Amphi had her music blaring, her room shook with the newest CD from the superstar student and her secret fangirling crush: Johnny Danger or better known to her as...JD.
Her mouth moved with the words, even as no sound came out, her little booty shook to the rhythmic beat as she jumped on the bed, the scream chorus shaking from every little part of her body, fingers air strumming guitar...changing to drums and back as she paused mid chorus to strike a pose.
In all honesty, It was a typical teenage dorm ghoul having a great time. How did she know that this would be the first major disturbance in the bliss of her coupleyness things with Roch?

Roch stepped into the room, stopping mid-yawn as he realized what was playing. He stared blankly at the dancing ghoul, then looked for the radio, calmly walking over to it--and pushing the off button. "What."
He took a moment to come up with the words. "In. The. HELL. Are you listening to?"

Amphi blinked as Roch came into her room and smiled, waving at him. She was about to drop it like it was hot when the music suddenly cut off.
Swirling her blue eyes around. She narrowed them and jumped off the bed, coming to stand in front of the reaper. her phone was out of course, relaying the message for him.Quote: JD's new CD came out and I was listening to my favorite song of it. Here let me turn it back on so you can hear him too!

"That--that--" He looked at her. "You actually LIKE that jerk?" he asked, sounding as betrayed as he felt. "His music is crap! He's a cocky little jacker that hits on everything that's got boobs! I can't believe you're listening to--to--this candlewax!"
He kept his hand over the button, not about to let her start up the music again. His ghoulfriend--his pretty, adoring ghoulfriend--a Johnny Danger fan!!

Amphi nodded and then frowned. Her happy face easily replaced by the expression as she stared at him.

Pain... oh pain... ag. oh. kneeee. In fact he took a step back, as if she'd hit him. "So... you're takin' his side?" he asked hoarsely. His own ghoulfriend, betraying him over something like this. It made his head hurt. "Thinkin' I'm judgin' a guy by his LOOKS?"

She continued to stare at him as the CD changed to a slow more calming sound, a serenade even!

And you don't haveta know a guy to know how limited his skills are--sure he's got a decent voice, but the boil knows all of four chords on that jackin' pretend scythe--where in the JACK does he get off gettin' a guitar that looks like a weapon? That's an insult to me! And he's a prissy little jacker that talks down to everyone or tries to get up their skirts! He ain't NO GOOD, Amphi. And his music is a complete ripoff of better musicians with lousy lyrics tacked on--"

Amphi threw up her hands and then pointed at Roch.
Her mouth opened but with no sound there was a lot of moving. And if he was paying attention, he could see a lot of words coming off those pretty little lips.
They generally went around like:
'You do know him?' then 'and what if his weapon was a guitar too! and his voice is like a angel! How could you say it's bad?'
She was beginning to see a little JEALOUSY coming from her boilfriend and just....it was so jackdamn pointless! She loved Roch so why would it matter if she liked JD's music too! To her both of them were good in their own way!

"An... off... day--are you saying my music can be off?" he asked, his eyes widening in shock before narrowing dangerously. "You're saying that that p***k is always on, but I'm not? Well here's a surprise, blue eyes, he's in a booth when he records those--over and over and over again until he finally gets it right! MY music is LIVE. And that prissy little pissface jacker has NOTHING on me when it comes to guitar! NOTHING!"
Voice, on the other hand--but he wasn't going to talk about that.

Amphi blinked and held her hand up. No way in Jack's hell did JD's voice ever NOT sound amazing.
And sometimes Roch did have off days, unlike herself, because you know she was a mermaid and her voice was enhanced NATURALLY. Or something like that. Though when it came to guitar, her boil was the best.

 She'd just--that was--she was ATTRACTED to him?? He stared at her in horror, his mind not wanting to let that sentence sink in. Sure he knew his voice wasn't on JD's level--he'd even told her when they first met that he WASN'T a singer! But that--that was-- He turned towards the door, intent on leaving AND slamming the door shut behind him.

Amphi covered her ears at Roch's scream and stared at him like he was just...
Ad then he was trying to leave after that and she was just like. Nope.
She moved in front of the door and poked the boil in the chest. Intent on finishing what they started.
Her hands were on her hips again as she stared up at him. Really stared up at him.

Amphi wanted to know why this argument was even happening okay. All she wanted to do...was listen to JD's new CD and Roch had to throw a fissy fit and she was just....
She slid her arms around his waist and smiled at him, giving him big blues eyes....and pinched his side.
You better stop with your dramatics Roch or the pinching would get worst.
