((This rp is kind of like a past thing since Furiko is already working to get into Kizingo'zaa but I got the idea and thought it could be an interesting rp.))

The morning on the savannah was in full swing and there were animals moving about all over. Most were trying to get their needs taken care of before the harsh heat of mid-day sent them all running for shade. However there was one pair of males, a lion and a cheetah, who were at a standstill in the middle of the tall grasses. A light blue lion with a brown mane was poised and ready to attack a white cheetah with blue splotches on the top half of his body. Furiko, the light blue lion, had been wandering the grass lands seeming to be lost in the waves of the grass when he had spotted the cheetah ahead. He didn’t like cheetah’s and seen them as inferior to him due to his upbringing in a pride who was severely prejudice to any species that was not lion. Furiko was frustrated, tired, hungry and this cheetah was in his path. This cheetah was not going to get out of his sight without some kind of roughing up to relieve Furiko’s own tensions.

Buluu on the other hand was ready to get the heck out of dodge. He was extremely fearful of lions and any time a lion was near he did his best to keep from being noticed and head on his way. Oh boy had he screwed up when he realized he was being watched and stalked by the big blue lion. He had not even been paying attention to who was around at the time. He had been oogling a cute lady cheetah when he’d realized she was slinking away as fast as she could away from him. He thought he’d done something to upset her. It wasn’t until he turned his gaze from her that he had spotted the lion that was now stalking him and poised to kill.

Furiko kept on advancing on Buluu. He was not going to let him get away no matter what and if he got the chance he was actually considering eating Buluu. He doubted the meat would taste that great but if he got his claws into him there was no stopping him. After a few moment Furiko picked up his pace and began trotting towards Buluu. He’d had enough stalking and was ready to rip his head off!

Furiko continued to pick up his pace until finally he was running full out at the cheetah. His claws were out to give him better traction and to sink into Buluu the moment he was within range of his back legs. All his hunting practice and training he had done with his pride before it had disbanded was paying off in this situation. Furiko was catching up to Buluu and he was ready to sink his claws into his thigh.

Buluu managed to land a hit straight to Furiko’s forehead which seemed to stun him for a moment. Furiko stopped and shook his head but Buluu hadn’t stopped he had turned around and was now several feet away. He was standing tall and gazing at Furiko warily trying to see if he would come after him again. Furiko had every intention to continue pursuit. He snarled at Buluu and charged again.

Buluu began to weave and even make large U turns to try and shake off Furiko. Even Furiko was beginning to tire now and he was slowing. He had never actually chased a cheetah and now he realized what the cheetah was really capable of. After several U turns of following Buluu it was then that Furiko had finally had enough of this squirmy cheetah. Furiko sat down and just gazed at Buluu as he panted to try and cool himself down after such a long chase. When Buluu realized Furiko had finally stopped Buluu turned around and eyed Furiko to see if he was going to continue to chase him. After a little bit Buluu settles in believing that Furiko had finally given up. Once he knew that Buluu simply turned around and walked away but made sure to check and make sure that Furiko wasn’t going to chase him anymore. Buluu had little to worry about though as Furiko was not even going to bother. He was utterly exhausted and completely done with Buluu.
