So i'm promoting myself, and my artistic ability is in poems...
not much of an ability but i'll take it.
so i will probably just post some random poems on here,
but if you want one for any reason please let me know before you take it.
Also if you want me to write one for you just post and i will do so. smile
Every two weeks on my pay day I will check the poll,
and write a poem about the desired topic
And! i will post a new poll.
The next date change is Nov. 22nd for me to change it
It can happen at any time.
It seems romance and a pencil tied, so it shall be a romatic tale about a writer and her pencil.
sorry i've been so busy lately.
I am not charging anything for these poems,
but if you like one or i write one specifically for you it would be appreciated
if you donate an item or gold.
again I am not charging but if you donate or such it would be appreciated
and would end up on my quest thread and on this thread.

Sharp Pains
As she drove the point home,
her emotions released causing bliss.
Yet all her friends saw,
was her uncontrolled hiss.
The pain she felt, both inside and out,
finally found relief that night.
But the cost for her bliss,
was a never-ending fight.
Her friends couldn't understand,
why she resorted to such a thing.
they just didn't understand,
why she was addicted to the sting.

A cool, calming color,
which causing soothing emotions.
Prussian Blue, known by many names;
Berlin Blue and Parisian Blue and also, sadly,
it's new name by crayola, Midnight Blue,
which I disagree with madly.
Why rename a color with such a name,
for the sake of history so lame.
Why change something wonderful,
for something so dreadful.
We all know the color,
we have used it at one time,
changing the name of this color
should be some sort of crime.
But for this color that was wrongfully treated,
dejected and forced to adapt a new name,
I support you no matter what you are called,
for your name change, you are not to blame. Tears of Blood For as my enemies lay dead before me
I shall cry tears of blood and continue to fight until no more remain.
The onlookers will tremble as they flee,
But none shall remain alive, or sane.
Yet i didn't cause this bloody war,
I wasn't responsible for this mess.
It was them who caused the first sore,
And them who shall be blamed for the rest.
What am i to do but retaliate against them?
what should i do to stay alive?
So now it will rain this bloody gem,
and i will stand up and survive.
And they will all fall in this war,
No matter how far they run,
because i will run more,
until all are undone.
Childhood A smell, so familiar, but exotic,
tempts you away from friends,
for memories, so chaotic. A simple saying, so often heard,
brings back thought of things,
that time has blurred.A time of building blocks,
of playing house, and making mud pies.
of mismatched socks.A childhood full of memories,
of love and skinned knees,
and homemade accessories.A place in your heart,
that will always be yours,

My heart racing ahead of it
the people pulse and thrive
unaware of what is happening
I look everywhere
my breath coming in gasps
trying to keep it together
as everything falls apart
He moves toward me
silent, and knowing
knowing i won't run
knowing that i don't want to
he gets closer and looks at me
his eyes full of triumph
he has found my weak spot
and he continues to squeeze it
the only thing that could stop me
the only thing that could change my mind
lays in his grip, unable to break free
with me able to save or destroy
but unable to choose
and aware as the time ticks by
that the one i love is hurting
because of my choices
and nothing i do now will help
except to trade me for him
so i resign myself
into this demons hands
and watch as my own personal world is destroyed around me
yet everyone else is unaware of what is going down
and i don't blame them for not knowing
i envy them for being away from this
but i know that it will change nothing to have them know

oh and i used midnight blue for the words... i tried finding the hex code for a Prussian blue, but no luck

I realized writing poems was something i was good at when my friends bet i couldn't write a love poem about her mechanical pencil (which happened to be yellow)
I wrote the poem and then read it to her (and her wonderful pencil)
