" Uuugh It's your duty, should you choose to accept it---" The second gnome heaved a really heavy sigh, dropping it's head to the side as though it were just too much work to hold it up. "Is to beat the living daylights out of the other." A brief glance was cast to the louder gnome, who was frantically making a sawing motion over it's throat with an index finger. " Uuugh, I mean rock the living daylights out of each other. Sigh. Please read this your damn selves and sign at the bottom." Clearly, his give-a-damn was broken. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rules OOC Rules Due to time constraints, each Team has 12 hours to make their posts.
Failure to post within that time period means they are forfeiting their turn
Read the instructions below carefully! It's kind of how this thing works.
First team to hit 0HP loses! Winner advances to the next round.
This battle is TEAM vs TEAM, and each member posts individually to attack.
This is for fun, so don't get too upset if you lose!
Battling How-To This is TEAM TURN BASED Battle! - Meaning all three members of Team 1 has to post before any members from Team 2 can! (Unless time constraints have team 1 players forfeit).
Each 'Weapon' has their own mechanics, which you will find below. Please adhere to your intrument's mechanics!
Roll first, and edit in your post with an RP'd action and the damage/hp stats!
Be very careful to keep track of all damage and remaining HP values!
No real Reaper Weapons will be used. Instruments have been provided if you don't want to break yours.

Guitarist Mechanics For the band member with the title Guitarist, even if it isn't. Weapon: Usually something Guitar-like Action: Smash your opponent with whatever flair you want! Mechanics: roll 2 6-sided dice (2d6) and subtract 4. If your result is 0 OR negative, your guitar breaks instead and you're on the sidelines for the rest of the match! Example 1: I roll a 4 and a 2. 6(total damage) - 4 = 2. Therefore, I do 2 damage Example 2: I roll a 2 and a 2. 4(my total) - 4 = 0. Therefore, my guitar breaks and I'm out! Vocalist Mechanics For the band member with the title Vocalist, even if it isn't. Weapon: Anything vaguely Skellyphone like. Megaphones included. Action: Yell into it to send a blast of sound! Or, you know, just shatter eardums with the pitch. You could even hit them with it if you wanted! Mechanics: Roll 2 6-sided dice (2d6) and subtract 6. Drummer Mechanics For the band member with the title Drummer, even if it isn't. Weapon: Usually something Drum-like. Action: Throw your drumsticks (or a piece of the drum set if you're THAT frustrated!), but beware, there might be rebound! Mechanics: Roll 2 8-sided dice (2d cool . The first dice is the damage you do to the other team, and the second dice is the damage done to your team! Example 1: I roll a 8 and a 3. I do 8 damage to the other team, and 3 damage to my team! are on Team A Vaseline, Oxy, and Mars are on Team B Team B is chosen to go first. Vaseline rolls to attack, edits post. Mars rolls to attack, edits post. Well....somehow they had actually done amazingly well with their audition, and at least one of the judges must have really liked them because they blew the competition out of the water with their final score. He was guessing maybe that particular judge hadn't noticed how terrible his drummer skills were. He would happily give all the cred to Mort and Amrita for the win.
But now they were in the real competition. And wouldn't you know it, their first opponents were gnomes. The zomboil had had issues with gnomes in the past, and he would only two eagerly pay them back for it.
Without hesitation, he whipped one of his drum sticks towards the other drummer, only to have it rebound and spin back towards, him.
Hrmmmm, okay, so this could be a little tricky.

Relief flooded him when he saw how well their band did, and this time Mort made sure not to shock his friends when he delivered the high fives backstage, grinning like a fool. But as it turned out, instead of going up against one of the student bands, in the first round they were going against . . . gnomes.
Well Mort wasn't about to complain.
The only thing he regretted was how small these things were, and thus when the zomboil took a swing at the singer it was only a glancing blow. Wielding a weapon was a lot different than just outright punching things in the face. Or shocking them. Actually he wondered if the guitar could handle channeling energy for next time . . .

Amrita was on cloud nine after their results were back in. Sure the majority made her cringe, but in the end they had done so well! There were plenty of highfives backstage and a lot of smiling, which was something she knew she sorely needed. This was fun, this was silly, and most importantly this was getting her mind off of everything else. In this stadium, holding onto this microphone, she didn't have to worry about the parasite on her core, or the Hunters watching them;
Let them. Maybe they'll burst their ear drums!
She didn't even care who her opponent was. All she cared about was being on stage, having fun, and being able to scream.
Of course, her first yell into her mic sent out a fairly pathetic blast, but it was a blast nonetheless!

That's right, the guitarist gnome thought, taking a deep breath--it was time. Time to summon his INNER DWARF!! "OH YEAH!" he bellowed, bringing the guitar that was bigger than he was up and racing forward. He was going to bash those knees--those knees--he was pretty sure it was a ghoul he was aiming at, right?
Maybe if he got close enough he could look up her skirt! His guitar hit Amrita in the legs, sending her skirt flapping--well... no, not really...
But in his evil little heart he swore she had a Marylin Deadro moment.

"YEEEAHHHH!!! BAM BAM BAAAM!!" The shortest of the gnomes in the band was doing his best to make the most noise. He had to stand on the stool, of course, and the sticks were almost as long as he was tall, but he was beating with all his might!!
Oh wait, he was supposed to attack. He could do that! The little gnome sent his drumstick flying end over end, aiming at the boil on drums. 10 pts for a poked out eye!
It didn't... you know... get that far. In fact it barely hit the other drum set before it bounced back and hit the lead singer of gnome attack on the nose. He ah... probably was going to get in trouble for that one. Whoops.

Amrita did, in fact, nearly have a Marilyn Deadro moment. Her reflexes kicked in, but not to protect her skirt; her original attempt at a backlash was to knock the guitar from hitting her, but it just so happened she managed to keep her delightfully torn garment from flipping up and letting everyone see what she was wearing underneath.
A few seconds later and a good look at the expression on the gnomes face, she understood. Her own face darkened in mortification, both backward hands instantly on the microphone's pole.
"...PERVERT!" She yelled, bashing the Gnome Guitarist over the head with her mic stand.

If Amrita hadn't beaten him to the punch, Mort would've clobbered the punk. As it was, he was a bit wary of getting in the way of that swinging mic pole. "Get him!" he egged her on, vicariously taking pleasure from her violence.
Then he turned to the vocalist gnome instead and grew a nasty grin as little arcs of electricity snaked down his arms and into the guitar. Would the instrument hold? One way to find out.
And thus Mort pulled a swing batter batter batter -
ZZZZZZT!

Oh no that little jacker did not just throw a drumstick at Alex's face! The zomboil ducked, bringing up his arm with a growl, the stick bouncing off of it almost harmlessly.
Okay, s**t was about to get real now.
Alex glowered at the gnome, pale eyes full of malicious intent. With a crash and a clang he was pulling apart the cymbal and tossing it at the opposing drummer like an overlarge and heavy frisbee.
And it also rebounded back to crash into them. Oh well, the sound it had made when it had connected against that stupid gnome was like the sweetest music Alexander had ever heard.

"Oooooooo feisty aint'cha?" The Guitarist gnome cackled out, still rubbing his head from the whacking he'd gotten. Don't you worry little Lady, he'd be back for you. He blew her a kiss, and went to take out his frustrations on Sparky over there.
Or at least, that's what he wanted to do; but as he lifted his guitar he realized that his head wasn't the only thing the ghoul had smashed.

Drummer Gnome let out a wail of displeasure at finding a suspiciously cymbal like indent on his head.
Those meddling kids!
He tried to return the favour, but couldn't throw far enough to hit Alex; instead he hit Amrita, just before the cymbal came crashing back into his face.
