When Michael was a young boy, the other kids were afraid of him, for being a vampire. He only had a few friends but they all left him. Adding insult, he was constantly bullied in school and much of its staff ignored the fact. His parents sent him to the island to live in where he could be accepted and to finish his studies without troubles.
