We all have a Facebook or know someone that does.
I found this pic and thought that I would do a repost and see what everyone says about it.

Freedom of religion pretty much takes care of this. At least in the U.S. In other countries, it varies.

This picture is hypercritical. It's saying we should be tolerant of same sex marriage while it's being intolerant of other's beliefs. This is why I can't stand things like this. It's backwards thinking. It's not equality when when the goverment gives rights to one groups by taking the rights away of another group.

I see your point, but there's a lot of gray area there. I mean that politically and solcially more than religiously. Although there is quite the stir in religious communities about whether it will continue to remain as unacceptable as it is, or if mainstream religious communities will at some point just go with the flow. As I personally don't care one way or another, I'm just a spectator on this one.

I think it's odd that no one mentions how several years ago the goverment tried to pass an anti-hate law. Under such law if a person was to say homosexualality was wrong or a sin they would be arrested. If it had passed then that would mean pastors would be arrested for saying homosexuality is a sin. It would have taken away the right of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. "Thus it's not equality when the goverment gives rights to a group of people by taking the rights away from another group." When your rights are taken away would you still be a spectator? For it's easier to fight to keep your right than to fight to get them back.

Hmmm... I wasn't aware of that one. Even finer to the point, as I see more clearly a violation here. Yes, an expression of one opinion should not be treated with any legal bias as opposed to another. And, naturally, if I see a violation of my rights I do tend to stand up for them. Been in court a few times for that over the years. Personally I support equal grounds. I agree with the OP picture to the extent that one person's choices, should not dicate the choices of others. For someone like me, it's simple. Freedom of speech requires a little backbone. You get to say your peace, but it also takes some minimal fortitude to hear the expressions of others. Problem is, when people want to limit the voices of others, whilst demanding their own voice be heard. And in some, cases, when they are not satisfied with the outcome, they may resort to shutting the other voices down to give their own voice emphasis. I understand the competition, I just don't agree with rolling the way they do it sometimes.

I like how we are practically saying the same thing right now.

Well, all things being reasonable, will reach a similar end. Sometimes the only difference is in which we foot we started on before we get there.

These things annoy me. Jesus taught "ye without sin, cast the first stone." I don't know bout you guys, but I'm all sorts of jacked up. It's not my place to judge these people, gay or not. However to just blatantly disrespect someones belief like this, and then wonder why they themselves are disrespected bewilders me. You get how you treat others. You treat others with blatant disrespect, you are going to get it right back.
