looking at all of the other ponies, she lowered her head to set Bloob on the ground.
"Bloob loves carrots.."
Picking Bloob back up along with a few of the carrots, she kept on walking until she disappeared from view.

Anthos opened her mouth to greet the hyperactive purple and teal pony that was quite plainly related to herself... But promptly closed her mouth to watch in silence as the strange purple and red pony wandered up to the bunches of carrots, picked a few, and then continued on its way.
She stared quietly for a moment before turning back to her assumed half-sibling... "Hello..." Her tone was somewhat apprehensive, still extremely confused about the random carrot-thief. She tilted her head from the unknown pony to the other two arrivals, "Did each of you also receive a letter?" she asked, glancing from pony to pony. She didn't acknowledge Meteor, mostly because he made himself fall into the background, preferring to listen and only speak when he had something to say.

"Hello!" repeated Petit, again, in a cheerful voice.
Even though he'd been in his home pasture but only a few days, Petit had already learned from his other half-siblings that there were even more of them out there. Corro's brothers and sisters, Cecily's brothers and sisters, Lavender's brothers and sisters.... and while he wasn't totally sure he knew just which batch of orbs these other two ponies were from, he knew they were family. And that was enough.
"We did," he went on to reply. "Corro has the map with him."
But that was all Petit seemed interested in saying. Instead, he took two very purposeful steps closer to the pretty green-haired mare and he leaned in, pressing the side of his head against her flank. Her pelt was soft and pretty and Petit couldn't help but nuzzle against her. Just a little bit.
While Petit took it upon himself to be awkward with his half-sister, Corro's attention moved away from the first two ponies -- one of them, Meteor, he recognized from Cecily and Delilah's batch of orbs; the other pony, while he didn't know her name, Corro knew to be one of the first their father ... fathered -- and his eyes shifted to the side when he heard even more voices around.
Only for a moment, did he stare... puzzled... at the red and purple pony as she walked past.. but he saw pink in the distance. Pink and ribbons. And this time, it was Corro that took off running.
"Roseus!" Oh, his beloved sister. Corro trotted over towards her and grinned, wide and happy, as he came up in stride beside her. He recognized the other rabbit with her from a neighboring pasture and addressed him quietly, "Lapin, hello," before turning his attention right back to Roseus. "You got a letter too, then? What is it for? Do you know?"

"Corro!" Roseus almost squealed when she saw him running toward her and she lept forward to meet him the rest of the way, ducking her head down to nuzzle him gently.
Leaning back after a moment, she perked her head up looking closely at the other three ponies, two of them she knew, not well, but she knew them and the third was someone she hadn't seen before. Offering a small nod toward Meteor and Anthos, she was just about to speak when Bloob walked past. Shaking her head, she waited for her to take her leave before mumbling quietly.
"Mm. All of our brothers and sisters at my pasture got one, me and Lapin were the only two to show any interest. I'm not sure what they are for, I was hoping one you could tell us."
 "Corro.."
Lapin nodded slightly as his eyes followed Bloob while she walked off of the field. Such a strange pony, he thought to himself, but cute nonetheless.
Walking toward Anthos and Petit, he gave a wide smile in greeting, his tail twitching just a bit.
"Anthos, looking lovely as usual. Who do we have here?" Lapin leaned in to get a closer look at Petit and though the colors of his pelt were very different, his mane and tail suggested that his father was still up to his old tricks and he in fact had yet another half brother.
