Lame title but I really couldn't think of a better one at the moment.
So what are your personal feelings on New Vegas compared to Fallout 3? Why might I ask this? 1st, this sub category needs topics, and 2nd, I happen to be playing NV again after a failed start in Fallout 3.

I had started Fallout 3 again however within a few hours I was bored and I realized the reason was not a dislike of the game world but that I was already in some of the best armor in the game. I started up Fallout New Vegas after and found myself enjoying it a lot more, not because of the world, FO3 had a better environment - Hilly open areas, cramped downtown, but because I could play for several hours and my highest armor was Reninforced Leather, and my weapons are slow to be replaced. I feel that the selection of armor and weapons in NV were much better done, you don't skip from Leather, Combat and then Power Armor like in FO3. There is a slow build up that makes you feel like you earned it, that and I love to be a sniper in NV. Also the DLC in NV was better then in FO3, atleast from my POV, concidering that Old World Blues hit the old 50's sci-fi deal perfectly.

So what was your take on the two games?

Greetings;

I like them both fairly evenly. I have to say that they definetly improved on things more in New Vegas. Getting to see the Nightkin again after Fallout 2. The way that they redid the Enclave armor in New Vegas to look more like what you saw in Fallout 2. The fact that some of the creatures were better explained...I honestly always saw it as that New Vegas was more of an expansion pack to Fallout 3, most people I talked to felt the same. As opposed to what you said though, you can get just about anything you want if you know where to look. I am able to get myself some pretty decent armor and weapons fairly early in. Upgrade the varmit Rifle to a sniper rifle for example...Take out a lot of legion people at their camp along the river...And then there was the first place I ever ran into them-Nipton. I always go there right away and wipe them out there. Kill the guy in charge to get my hands on his machete gladius...Awesome weapon. Is it always easy? No. But still. If you are just that good then...

Thank you...

How do I look now? Total bad-a**, right?

Thank you...

It seemed a bit odd that FO3 Enclave armor used the power armor design from Tactics, which I thought looked really cool myself so yes the redesign to a more traditional look was cool. On the weapons and armor, although you can get things fairly easy if you try, unlike in Fallout 3, if you just wander, you don't get armor very quickly, in FO3, even when I don't try I suddenly have the best armor in the game within a few hours.

Also, nice avi.
