A year after being born, she was kidnapped. Her kidnapper was obsessed with her mother, who was a dancer, and told her everything they knew about her mother as she grew up. At the age of seven, Her kidnapper was discovered and she was taken to live in different houses as a foster kid. Not liking that kind of life, she ran away at the age of nine and lived on the streets until she was taken in by a couple that couldn't bear children. They raised her well and taught her some martial arts as she grew up so she could defend herself. When she was around the age of fifteen, she was murdered as she was found by the person who kidnapped her as a baby while she was out walking. She was killed with many people watching, as the kidnapper attempted to kidnap her once again, but ended up killing her instead.
After her death, she met her parents again and lived with them, getting to know them. She learned more about her mother, about her father, and that she had a brother, whom she met two years later before their parents died. When her brother vanished, she lived alone once again, pretty much in isolation as she didn't want to take any chances in meeting any obsessive people like the one who killed her. Three years later, her brother came back for her, so she could be a shinigami with him.

Shikai Description: Zanpakuto blade becomes blood red and can turn into blood at will. It can be held in one hand and usually is. The longer the fight progresses the more she will become blood thirsty both to see it and taste it. She can change the shape of her sword to a spear, lance, anything of her choosing really since the blade is made of blood.
Shikai Ability: She can generate excessive amounts of blood and manipulate, animate, solidify and otherwise control it, whether the blood is her own or from her surroundings (blood-bank, hospital, battlefield), though not the blood inside other people.
