Have non keywielder characters been considered? It appears as though some are npcs, from what I've seen of sunset terrace that is, but what about as actual play characters? There were major characters who didn't wield a key and did travel through worlds in the past (according to Leon and gang's history). I don't know about anyone else but I think it might be fun to allow some to join in.
Yes I was going to have non keywielders as possible characters to choose from but I couldn't figure out how to fit them into the plot. Another thing was that I couldn't really allow canon characters for I pretty much foreshadowed how it would go down and it would not have been pretty, can't have everyone being Cloud, Squall, Tifa, Sephiroth and what not.
Also, if you're talking about the villains, they used the darkness and even then it was only Maleficent who traveled to other worlds, though Hades could he didn't. Squall (Leon) and the gang didn't so much as travel to Traverse town or Hollow Bastian, so much as was sent and beckoned. I do vaguely remember that their was a way to travel to worlds but I don't think it could have been used again (but like I said vaguely, have read the manga in some time)
I digress though I wouldn't mind having non wielders, I mean they could assist or what not but they would have to be OCs, as NPCs (the canon characters) would be played out by the crew.
So at the moment non-wielders are in my maybe-maybe not category since, like I stated I don't really have much planned for them and I don't want them to be just assist.
