Zippeite was a sullen little nega tonight. The small figured lieutenant was sitting on a park bench absentmindedly making his 'weapon' light up and make swirly lines through the air.

He hadn't been doing much. There wasn't much he could be doing. But his reasoning for powering up tonight was less professional negaversing things and more personal. Having just narrowly escaped a fight with his dad regarding where he was going to be boarding this year at school, he just wanted to feel a little bit of power. Power being a powered up agent of Chaos afforded him. A cheap thrill.

He really thought being a negaverse agent would make things better, but in his civilian life he still got teased, he still got grounded, and still couldn't drive.

Being him was so hard, you guys. Like, you don't even know.

Just because Nysa had suffered a defeat at the hands of some corrupted senshi did not mean he would not patrol. He was still physically able to move about with little to no issue to his physical health, so there was no excuse. He did, however, carefully apply some makeup to cover up as much of his bruising over his eye as he could. It was still quite noticeable, so the lad also made certain that his hair draped over his injured eye so it would be less noticeable.

It obscured his vision slightly, but it wasn't like he didn't encounter this sort of vision impairment on a daily basis already.

It wasn't hard to notice this stray Lieutenant. His energy signal was weaker, but the constant lighting up and movement of his toy easily got the Squire's attention. Crossing his arms behind his back, Nysa wandered up to the park bench that was occupied by a young boy.

"...might I ask what it is you are fussing with, Lieutenant?" His tone was far more conversational than confrontational.

Zippeite turned, suddenly shocked at the proximity of the knight and how he couldn't have sensed him until now. Guess that's what you get when you're distracted. He immediately frowned, naturally, since they were supposed to be mortal enemies. Not that he looked especially frightening. If he had seen him before he heard him, he would've assumed he was a chick! How frou frou.

"My weapon, obviously," Just because Nysa was conversational didn't mean Zippeite would be civilized. Though for a moment he did seem a bit worried and kiddish rather than all sullen and teenager. "You're not gonna try an' fight me, are you?" But suddenly aware he was showing weakness, held his toy lightsaber like a baseball bat. "B-becau-use I'm pretty good with this thing!"

The response the boy gave him was that fitting of a boy. Sarcasm was never a tool to use if one wanted to show how mature once could be. He still remained in place, arms crossed behind his back, his gentle expression still remaining unaffected by the attempted threat.

"I had no intention of lifting a weapon to you, not a fist for that matter." His tone sounded more blatantly patient than anything, as if he was making certain to keep himself in check.

"I am just curious as to why you use a weapon that is more akin to a sword... as a blunt object in practice?" The stance which the boy took was more suited to that of a thug who was ready to crack skulls, not that of a budding swordsman.

Zippeite's expression went completely blank. What the whatnow? "I am so holding it like a sword. I mean, how do you even... swords, man."

He stood up straight and gave it a few wooshing swings in a very casual way, obviously mimicking a fight scene he saw in a movie or something else similarly unresearched. "I mean you just jab them with the pointy end, right?" Really, what else was there? "And it's not very pointy right now so..." He gave it another two handed swing, leaving a trail of lime green light in the air.

And it didn't occur to the little teen once that it was awkward discussing planned fighting tactics with a sworn enemy.

Whatever it was he was doing was quite showy, but not really an effective way to use a sword.

"I doubt that your 'weapon' is heavy enough to warrant treating it like a two handed sword versus a one handed sword. Plus your movements... if I have to be honest... would be rather easy to parry... though it would seem you would have no issue leaving yourself quite open for a few hits."

Of course, Nysa did not have any sort of fencing gear on him, but with his hand, he mocked himself holding onto a sabre and used the invisible weapon to cut a line against the boy's torso from where he stood.

"Defense is just as good as offense in all honesty. Does not matter how hard you swing if someone else beats you to the punchline first."

Zippeite frowned and stared at the fruity, weird knight for the longest time before he finally asked, "What's a parry?" Something named after someone with a worse name than him?

"I can use defense!" He said. Defensively, too. And then he followed it up with a few 'pew pew pew' lightsaber deflecting blaster shots moves. Of course there were not blaster shots to make the 'pew' noises but the toy was equipped with delightful motion activated sound effects, which was better than nothing.

He got cocky in his spastic display and attempted a spin kick at the air, which made him stumble all over upon landing and even giggle.

But he would never admit it was a giggle.

The way the boy phrased things just mentally made the lad cringe. The only hint of such displeasure at the works was the tiniest of creases forming at the corners of his eyes.

In a completely conversational tone, Nysa did something he usually was prone to avoiding.

He insulted the Lieutenant.

"I wonder if... I were to explain to you what parrying is... if you would even retain the information..."

The manner in which he carried on seemed like evidence enough that the boy would merely just find some childish thing to retort about and resume with his play-fighting. Even the Neptunian knight, who had no real training in the martial arts, was quite certain that attempt at a fancy kick was extremely flawed at best.

"Do you always have a stick up your a**?" Zippeite scoffed, still twirling his lightsaber. He was amazing, shut up, basically. He might've had a girl's name but at least he didn't look like one.

"I could learn, I learned this energy stealing stuff and everything," He sid, trying to sound insulting and defensive all at once.

"Interesting..."

By this time, Nysa had made the acquaintance of several agents of the Negaverse. Each had their own view as to what they were doing, some justifying it through some overly convoluted means. Yet, this boy was foolish enough to phrase things as he had.

"...You said 'energy stealing'... which would imply that you are aware that you are taking the energy from others without permission. An implication that you are aware that you are in the wrong."

He was watching the boy intently again, watching his posture for any sudden lashing out at him. People sometimes acted like such savages when the situation rarely called for it.

Zippeite just shrugged. No use calling it what it wasn't, right? Also, covering it up implied guilt and he wasn't sure he was capable of guilt. Hell, he killed his brother's pet tarantula for a prank, who cared about a little energy?

"So?"

"I just find it interesting. I think you are the first agent of the Negaverse I have met who has actually called what you do by what it actually is. No attempts at smoke and mirrors."

Despite how childish this Agent seemed, Nysa was quite pleased. If anything, he had just located a rather excellent tool for the future. A Negaverse agent who probably wouldn't lie about his true intents. It might not have seemed like much, but Nysa knew in the future this could come in handy.

"Well, Lieutenant... I suppose I should leave you be for the evening... let you get back to... playing..."

No matter what, the Page just couldn't justify calling what this boy was doing as 'sparring' or 'training.'

Since he was in no hurry, the Page stepped back, then began to walk away.

"Yeah. Whatever, man," Zippeite rolled his eyes and waved the squire off. ******** him.

He was totally playing. And who cared? He figured, in his pity party, he deserved some time to play. This page, though, was a tool. And even though he wasn't in the mood tonight, especially when the guy was walking away, he made a mental note to pound him next time he saw him.

It looked like an easy feat.
