I just got thru watching the preview of this and I must say, I am impressed. I like this song. It is about time that they got something so upbeat. In fact, this seems almost new to me. It kind of reminded me of Hinoi Team. Not that it sounds like them but you have to admit that it's very Euro Beat-ish. The girls sound great from the 1 minute and 45 seconds that I just heard. Miki and Hitomi sound great as ever and I think Kouharu is starting to improve as well. I think the downside is that maybe the chorus is annoying but I think after repeated listenings, it will grow on me the way the intro to "How Do You Like Japan?" did.
As for PV, it looks plain. It's just them in a room with white lights. However, keep in mind that it's only the first two minutes and apparently there will be a manga element thrown in. The girls look beautiful. In fact, Hitomi and Miki look stunning. That may just be me since they are my favorites though. Again, Kouharu doesn't look as goofy as she has in the past and actually manages to look almost... attractive. She'll get there soon. And she also has her hair down for the most part. FINALLY! In fact, they all do. The only thing that's odd is the dance. It actually looks like a kid choreographed it but it's cute in a way and some of the girls look like they are having fun. I can't wait for the full version to be released. This is definetly a must buy. Wow I'm like really happy now.

I think it looks *really* cute.
Yossi sounds and looks fantastic (fangirl bias! >.> ), and I think the outfits look cute (Makoto especially, for some odd reason). ^^ The other voice that never ceases to amaze me is Takahashi.
The beat actually sounds very DDR/ParaParaParadise to me - in fact, the choreography looks kind of ParaPara (which, for anyone who doesn't know, is kind of like DDR for your hands/arms)
Basically, the preview convinced me to run over and order the single - because it sounds *that* fun to me. 3nodding

Ah so some one does come along once in a while.
Anyway, I agree on the Hitomi looking great part. Than again she has always been my favorite so yeah. It's good to see that they are starting off good this year.
The dance looked kind of funny to me but I want to see it more when the full version gets released. You know, I need to go pre-order this single too.

uh no the real para para is really boring. the dance in sexy boy is very energetic I think
and I love the song ^o^
It is really really great and I like it alot. it's better than the whole 7th album

Did you watch the videos I posted as ParaPara examples? The dancing style is pretty similar. Most ParaPara choreography does not do much more with the feet than keeping the beat by moving side to side - this is done in the video. Most ParaPara involves repetitive hand motions - this is done in the video too. And quite honestly, if you think ParaPara's not energetic... you probably haven't ever played it. o.O; Same thing goes for DDR. They take a LOT more energy than it looks like to the casual observer. I can't begin to count the number of people who will come up to someone DDR-ing, boast that it looks SO simple... and then completely die on the easiest of songs. sweatdrop I stand by my opinion. I think the choreography is either supposed to BE para para, or is VERY para para inspired. 3nodding

I agree that it looks it is para para. I never once thought of para para to be boring. I actually like it. It's true that it's a bit faster than say, Psycho le Cemu. They always have para para in their videos and they do it at the concerts as well. I must say that although para para looks easy it's not. I had a hard time trying it but I think it looks cool. I'm really liking this song though. Do you guys think that it's a good sing that they are starting of the year like this?

Is it the full length regular version of the PV or the Dance Shot. I ask because I know that the DS version had been released but I hadn't heard anything of the regular version.

So I finally got to watch the video on YouTube. Ilike this video. Like I have said before, all the girls are beautiful and they look like they are having fun in the video. The only thing that I must complain about I guess is the dance. Although they look like they are having fun, they also look a bit off at times. And I must say that some of them looked more energetic during "The Manpower" dance. And we all know just how energetic that dance was right?
