Ardhi was becoming tired of living on the outskirts of his brother pride. He was ever so slowly making his way farther and farther from his brothers pride everyday. He wished he could do it alone but this little bird Nili had officially named herself his guardian as a favor to his father. He hated it because he knew she was taking information back to his brother Tope. He loved Tope with all his heart but he hated feeling like he was a little kid who could get hurt at any moment and needed constant monitoring. All their other siblings were gone and scattered to the winds to make their own lives but he was still having to be watched. To begin with it had been his parents who watched him but now he'd been uprooted and moved so he could be watched by his brother Tope.
Ardhi knew Tope didn't mind but he so wanted desperately to be allowed to move on to somewhere new without someone who would watch him. He wanted to try something different and become his own lion and get away from anyone who he could be remotely related to. He just wasn't sure where that would be since he knew so little of the world.
