Damir had been called by Kukai not long after his meeting with Lord Varian. His heart was lighter... until he saw what Kukai had wanted... His mother had not left this land without leaving behind more children. Daria, before the fight... had had five children.. Five... Damir was sure it had to be a new record...

But... Kukai could not raise them by himself... So Damir had taken one male, and two of the females, to bring home to raise where Daria had made her own home. Tears coated his eyes as he ushered the foals home, his mind mulling over their, very similar names... Calemirel... Karia... and Darrian.

After a day of moving, he finally made it back in Aila's lands. He called out to Cecelia, wanting her to come near to see what he had... without getting upset. "Kyrielle... these actually are my mother's... they... they look like her..." His mental voice cracked as he sent to his Chosen.. the grief clouding his mind. How was he going to raise his siblings... the way his mother would have wanted them to be?

Cale glowered up at Cece. "Who is she?" she whispered to her brother who was right at her side, where he should be. She felt safe with him and her sister close. And Damir of course as he was the size and muscle they needed. She eyed the female who she had to admit was pretty. Was she doubting Damir? She better not. He was wonderful as always and had adopted them.

Cecelia's eyes watered as she thought of the late Daria. "Oh Damir...I..can't imagine what you must be feeling...I...I will try to help with what I can..." She said as she inspected the blankets. The poor foals would never know what a wonderful mare their mother was, but at least they would be raised by their brother.

Darrian wiggled closer to Cale, "I..think thats his...mate..." He whispered back.

Damir breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you... Cece.. really... I.. I know I've messed up... but... I couldn't say no to raising... them... they're... my siblings... the... they're whats left of Daria..." He said softly as he cuddled all three blankets..

"She's pretty...." Karia whispered, not knowing that the female was very close, close enough to hear her muted voice.

Her siblings were awesome to let her get away with so much. She snuggled tightly in between the two and pondered the grass blades underneath her hooves for a bit. An ant busily crawling up one distracting her immensely, although she thought her sister in law was right and they would do great things, she just wasn't sure what yet.

Cecelia leaned into Damir. How were they going to manage this? She felt like she was stuck, of course she wouldn't abandon Damir again in his time of need, but how would she raise these children and not make it seem like she was trying to replace their late mother? That was a very fine line...

Darrian felt Karia shrink back and wiggled over between his sisters and poked Karia with his nose.

Damir nuzzled Cecelia, his ears pressed back against his skull. "We're all they have..." He whispered softly.

Karia giggled at her sister's antics. Perhaps this place with their brother wouldn't be so bad.

Cecelia had offered to take patrol for that day since Damir was helping with farm work today. She enjoyed the stretch of her legs. Just having finished her first round, she went back to the farm to take a rest and check on everyone. After her initial fears at raising the foals were gone, things had actually gone well and the foals grew up well. She smiled as she reached the edge of the clearing and saw Karia, waiting as usual. "Waiting on someone little sis?" She asked, always referring to them as her siblings so they never got the wrong idea.

Darrian ruffled his wings. He had been feeling a bit restless lately, just watching over everything. Seeing Damir doing farm work again, he trotted over to where he lay in the shade taking a break. "Damir? Do you need any help?" He offered.
