 Hey everyone~ Welcome to Liv's Lavish Birthday Bash!
Drink, dance, and above all....celebrate LIV~!
In another corner of the room was a DJ, hired from who knew where, thanks to Jerry. In fact, Jerry had done most of the extravagant preparation for the event. He wanted this year to be special for Liv, not only because in previous years the event had been very small, but also because of how the year had gone for her thus far. He felt she deserved something to take her mind off everything, something designed especially for her.
To top off the perfect setup, waiting to be unveiled near the other food and drink, was Liv's cake:
Soon, many of the Order members began to file in, taking part in the food, drink, and exciting music.**Don't forget, Liv's birthday is actually on the 24th, despite what Gaia says, and despite the Event dates**

Liv nervously paced her room, waiting for it to be time to head down to the ballroom. She had dressed in her extravagant outfit, Jerry having approved of it deeply when she showed it to him. She remembered the small squeak and clap he had emitted while jumping in the air at the sight of it. With a little sigh she checked herself in the mirror again, twirling around in a full circle before stopping to face it with her hands on her hips.
On top she had a lovely silken, brocade-pattered corset, made from a black material. It had a deep sweetheart neckline and no sleeves or straps. The top hem of it was cut in a flowery pattern, and it cinched her in very nicely, accentuating her every curve. Her skirt was made of a fine silk, in a soft pink color. Short in the front and long in the back, it had a small train, and the material was layered and ruffled. She wore a slightly longer skirt underneath, just to over the tops of her thigh-high fishnet stockings. Her shoes were tall, black stilettos, and white, silk gloves covered her hands and wrists. On her head she wore a thick, black, silk band complete with black and pink bow to match the rest of her attire.
Her golden locks were left down this time, cascading over her shoulders in a soft, shiny shower of curls. She wore a small amount of makeup, just enough to enhance the blue of her eyes and make them pop. She needed no blush, the natural color in her cheeks plenty prominent for her liking. Something Jerry had done to her skin for the evening made it shimmer, and she had no idea what he did to manage such an effect. She played with the necklace Jerry had just given her to accompany her new outfit, the small, pink, heart pendant smooth between her fingers as it slipped around on a silver chain. She shrugged a little and decided to let Jerry stay shrouded in cosmetic mystery, turning on her heels to head for the ball room.
Upon entering, she wandered around and started to say hello to people, all of whom gushed over how beautifully she was done up, giving her warm wishes for her Birthday.

Lavi stepped inside the ballroom, blinking around at the extravagant decorations that had been put up. Jerry had really outdone himself this time, even chartering the ballroom instead of the Common Room, which was usually used to celebrate birthdays. He brushed a hand through his hair, smoothing down the unruly strands, feeling like the red of it was somewhat offensive in the middle of all the soft pastel colors of the room. The same went for his vest and obligatory bow tie, which he'd donned on top of a neat pair of grey slacks. It hadn't exactly sounded like a very casual party. He crossed the room to where Liv was greeting party goers, smiling broadly as he reached her.
"Hey Liv. You look beautiful... happy birthday." Lavi kissed her gently on the cheek and handed her a large bouquet of an array of pink flowers, together with a small box of bonbons. "I think I clash with your decorations..." he chuckled, glancing around the room again, "although I got the right flowers, I think."

When Liv saw the shock of red hair approaching her, she was more than relieved. Thus far she had seen none of her close friends, and while she appreciated each and every person that attended, it was nice to see a warm, familiar face, "Lavi!" She she threw her arms around his neck and gave him a squeeze before pulling back with a large smile on her face, "Thank you. You look dashing, as always~" she pecked his cheek in return, "Don't be silly...the moment I saw your hair, I was incredibly relieved."
She pulled him to the side so they could be out of the crowd, wanting a break from the limelight. She finally got a chance to see what he was carrying in his hands, and her eyes softened at the perfectly small gift, "Oh, they're lovely! Thank you, so much. It's perfect," she gave him another hug and set the flowers and bon bons on a table designated for gifts, making sure to keep the flowers where they wouldn't get crushed. She really wanted to get them in a vase, but there was no way to do that in the thick of things.
She turned back to him again, broad smile in place, "Really, it's wonderful. Thank you," she rubbed his arm, "Are you hungry? Do you want some punch?" she asked quickly. Truthfully, Liv felt a little frazzled from all the people, compliments, and excitement. It wasn't anything she wasn't used to, but for some reason this evening it was leaving her a bit nervous and on edge.

Lavi smiled in relief at her positive response to his gift. He didn't really think you could go wrong with flowers and chocolate, but you never know. "You're welcome... I know my present was supposed to be keeping you from getting too drunk and looking after Luci, but I wanted to give you a little something extra."
He quirked an eyebrow at her as she rushed through her questions, offering him some punch. "Calm down... why are you so wired?" He grabbed her hands and turned the two of them on the spot in a little, silly dance. "It's your birthday, just relax~"

She laughed when he spun them in a silly dance, a small portion of her nerves calming, "I'm sorryyy...I don't know what it is, really...maybe it's this outfit. I feel so...exposed," she bit her lip and looked around the room before crossing her arms over her chest, "Kyle helped pick it, along with Jerry's instructions..." she puffed her cheeks out a bit with a frown, now realizing how stupid of an idea it was for her to ask Kyle to help.
"But it doesn't matter now. I'm here, and this is what I'm wearing...even if I look like more of a tart than normal...," she laughed at herself and shook her head.

Lavi tried and failed to suppress a scowl at the mention of the sandy-haired Exorcist, not at all surprised he'd choose an exposing outfit for her. Still, it wasn't quite as bad as he could have made it. "You don't look like a tart, Liv," he smiled reassuringly, shaking his head, "You look beautiful, don't worry about it. You always do."
He glanced over at the snacks and drinks table, already spotting a number of things he'd like to try. "I think I'll go have some of that punch now..."
