It could be worse. At least Twilight wasn't fanfiction that got published and then somehow on the NYT bestseller list.

I really don't know how the book got so popular. I didn't think there were enough people in the world who liked that type of story and writing.

From what I understand of Twilight: There's the whiners; those who enjoyed the book, but not the film; and the other whiners. Assuming us who've experienced neither are irrelevant in this case.

My sisters love the films. Not because they like Twilight, but for the same reason they enjoy Rocky Horror. It's so ridiculous it's funny.
