This isn't London, exactly, so much as a fringe of buildings that are just barely close enough to be part of the sprawling city. Regardless, there's a good deal of excitement buzzing through this placid little setting. New Lotus members? And to be picked up here by Lotus itself, no less? A small crowd has gathered in the square, comprised largely of people who had to travel to be here. All look attentively at one another, more than on-edge. Is it you? Is it you? How about you? Are YOU one of Lotus's new members, just trying to blend in quietly?
It's an exciting day for the usually quiet community. Lotus, the organization that each country tips its proverbial hat to and yet that none seem to really understand? That's coming here? Lotus, the enigmatic group that Janus himself has an equally mysterious vendetta against? However covert his jabs at them are...word circulates. Someone sees, and a rumour is leaked, and now everyone knows that most of Lotus's troubles stem directly from the very god of time, the emperor of the expanding Roman kingdom.
And that's all the more reason to respect Lotus. Whatever it is.
Whatever serious undertones may exist, though, the excitement is tangible...new Lotus members! Such giants of men they must be!

A crusty-looking old sailor who's done more than his share of shrinking in these last few years looks through the area, practically bouncing with glee. Lotus is going to pick its new members up here...and he's the lucky local geezer who's been assigned to tell them that they are indeed in the right place.
He's practically boucing around...at least as effectively as a man of his age can bounce, which isn't very. Regardless, the sparkle in his eyes is far sharper than the aptitude of his movements, and he's remarkably tireless as he awaits the arrival of Lotus's new recruits.

Delgerdzaya had to admit, the crowd wasn't exactly something she cared for. The jostling and bumping, and all that noise was very distasteful. But all the same, the girl was there. In her outlandish garb yes, but she had managed to get there in time.
Now, as she gazed at the crowd silently, she had to wonder if she was actually in the right place - It would certainly have been a complete waste to travel here otherwise. Many people probably would have enjoyed visiting London, but as she had thought before, it simply wasn't her sort of scene.
Amidst the confusion and excitement of the crowd though, she noted one person who seemed somewhat out of place - well, as much as one could in a crowd like this.
A bouncing old man. Well, that's not something you see every day.
((Heh, edited it sweatdrop I feel rather silly now.))

For all she had heard of London, she was surpised to have arrived on a day without the imfamous rain that London is said to always be cursed with. She had made her way to London, a long way from home, for one reason and one reason alone. She was to be a member of Lotus. An orgnization that she had thought was a myth, where people from all around the world gathered to fight evil, as if it were a comic book. The small woman had been surprised when she was contacted by this organization as well and had nearly choked.
The young Korean woman now looked at her surroundings, it was a foggy night though for all that there was no rain, it was still London after all. Before she would step out of the shadows, her dark eyes searched. Her eyes immediately noticed the weathered man that stood in the square waiting. She looked around cautiously once more, paranoia cautioning her, and began to make her way to the man.

The old sailor is thrilled to see him, and a few people get out of his way to avoid him going right through them. "Hello hello!" the geezer calls as he approaches the two just-arrived women. "You two look about as out of place as I would be at the queen's ball!" He grins at his own joke. "Welcome, welcome...you must be two of Lotus's new recuits! You're in the right place!"
A murmur travels through the crowd, and it parts for and around the Easterners, spotlighting them quite nicely.

Dzaya turned her gaze to the other women, scanning her for a moment. She didn't seem to be a fighter, though that could be deceiving...ah well, expecting them all to be fighters probably wasn't correct anyway. There were bound to be other things that they needed people for, not just the more athletic ones.
As the crowd seperated away from her, she wasn't really sure if she preferred this. She was no longer being jostled, yes, but now everybody was staring at her and that other woman; not exactly the most preferrable circumstances.
The Mongolian turned to face the old man again, and gave a slight bow of greeting. Her only response asides from that, was simply her name.
"Delgerdzaya."

The short woman watched as the other woman that had arrived just looked her over. She knew that her appearance was deceiving, a leverage she took full advantage of. Her appearance was more questionable with the outfit she was wearing at the moment. A traditional Hanbok with a silk purple top and black skirt with gold embroidery.
She watched as the other woman introduced her self and then with an intention of giving no true reflection of her real character, the woman gave a gentle smile and bowed deeply with her arms held under the flap of her top saying, "Ahn yung ha sae yo."
When she stood straight again, she kept her mischevious eyes on the ground like any proper traditional Korean woman and introduced herself in a more universal language though still in the Korean style of giving her last name first.
"Hello. I am Kim, Eisul."

"Nice to meet ya both. Seem like smart ladies...and already sizing each other up, huh?" the sailor laughs. "Tell me, are you two deciding whether to kill one another, or whether to go on a date?" Apparently Lotus likes recruiting the hyper-aware.

Eisul blushed prettily and ducked her head. In her mind she wanted to barf at her own actions. She knew how to act, she had been bait enough times in the past to not be able to put on a good show now. She hoped though that her act could be dropped soon when they got down to business and when the action began.
The short young woman gave another small smile, "I think nothing of the sort, sir." She wasn't lying, she truly had no intentions of killing the other woman unless provoked.

The sailor grins at Eisul's shyness. "Aww...don't worry your pretty head, Miss. I'm just joking with you, and I'm sure Lotus'll have all the right amenities for a proper lady such'as yourself." Hook, line, and sinker.

Dzaya couldn't help the small smirk that flashed across her face at the man's words, though it was gone just as quickly as it came. When she spoke, it held more wry humor then anything else.
"Being aware is never a bad thing."
Truthfully, that wasn't really an answer to what he had said...but she didn't really think about that. In her mind, that was an explanation - just not to exactly what he had asked. The other girl seemed somewhat embaressed by his comment, something that she noted with more amusement.
Surely someone picked by Lotus couldn't be that - shy.

The old sailor was a nice enough man, but was he not informed of her true nature or was he just going with the act that she was putting on. She was curious, but showing her curiousity wasn't something she could afford at the moment.
She nodded as the man introduced himself. Eisul was curious to know how many others had been recruited and what kind of people they were. She now looked at the other girl. She wondered what kind of skills the girl had. She looked like a country girl, but she didn't think that that was all the girl, Dzaya was. Eisul was eager to see.

((Post out of sequence...Pae beat me to correcting. x3;; ))
The sailor grins at Dzaya. Kind of a weird lady, a tough girl to be sure. But he rather likes her. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Henrick. My...parents were absolutely sloshed when they named me, don't ask. I'm just some random guy here to let you know you're in the right place. Other than that, I'm as bloody lost as you."

Dzaya gave a slight nod, thinking things over for a moment. "Then I assume someone will be showing up, soon?"
The bit about his parents being 'sloshed' - she thought she understood the slang there, but wasn't entirely sure. She thought that it meant drunk, but that was mainly because the only other thing she could think of was being soaked - and that didn't seem very logical. Ah well, at least he seemed to be an entertaining sort of guy.
She was curious about her new workmate as well, but didn't suppose it was the best idea to try and learn about her in this crowd.
