Abbott walked silently out the shop. She moved around to fiddle quietly through her bag. Dang keys, she could never find them fast enough. She was irritated, long day with no cigarette equaled a very unhappy and unpleasant Abbott. She quietly cruse at herself while she fiddle once again her purse. Finally she grabbed ahold of something the felt like the keys and quickly locked the door.
As quickly as she turn off the street of her store she had a cigarette in one hand and a lighter in the other lighting her handmade cig. She smiled and took in a long drag, slowly letting out the smoke as she enjoy the pleasure the nicotine gave to her as the last of the smoke moved out her mouth. She quickly moved out through street, quietly enjoying her cigarette with a small smile on her face.

It was that time again.
Painite got bored easily, more so now than ever before. She did not like routine as much as she once did, and even planning every single detail was trying her nerves. She leaned more toward planning big things, and improvising her way through anything that went wrong.
But she was still loyal, still determined. She wanted to see the Negaverse flourish and grow, and she would do what she could to aid it. That included taking the time every now and then to find a new member.
Which was what she was doing now.
She'd been watching the girl for a little while now, and decided without as much deliberation and wasted time as she normally applied that this was as good a target as any. She was atop the roof of the store the girl came out of, and watched her lock up. A nice walk home?
Tonight she was in for a surprise.
The Negaverse General teleported, appearing in front of Abbott.
"I hear those things will kill you, you know," she said smoothly, her English accent curling her words into the kind of wicked banter one might expect from a Bond villain. "If someone else doesn't get you first, of course."

She blinked, stopped, and took another hit on her cigarette. Yes, this might of made other people jump but Abbott was use to this, in a sort of way. She work at a book store, were children ran up to her faster then she could blink, or what she thought. This was almost the same. She smiled and blew out the smoke.
If she had a penny for every time she heard this, then she would be richer then she already was. Not that she faulted her wealth, heck she kept it more of a secret because she enjoy working instead of living on her wealth. She took a small glance at the other female and smiled again. "I'm taking you're on of those terrorists my mother keeps mentioning to me about. She said something to the fact that I should be careful? I mean you don't look all that bad, I wonder why they keep reporting about you." she said almost as smoothly as the other lady.
Heck, work was work and Abbott didn't judge. She smiled again and took another hit, enjoying herself. The female looked a bit younger then she was, pretty, fight, and knowledgeable, qualities she enjoy in people. "You are correct, but I like to think that it makes my time by myself more enjoyable, plus I roll my own so I don't add all those nasty ingredients those tacky little companies do. Straight tobacco, which is better, but not perfect if you're one of those people." She smiled once again and took another puff. "Ahh I see where your getting at and I'm not really interested in dying right now, but if you could excuse me, I must be on my way, I have sometime to do." she said nodding her a good day and she began to walk again as if nothing happen.

"You don't think we're so bad? That's very kind of you. But it's the little babies in white you need to worry more about. They're the terrorists. Consider us... the antiheroes."
She grinned teasingly at the very idea, thoroughly amusing herself with this. It was always fun, picking a target, seeing what she was going to do with them. Sure, she could not kill the girl, not really, but she never had to tell them that.
Anyway, she had something much better in store for this girl.
Painite moved to block her path, putting the sharp blade of her weapon under the girl's chin and touching her neck enough to feel like a pin p***k or a bee sting. She watched her keenly.
"There's a fine line between confidence and stupidity. Believe me, I dance all over it every day. You, I must say, are day tripping into stupid. Your attitude just makes me want to kill you even more, which is a shame because I was going to make you an offer."

She almost paused a second as the lady talked about the other ones. How could she judge when she herself was a terrorist too. She gave her a small scoff.
She halted as the lady blocked her path once more. She frowned as she move her shiny weapon against her chin and then her throat. Two things Abbott didn't like was, first showing pain and the other was when others used their "power" to make them feel stronger. She sighed and crossed her arms. She gritted her teeth and looked straight into the other females eye. "Look. If you're going to insult me then just do it. I hate to dapple around the bush about anything. And I must say I'm not stupid, if I was stupid I wouldn't be as clam as I am now. Now I was going to leave but you have made this a bit more interesting so I might as well hear what you have to say." she said still looking into her eye.
Abbott was use to this. Mind games, while she quite enjoy these this was a different story. The lady could kill her if she wanted to but to know she hadn't had yet meant that something....or someone was telling her she could not which made Abbott a lot calmer and she smiled. "Am I still too stupid for this offer or are you just going to kill me." she said letting the word drift off her tongue. "Because even if I was to die right now I would still like to know what you have planned for me." she said with almost a sinister grin.

Painite smiled at her. It was a casual, almost warm smile, though the girl was technically being vexing with her stubborn refusal to be scared. Usually that would drive the Negaverse General right up the wall, but not tonight.
Tonight, it was actually something she was looking for.
That spark. That something special that screamed this girl was actually a good choice for a recruit. A potential for strength and growth within the team, and the ground roots for a good soldier. All she needed was a little direction, and some Chaos straight to the starseed was good for that.
She chuckled.
"Alright, I'll give you the offer plainly," she cooed. She placed one hand on the girl's chest, her fingers playing over her clothes thoughtfully. Of course, Painite could move her hand through the clothes as easily as she could the bones and flesh beyond to get to what she wanted. After a moment of watching her target's eyes for her reaction, Painite's hand slipped inside her chest instead of just resting against it. She wrapped her fingers around the starseed she found inside.
"I am going to make you like me," the way she said it didn't sound like an offer any more, exactly. "I am going to give you strength beyond your wildest dreams, and I am going to make you useful to us. You have a nice little set up here, and your personality is perfect. I even like you, so maybe I'm being selfish. But I am offering you a chance to fight those white skirts and their knight lap dogs. The real terrorists of this planet, invaders with no claim to our home. So tell me. Do you want what I'm offering you?"

She blinked waiting Watching the female talk and then finally placing a hand on her chest. She gently breath in and out, wondering what the hell she was doing. As soon as her hand slip further into her chest she wince, more then a wince she gasp for air. This pain was something that she had never experience and inside she screaming all over. She shut her eyes tightly, hoping that the pain would faded away. If this was the offer, she wasn't sure that she wanted it. Why, of all time would she kill her now. Was she just toying with her and about to kill her now. She gasp again and lightly fidget her feet, trying to grasp some kind of idea of what was what.
She screamed in her head until something came to light. The females voice, something she could attach herself too and know that she wasn't dying, yet just in horrible pain. She open her eyes and watch the other female slowly forum the words that she was saying. She smiled, almost as wicked as the smile the female first gave her when they meet. This sounded good another job was getting offer to her something, that sounded fantastic something more interesting then her book job gig. She looked straight into the females eyes using all the power left in her body to make herself look like she wasn't struggling with the pain and then she smiled and spoke. "Why yes, yes I do."

Painite smiled.
"That's a good choice," she all but cooed.
She focused then, her expression going as serious as it had been yet. There were few times that called for her undivided attention, but this was one of them. She did not want to torture the girl by not using enough Chaos to corrupt her, nor did she want to turn her into a youma by using too much.
She was used to this, though, and felt she had a sixth sense for it now. She knew what she needed to do almost before she did it.
She guided the darkness that fueled her into the starseed she gripped so delicately in her lithe little hand. She was literally holding someone's life in her palm, and that fact never really escaped her, no matter how many times she did it. Sometimes that was the point, when she was pulling them out of people. But this time, she was making a new member of the Negaverse, and she focused on that.
The Chaos slid into Abbott's starseed like it always belonged there, as Painite knew it did. She was just the arbiter of fate in a place like this, guiding but not deciding. Someone in Abbott had made her an ideal choice, a potential that Painite saw and wanted, but sometimes she felt like she was just a conduit. It was a little outside her usual metaphysical scope, but she tried not to think on it too much anyway.
She pulled her hand out of her new recruit's chest when she knew she was finish, stepping back and feeling winded, but watching the newly awakened Negaverse Lieutenant keenly.
"What is your name, Lieutenant?" she asked, sounding every bit the General she was meant to be.

"Good choice" was all she heard, which in hopes meant that this female would draw her hand out of her chest and let the pain faded away. But instead it grew and she could feel the female hand reach further for something until the pain grew so much that she could careless where the female hand was.
She wince as her whole body shook. Not only did she feel pain but strength. She felt more powerful, more right and more knowing of any situation. As her starseed slid all the way to Chaos she smiled. Now it wasn't pain but strength and as Painite slid her hand out she smiled. Now stood Lieutenant Hopeite in full blow power. She looked herself over and smile. What a wonderful outfit to a wonderful new life. Something she would wear, it must of knew what she like. And to boot she had a cig in her hand already lit to smoke. She smile and gently took a smoke on her cig and answer the question. "My name is Lieutenant Hopeite" she said with a evil smile.

"Hopeite? Well, Lieutenant, welcome to the Negaverse."
Painite clapped the new Negaverse soldier on the shoulder, grinning ear to ear. It was always exciting to greet a new Lieutenant, and she loved to do so personally. Be there for their awakening. She felt connected to them, more than just camaraderie from working on the same team.
Maybe it was her maternal instincts kicking in.
"You have a lot to learn, but not tonight, I think," she was always a little tired following corrupting someone, and she found having them come back the next night allowed her to see their punctuality and ability to follow directions. Then she would give a crash course in all things Negaverse related.

The Negaverse. She liked the sound of it. It sounded a like the right job for her and not the one where the girls wore skimpy skirt, how disgusting.
She smiled happily as her general patted on the shoulder. It was nice for once that someone was happy that she was there. At her job, no one care she was there and yet she worked so hard everyday to make the bookstore was the best child's bookstore in town.
A lot to learn was right. She wanted to know everything and learn it like it was the back of her hand. She wanted to live it and make sure she was doing everything to her full potential. She looked up to her general and nodded. She understood that changing her to Hopeite must of took a lot of strength and she must of needed a good nights rest. "Is this goodbye for now, general?" she asked simply.Lithia_Brandon Maybe your post and this should be done?

"Goodbye for now, yes, but I will be after you soon. And you will meet many others, as well. Training is very important, Lieutenant, and I trust you will give it your all."
She smiled and waved her hand not quite dismissively as much as it was a wave good bye from close range.
"I will see you soon, my dear. Power up tomorrow night and I will contact you. Don't worry about that for now though. Have a good night!"
Painite laughed and bounced a few steps back, watching her and then she vanished. Teleporting was still her favorite method of getting around and making a point, of course. She was having a lot of fun and was looking forward to meeting up with her newest recruit soon, and setting her along her path.
It would be fun to watch her grow, and hopefully flourish.
