Carlisle: *looks at Sophia* getting yourself in trouble?
Sophia: *Nods a little nervously* Sorry.
Carlisle: I'm not the one who had kittens
Sophia: *Blushes* He... reminded me of when I was a kid....
Carlisle: *looks sad* I'm sorry I wasn't there to help
Sophia: *Shakes her head and blushes* Don't be Grandpa.... nothing bad happened.

Carlisle: Something must have or you wouldn't still be haunted by the memory *the grandpa not really phasing him, reminding himself he was a great grandfather too... god he felt old...*
Sophia: *Smiles softly and walks over to him before nuzzling his neck* It was the same day I met my mate for the first time... so it's not all bad.
Carlisle: *nods and offers a gentle smile* I'm glad then
Sophia: *Smiles against his warmth* Mummy told me a lot about you.... is it all true? *Looks back, wide eyes and curious* Did you really wade through knee deep water to save someone? Oh, oh! And did you meet a Prince?
Carlisle: *has to pause not sure what Alice had told her, so he took the safe road* I've met many people, and do you think your mother would lie to you? *he had done many things to save people though off the top of his head he couldn't remember meeting a prince*
Sophia: I was never sure if they were just bed time stories. *Chuckles* But they usually involved you.

Carlisle: *smiled at that and nuzzled her, their golden hair almost identical* hmmm no they must have been true, I'm far to dull for bedtime stories
Sophia: *Grins wider as if suddenly face to face with a hero* Mummy... she also used to say... *pauses and frown* Nevermind. *Looks around* Do you like it here?
Carlisle: *tilted his head* Ask what you wanted to, I don't mind... and yes, this is a good place I like it very much
Sophia: *Blushes* I was really rather sickly as a foal... they say I nearly killed my mother... *gulps a little at that, having overheard a conversation she hadn't meant to hear* Well, Mummy used to say that she knew you were watching over me... no matter how far away, because I was her little miracle child. *Sophia was well aware she probably should have died.*
Carlisle: *nods, knwing they had thought him dead* She's right, my family are whats most important to me, your mother and father, you, renesme, crown, eden.. all of you, your my family
Sophia: *Smiles again and kisses him* Then thank you. For saving my life.

Carlisle: *smiles and shakes his head* You did that all on your own *his nose tapping her chest over her heart* with this... This is what really saved you
Sophia: *Smiles, rather liking that idea. She often took her mothers stories for fact and filled with magic. As far as she was concerned Carlisle was magic.* Grandpa... *She started looking over to Heze and Haki* ...will he be ok?
Carlisle: *followed her gaze and nodde* Much like you his heart will save him with some help from us.... I think he is quite in love with her, not that either of them seem to know it. As long as he doesn't try to do to much too soon and as long as he isn't attacked again he will be good as new, though with a few scars to his name
Sophia: *Shuddered a little at the thought of scars* Shame. *She said quietly before smiling up at her grandfather again* But I agree. I think they are both in love with no clue about it. *Giggles remembering how she first came to realise it, after all she had been childhood friends with Kristan first*
Carlisle: *smiled down at her* Time wil ltell... but I feel sorry for her father, he seems ready to have a kaniption every time she smiles at him... It will be ok tohugh... all fathers have to let go eventually.
Sophia: *Frowned a little a word she didn't understand* Kaniption? *Tilts her head in question before giggling again* Yes... Daddy wasn't too happy. But I know after giving Kristan lots of questions he came around.

Calisle: *grinned* Kaniption... It means to freak out... Daddies never are, though I had to resign myself early on *not having had a leg to stand on when love bloomed for Alice, but then he had been glad of it when death came for them all... he had known Jasper would keep them safe*
Sophia: Does that mean that you didn't want to let Mummy go? *smiles innocently*
Carlisle: *shakes his head* Its not quite that... *he sighs* Watching your children grown up.... its over so fast.... one day your soothing tears from a scraped knee, and the next.... shes off getting a mate
Sophia: *Chuckles* Fair enough. *Though her expressions turns a little serious as she contemplates something.* I wonder if I will ever have children.... *blushes realising she said it out loud* Oh... please don't tell Daddy I said that!
Carlisle: *Chuckles softly* I don't see why, its a natural enough thought, I don't think he will be angry about such wonderings.. Besides, given your mothers troubles, its fair to be thoughtful about taking such a step, even if its a distant step as yet.... I can't really answer that though, I would say if you find the right mate then yes theres no reason you shouldn't
Sophia: *Blushes all the same but nods, in many ways she knew he was right... and his words were very much that of a 'doctor' almost clinical and distant. Still, she found herself whispering* I think he is right. He is.... the only one I want.

Carlisle: *looks at her* Ah... *smiling still though seeming a little sad, not that it really showed* Well if he is who you want and he loves you back then that should be all that really matters
Sophia: *Coughed softly and looked around desperate for a change of subject* Grandpa..... *She found herself saying, her accent suddenly similar to her fathers sourthern drawl.* ....what is your faviourite flower?
Carlisle: *tilted his head, pondering that* I would either have to go with sweet pea's or lilly of the vally.
Sophia: Sweet pea? Didn't know that had a flower... what does it look like? *She asked with genuine curiousity, her tail wagging from side to side, causing the long locks to drag across the ground and get a touch dirty.*
Carlisle: *nods and smiles, not sure how to explain what they looked like* Follow me *leading her off, not going far, knowing there was some growing near by, the scent of the sweet pea clear as soon as they got close* The sweet pea is that flwoer there, weapped around the tree trunk.
Sophia: *Sophia followed Carlisle without hesitation, knowing he would never betray her, knew that her parents trusted him with their very lives even to this day. When they wandered towards a tree with a plant wrapped around it she smiled* Oh....! *She chuckled softly and looked at her grandfather with a big smile.* Pretty.... *she scented the air* Smells... yummy.

Carlisle: *smiled and nods* its small, not very hard to grow and rather common, but it smells lovely and has so many colours
Sophia: *Nods and looks at it* What colours? *she asked curiously*
Carlisle: *chuckles* I think green is the only colour I've never seen them in and black
Sophia: *For a moment she went to frown, thinking he was crazy... only green.... but these were yellow... at least until he finished talking. Sophia blushed brightly at jumping to the wrong conclusion.* Oh.... well... *she smiled, recovering quickly* ....I think I would like to collect a rainbow of them for you!
Carlisle: *smiles and plucks one and tucks it in her mane by her ear* Beautiful ladies are teh ones that deserve the flowers, not old men like me
Sophia: *She couldn't help but blush and act a little coyly, and she also couldn't help her surprised softly spoken words.* You think I'm beautiful? *It wasn't a compliment she heard very often*

Carlisle: *nuzzles her* You sound surprised, no mares will ever be more lovely than my girls
Sophia: *She couldn't hide her smile at his words. His girls! He counted her as one of his girls. She giggled and moved closer to nuzzle him and kiss his cheek*
Sophia: *She nodded against him, trying to look up at her hair to see the new flowers, she wanted to blow the fringe from her eyes but didn't want to risk dislodging them* I know. I love you all too. *She beamed over at him* Even my brothers who are always mean to me. *She chuckled*
Sophia: *It didn't surprise her that her grandpa knew what she had wanted without her saying anything, and she was thankful that her eyes could see once more, wasting no time she looked up at the new flowers.* So pretty. *She grinned, spinning slowly in a circle and opening her wings to do a gentle dance move. She loved dancing and singing. Suddenly she stopped.* Grandpa... is it true? *She frowned* ...that some of us are leaving?
Carlisle: *nods slowly* Yes, it seems that way... Life is all about changes
Sophia: *She nodded softly, and tried not to frown though she was sure she failed* Will.....will you be leaving us again....?

Carlisle: *sighed* I don't know, I just found you all again... But Eden will need to stay with Chansra... Renesme and Crown will probably remain with her too... it seems again my famiy will be devided
Sophia: *Looks away a moment* Can't we.... can't we all go?
Carlisle: *nods* Yes I doubt they would send us away, but thats a choice for individuals to make
Sophia: *She moved closer to him again, burying herself into his neck* I don't want to lose you again.....
Carlisle: You never loose the ones in your heart *hugging her gently*
Sophia: But..... but.... *her bottom lip begun to wobble and she couldn't bring herself to finish. Instead she said.* Play with me?

Carlisle: *hugs her tighter* Of corse, if thats what you wat, but bottling feelings up wont make you feel better
Sophia: *Nodded softly* I know... but.... I would rather forget for now... and just.... well... enjoy being with my grandpa! *She smiled brightly at him and moved forward tapping him with her nose* TAG! *She giggled softly and taking off on her four pure Angeni wings*
Carlisle: *laughed softly, taking off after her, his larger wings spreading, gliding after her*
Sophia: *Wasn't the best flyer, having been prevented from learning until after her childhood sicknesses had passed, but she liked being in the air, liked the freedom and the breeze. Of course, right now she was focusing on other things.... or rather thing... her grandfather. With a snap of her wings she brought them in to her side and spun*
Carlisle: *watchedm his heart stopping for a moment as she spun, folding his wings in and diving after her*
Sophia: *She snapped them open again and turned to see her grandfather dive.... he was... magnificent. For a moment all she could do was gawp open mouthed at him* ...you.... you.... please teach me!

Carlisle: *opened his wings, snapping out the dice and shooting up again, his wings shifting as he spun in a short corkscrew, takign the speed off from his dive so he could hover next to her* If you want *tapping her with his nose* Tag *grinning looking very youthful and cheeky for a moment before shooting up on his large wings*
Sophia: *Her eyes watched as he swirled and moved around her, not minding getting tagged even as a mischievious grin crossed her features. She turned and started after him calling out,* I would like that!
Carlisle: *keeps climbing till he just spreads his wings and glides* You have only to ask me for anything Phi (phee)
Sophia: *She nodded at her grandfather, liking the nickname that left his lips, he was the only one to call her that but she liked it.* Will you please teach me Grandfather? *She asked again, trying to make sure to use all her manners.*
Carlisle: *Glided in lazy loops* Sure, just make me one promise and I'll teach you anything you want to know
Sophia: *Pouted a little but was curious and nodded.* Anything.

Carlisle: *smiled and shook his head at the pout* I just want one girl in my family that I know wont start setting me up with mares they know... I've seen the look i your mothers eye and in Renesme's
Sophia: Oh! *Sophia blushed and shook her head* I won't do that! I.... I'll even try and hold them off for you if you like? *She giggled softly*
Carlisle: *blushes faintly* Its ok, I think I can dodge it as long as its not all of them, if they start ganging up on me I've no hope
Sophia: *Moved towards him and bumped him softly sending him moving to his left.* Ok. Well.... I'll stand up for you Grandpa if you want! *Wiggles her rump so her sword rattles* Me and Saber!
Carlisle: *coughs a little* I'm not sure how my pride feels about my grandaughter being my knight in shining armour.....
Sophia: *Only wore it as a deterant, she had never actually hurt anyone and probably never could.* I wouldn't be.... more like.... *Thinks about it* your shining star? *giggles*

Sophia: *smiles and glides next to her grandpa for a while before looking down at the ground*
Carlisle: *looks down, having glided quite high* What are you thinking Phi?
Sophia: *Blinked a little in surprise and looked back over her Carlisle before chirping* Just that.... I would like to be able to fly like Angeni are known for.... but.... I.... well... *blushes* ....am not sure I can.
Carlisle: *shakes his head* Why not?
Sophia: *Looked away from him for a moment* I'm not strong..... or brave.... or.... well... what Angeni are.

Sophia: *She couldn't but ask* But how do you know....? Maion told me that breed doesn't matter. *He had been talking about Kristan all those years earlier when she had asked if they could be friends*
Carlisle: *smiles at her* Because I see everything you want to be in you already, just because you don't charge into danger... only a fool has no fear, its doing what needs done despite being afraid.... *his voice fading as this triggers a memory of the attack so long ago now*
Sophia: *She nodded about to smile when she saw an expression cross his face that she didn't like.... her voice nervous she spoke....* Grandpa....?
