Rolled a One: Ice Field: The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Kronos bounded into the Stadium with a puppyish joy, tail wagging in anticipation of the battle. As soon as the field had finished settling into its strange blue coat, the Poochyena ran onto it to prepare, only to slip on the cold ice and bonk her nose.

Lenore walked into the frigid stadium with Mephistopheles at her side. The duskull lit a spectral fire beside the girl before floating down to the icy field.

Mephistopheles bowed before Kronos. "Greetings. My name is Mephistopheles, but you may call me Mephisto. I shall be your opponent for the duration of this match. Good luck."

Mephistopheles raised his arms slowly, leveling them at the poochyena. A chill wind blew forth, racing towards Kronos.

Kronos perked her ears at the unexpected greeting. She hadn't battled enough to know if was normal or not, but she felt she should say something in return.

"I'm Kronos an' I'm gonna try an' beat ya!" she finally replied after what she thought was a lengthy amount of contemplating. A pleased waving of her tail followed her brilliant speech, and it may have lasted for quite a while had a cold blast of wind not knock her off her feet.

Quickly setting her mind on the battle at hand, she slipped her way over to the Duskull and aimed to grab a hold of his dark cloth.

Kronos blinked, eying the area where she was sure she had seen Mephisto last. Thankfully, she was kindly reminded of his new location with a blast of chilly wind.

Spinning round to find him, she tried to snap her teeth on his folds once more.

Mephistopheles raised his arms, and pools of shadow formed around him. Shadowy tendrils rose up from the pools, writhing about to serve as a shield.

Mephistopheles kept his attention on the poochyena as more tendrils rose from the pools. He lowered his arms as the poochyena broke free.

Kronos watched the floating Duskull warily now as she freed herself from the ice. Already he'd done impossible things, like disappearing and flying without wings, and she thought it best to be on her guard now. Later on, she'd have to ask him how he did so.

For now, though, she stuck with harassing and tormenting the dark cloth that surrounded him with her teeth.
