Edward Drake
Talu was standing above a cliff. staring down the makeshift waterslide, trying to get up the courage to go...but sadly her conscience was holding her back, Oh come on she thought my brother would do this in a heartbeat. She snorted and stopped her hooves angrily.

Bhaskar made his way from his adoptive parents and went to a place he and Hale had found when Isabell had taught them to swim. He was excited to be going, not at all thinking about how he was just going off by himself without telling anyone where he was going. As he arrived he saw a little red female sitting at the top, as if deciding whether to go or not. Smiling, he trotted up, his blue eyes blazing in greeting. "Salutations!" He called as he approached the female.
Edward Drake
Talu span, saw big gorgeous glowing eyes, started and fell on her bottom...right down the slide. She gave a very unevil like scream all the way down. "Ack." she said as she landed in the puddle on the bottom. She was soaked...on the bright side she went down the slide. But not in the fashion she had earlier imagined.

Bhaskar gasped as the female went sputtering down the nature made slide. "Are you okay?!?!" he called, peering over the edge at the female, struggling not to laugh. He jumped onto the slide and slid down, grinning in glee as he was covered in water. He giggled as he landed, not far from the red female. "I'm Bhaskar." He announced, looking at her happily.

Taly gave him a wtf pouty look that would have had her family falling over in stitches of laughter
My name is Talutah Tala."
"A pleasure," she ground out. How come he was so graceful??? and yah okay pretty ...she had to admit that.

Bhaskar grinned. "Talutah Tala... Gotta nickname?" He asked. Her name was kinda hard to pronounce... but he vowed he'd get it right eventually. "So whats up?" He asked playfully as he stood up, shaking out some of the water, feeling the now familiar weight of his budding antlers sticking to his head... Vaguely he wondered how big they'd get.. if they'd look anything like his father's when he grew.

"My nickname is Talu...what are those?" She asked curiously. Getting up on devilishly long stilt legs of doom she plodded over and inspected his head. "Interesting are you a deer?"

Bhaskar backed up, his eyes wide. "I most certainly am not a deer! I am an Azrein, like my father before me!" He got out vainly. His smile returned after a moment as he giggled. "Hale calls me Bhassie, Talu, if you would prefer that. And those are my antlers. My father has them, and my mother has wings."
Edward Drake
"I find antlers fascinating! Sadly neither of my fathers had them." She grinned back. "So my own chances were slim to none."

"Fathers? As in two?" Bhaskar asked with a tilt of his head. "And yeah.. You kinda have to have the... jeannss... as Mother said.. I know both Hale and Osprey are hoping they grow mother's wings.... I'm happy with my antlers.. Better to fight with!" He declared with a faked charge at a small bush, his head lowered so his antlers could stab at the air.

Talu's mouth fell open. He was a fighter too! how wonderful!
"Who are hale and Osprey?" she asked curiously. "Very powerful, she nodded at his thrust."

"They are my sisters! Hale lives with mommy, Osprey with dad and I live with Cecelia and Damir, and their Chosens." He answered grinning gleefully. He saw her glee at his fighting spirit and puffed his chest out vainly.
Edward Drake
"Chosens? what are chosens?"
She saw him puff up and had to supress a giggle

Bhaskar tilted his head again as his chest deflated. "Chosens? They are the two leggers that they are Bonded to. Damir's Chosen is pretty... for a two-legger... and Cecelia's, Thalanir, is cool. He's got pointy ears, and fights too! He's been teaching me how." He answered. "How do you not know what a Chosen is?"

 Edward Drake 11:04 pm "HUMANS?!" Talu hissed. Of all the stupid coincidences. the male that drove her crazy...was evil. The male that didn't KNEW HUMANS. What should she do? Run? Lash out? sulk? sulk...sulking was good. "Why do you know humans, cant you see how awful they are?" There was hurt in her eyes. Rebecca Pederson 11:07 pm Bhaskar stutters at the hurt in her eyes. He wasn't expecting such a violet reaction from her about that. "Humans? They... They aren't bad... They are nice.. and good... They feed us.. and take care of us.. unless we don't want it.. And they protect us from the Six.." He tilted his head to the other side. "Are.. you okay? Why do you think Humans are awful?" Edward Drake 11:09 pm "protect you...from the six..." Tears spread into her eyes. She couldn't understand why she was so hurt. Her whole life had been about avoiding humans, about hating them, about standing firm with her parents. But this male, was so sweet, and yet he was afraid of them and so afraid of her.. Rebecca Pederson 11:12 pm Bhaskar gave a small nod, but then, concern etched his face.. Why was she crying? He stepped forward. "Talu? What's wrong?" He asked as he touched her shoulder with his nose, trying to get her back to her playfullness from before. "Yes... The Six killed Damir's mother, along with many others... Including the Great Valdien.." He said softly... "Was someone in your family hurt by the Six?" Edward Drake 11:13 pm "I am the six. However neither of my fathers touched anyone, i know they would have wanted too. " Her heart broke as he touched her shoulder. Rebecca Pederson 11:15 pm Bhaskar backed up, his eyes wide as they stopped glowing, instead turning into a rather flat color. "Oh..." Was all he could get out. He didn't know what else to do.. What else could he do? She... was part of those that would kill him... Was she gonna hurt him now? "Are you gonna hurt me now?" He asked, almost fearful, though steeling himself in case he had to defend against her attack Edward Drake 11:16 pm "No. I do not hurt for no reason. And you have done nothing wrong. In fact i have had a good time with you. Better then i have had with any other foal." Rebecca Pederson 11:18 pm Bhaskar blinked. "Then.... what now?" He asked timidly, touching his nose to her shoulder again. He didn't want to leave her... leave this friendship.. She was the first foal he'd seen outside his family... and she was fun... Edward Drake 11:18 pm "I am sorry Bhaskar, for being from the wrong side of the tracks." Wait he hadn't left yet..."I want to see you again." Suddenly this was hugely important to her. His smile his glowy eyes, those antlers and his ...touch on her shoulder. Rebecca Pederson 11:20 pm "Don't be sorry... You can't help it..." he said softly.. He then thought about her other offer... suggestion. It could be fairly easy.. Damir was still doing damage control with Cecelia and also raising his new foals... and looking for Mona, since she had gone missing... "Okay.. When?" He asked finally, deciding it was possibly to slip away from the adults and humans Edward Drake 11:24 pm "Tommorow, I will be out for my pouncing lessons. And will sneak away. Father trusts me and will let me go. I'm sure Damir's mother...may not have... possibly deserved her fate, she was just trying to save her friend right?" Rebecca Pederson 11:25 pm Bhaskar nodded. "She did nothing wrong.. From what I understand.. In fact.. she didn't like to fight, is what Damir says... but when Valdien was attacked.. she had to defend him... because he would do the same for her.." He looked away. "She left behind five blankets... They won't ever know Daria.." He felt the horror in his heart.. the thought of never being able to know your mother?... it was heartbreaking. He shook the thought out. "Okay... Meet you here?" Edward Drake 11:26 pm "Five? really.. so many. I am lucky to have two fathers." "Yes here, thank you Bhaskar for not running, I will protect you with my life." Rebecca Pederson 11:28 pm Bhaskar smiled. "And I you... See you tomorrow Taluta Tala!" He called before bounding away, hearing the faint calls of Thalanir in the distance. Cecelia was probably worrying about him about now. Edward Drake 11:29 pm Talu's eyes widened at the sound of the human, and she spooked and fled right back to her fathers cave and into Jeppe's lap. Running right under Avalanche to get to him.

Rebecca Pederson (9:09:40 PM): Bhaskar crept away from the sleeping adults, the humans in the fields working on the other side of the house. Bhaskar crept until he felt he was a safe enough distance away before he went into a full out runn, his short mane flapping behind him like a banner as he went to their spot. he couldn't wait to see her again
Edward Drake (9:10:55 PM): Talu dragged herself out from under her sister and skittered out the cave door. There she calmy walked off as she would if she were simply going to practice hunting and pouncing.
Rebecca Pederson (9:17:06 PM): Bhaskar made it to the little slide and sat down on a stone, as if he was a dog and waited. After a few moments he chanced calling out for her. "Tallluuu?" He called, his voice calm and barely wavering, although he was slightly scared of running into her fathers.
Edward Drake (9:18:37 PM): Talu raced into the field and skidded into a bush. Untangling herself she called back. "Here!' She had to pick all the little brambles out of her mane, finally bramble free she puffed up and presented herself.
Rebecca Pederson (9:21:47 PM): Bhaskar grinned as he raced up to her. "You made it!" He grinned happily. "So... you didn't change your mind about.. me?" He asked after a moment, looking back towards his home and where the humans were, knowing she'd get his reference
Edward Drake (9:22:31 PM): "No, why would I do that? We had fun yesterday. And you bite less then my brother."
Rebecca Pederson (9:33:40 PM): Bhaskar smiled. "You can never be sure..." He said softly, his eyes showing the hurt and pain in his eyes from being left once before. The pain from his mother leaving him was still fresh.. still painful... He didn't know if he could actually bear loosing Taluta if she decided not to be with him anymore.
Edward Drake (9:37:12 PM): "What happened to you?" This time it was she who saw the hurt in his eyes. "Something is still fresh, still bleeding in your eyes."
Rebecca Pederson (9:40:54 PM): Bhaskar sighed and looked away. "My mother... she was.. very run down... taking care of both me and Hale.. took its toll on her.. so she gave me.. away..." He said slowly.. painfully... The feeling of rejection burned in his chest, and although he knew it wasn't personal.. it still hurt.
Edward Drake (9:43:56 PM): Talus hair stood on end. "What about your father?"
Rebecca Pederson (9:47:04 PM): "Mother and Father weren't lifemated... Father took Osprey, mother took me and Hale.. but couldn't handle us both..." He answered softly, looking down at the ground beneath his hooves
Edward Drake (9:48:09 PM): "I am sorry, my parents had three of us, but they are powerful and lifemated... I wish I could do something for you to ease the hurt but... i know of nothing."
Rebecca Pederson (10:11:16 PM): Bhaskar shook his head. "It is okay, Talu.. nothing you could have done..." Bhaskar avoided the dark place his mind wanted to go, thinking about his family, and instead focused on hers. "What would your fathers do.. if they found out about me?" He asked softly, hiding his fear
Edward Drake (10:12:36 PM): "Probably try to eat you. i dont think my sister would mind but my brother might eat you too
Edward Drake (10:12:53 PM): hence why i will fight for you with my life."
Rebecca Pederson (10:14:33 PM): "I don't want you getting hurt though..." He said softly... almost fearful of her reaction.. Eat him? They.. they actually did that? He gulped
Edward Drake (10:16:02 PM): "Bah i am their daughter, they hurt me and they defeat their own purpose >.>"
Rebecca Pederson (10:19:45 PM): Bhaskar sighed. "I don't wanna be eaten either..." He looked away, watching the bugs fly around int he afternoon sun
Edward Drake (10:20:59 PM): " I ...I want to meet your family. You probably don't want to meet mine for a long long time." She giggled.
Rebecca Pederson (10:21:40 PM): Bhaskar looked at her, surprise in his eyes. "You... you do...?" He watched her carefully. "The... the humans are my family too.... And they will know about you the second I introduce you to Damir or Cecelia...."[
Edward Drake (10:25:46 PM): Wariness kept in her eyes. "As long as I dont have to see one."
Rebecca Pederson (10:26:47 PM): Bhaskar's hope fell... He really desparetly wanted her to get over her fear... just to see how.. not evil they were... but he'd only known her two days... "I... I dont know how else to get around Damir and Cece... they pretty much stay on Aila's land.. and Aila, Thalanir, and Kyrielle are always there..."
Edward Drake (10:27:23 PM): "I cant see a human yet, i would freak out and run, and you dont want that embarrasment do you?"
Rebecca Pederson (10:28:00 PM): Bhaskar sighed and shook his head. "I'll figure something out, Taluta..." He said softly after a moment, the wheels in his head speeding
Edward Drake (10:28:55 PM): She inched closer and nuzzled his face, "thank you for understanding. If we dont run we fight when cornered and i would not have someone get hurt by accident from my fear."
Rebecca Pederson (10:29:56 PM): "Will.. you try? Someday?" Bhaskar asked. "I mean... I live with them.. and they wouldn't hurt you.. unless you hurt them.. and even then.. it would hurt them to hurt you..." he said softly, nuzzling her back.
Edward Drake (10:30:40 PM): "I will try, some day. But right now, my legs lock and my heart clenches to think about it." ..."TAG!"
Rebecca Pederson (10:31:13 PM): Bhaskar fell over, and a bewildered expression crossed his face."Uh... wut?"
Edward Drake (10:31:43 PM): "Your it." she said gleefully, "catch me!"
Rebecca Pederson (10:32:04 PM): Bhaskar tilted his head in his own classic way. "I... don't understand?" He asked confusedly.
Edward Drake (10:32:29 PM): "YOU are supposed to chase me till you can tag me back, then i chase you."
Rebecca Pederson (10:33:21 PM): Bhaskar watched. "Uhm... why?" He asked after amoment, trying to see the point of the game
Edward Drake (10:33:50 PM): "Um cause its a game?"
Edward Drake (10:41:36 PM): "I cant believe you have never played tag your deprived!"
Rebecca Pederson (10:44:08 PM): Bhaskar gave a small laugh. "Uhm.. okay.. I chase./... then... tag you back?" He asked to clarify
Edward Drake (10:44:34 PM): "Yes" Talu took off, anymore explaining and he would tag her flat
Rebecca Pederson (10:49:22 PM): Bhaskar took off after her, struggling to catch up... Man she could run. Finaly he was able to tag her.. of course... he didn't fully understand and completely tackled her. "Tag!"
Edward Drake (10:50:32 PM): Talu laughed so hard her stomach hurt. "That was well done Bhaskar, you didn't have to tackle but full contact is fun. You are quite fast to catch me."
Rebecca Pederson (10:54:15 PM): Bhaskar laughed with her. "I thought I played right..." He said grinning back at her like a idiot.
Edward Drake (10:57:07 PM): "Sure you did." She grinned back. He was so pretty and silly. She adored it.
Rebecca Pederson (10:57:59 PM): Bhaskar chuckled. "Sooo... you're it?" He asked to clarify, trying to get ahold of the game and ignore the weird... cooty like feeling that crawled over his back.. in a good way... not a bad way
Edward Drake (10:58:25 PM): "Yes im it, now run from me puny foal!"
Rebecca Pederson (10:59:00 PM): Bhaskar gasped. "I am not puny!!" Then he realized she was kidding so he ran off at top speed to stay away from her tackle
Edward Drake (11:06:30 PM): She raced after him. She was tired but she put up a good fight. "Whew, " she reached out with her nose and tried to catch him. But her front legs caught on his back and she tumbled into him the same way he had her a moment ago.
Edward Drake (11:06:50 PM): "Caught you."
Rebecca Pederson (11:08:17 PM): Bhaskar fell and tumbled forward, his legs tangling with Talu's as he laughed. "Nice one, Taluta Tala..." He said warmly, his blue eyes glittering and glowing brightly/
Edward Drake (11:09:52 PM): Her yellow eyes were bright with laughter. "I suppose that is the way to do it."
Rebecca Pederson (11:13:58 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "So what now?" He asked curiously, wondering what other things she had up her metaphorical sleeve
Edward Drake (11:14:27 PM): "erm a break from running for sure. So what is your favorite color?"
Rebecca Pederson (11:15:35 PM): Bhaskar blushed, of course she couldnt see it through his black hide. "Uhm... yellow... like... your eyes..." He stuttered out embarrassedly
Edward Drake (11:16:13 PM): "Yellow is a good color, in a coincidence mine is blue like bright water."
Rebecca Pederson (11:20:24 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "Blue is a good color.." He said hapily
Edward Drake (11:22:16 PM): "It is, " she said happily.
Rebecca Pederson (11:22:55 PM): Bhaskar heard his name being called. "Uhm.. I should go back... Im probably.. in trouble now..." He said slowly, wincing at the sound of Damir's angry voice.
Edward Drake (11:23:40 PM): "What can he do to you, your old enough to be on your own for a bit." That meanie taking her friend away for a scolding no less.
Rebecca Pederson (11:24:24 PM): Bhaskar sighed. "He is watching me... He might as well be my dad... and I have to obey him." He said... not exactly sure how to explain it. "Its better to go than to be in trouble.."
Edward Drake (11:24:48 PM): "Yes that is true, I wish you didn't have to go."
Rebecca Pederson (11:25:38 PM): Bhaskar bumped his nose against her shoulder. "I'll see you again. Promise."
Edward Drake (11:26:21 PM): "Okay." she said. She would miss him immensely.
Rebecca Pederson (11:26:47 PM): "Bye..." Bhaskar said, standing there awkwardly for a moment before rushing off to face Damir
Edward Drake (11:27:15 PM): "Goodbye Bhaskar." she called and then whispered it again to herself.

Edward Drake (8:41:07 PM): Talu non chalantly slithered away from the clearing to venture out. To her father she was scouting. To her she was searching for her dark friend with the glowy eyes. When she got to the his side of their meeting place she whispered. "Bhaskar? Bhaskar are you there?"
Rebecca Pederson (8:44:47 PM): Bhaskar was running late. He'd been on time.. until he got distracted.. though it was hard to get distracted with his Talu on the mind. But today he felt like doing something special. So he went to Uncle Jonda's favorite patch of Lilies, and debated on which to pick.. they were all so pretty. But finally he found the perfect one. It was white with red lines running through it, making a pretty striped pattern. He smiled, picking it before running off happily to their place.. Halfway there he began to worry though.. what if she didn't like flowers? He worried and stopped, wondering if he should just leave the flower... This was a hard desicion... He huffed... and finally just decided to take it.. How horrible could it really be if she didn't like it? So finally he made it to their spot, heard her calling, and shyly walked up to her, holding out the lily in his teeth.
Edward Drake (8:48:40 PM): Talu could barely see his dark form through the trees. But what was that bright thing he was carrying? OH a flower. A delightful flower. A lily she thought and red and white. "Hello," she said. "You have a lovely flower." He was so different from Me'urra who used his pet names and silver tongue.
Edward Drake (8:49:45 PM): Somehow Bhaskar was free'er more right there. It was odd to compare two different males this way.
Rebecca Pederson (8:52:40 PM): Bhaskar handed her the flower with a shy sort of smile. "Its.. uhm.. For you.." He said softly, his glowing blue eyes sparking with some emotion he didn't quite know just yet, but that possessed him to give her nice things. He didn't know what it was, but it couldn't be bad, right? "Uhm.. Do you like it?" He asked
Edward Drake (8:57:46 PM): "Its for me? Its so beautiful, thank you so much!" She was absolutely delighted. This was such a sweet thing. Tears threatened her eyes but she pushed them back. The petals were delicate and yet stout. Each time a flower bloomed it seemed to come out perfect. "Where did you get it?"
Rebecca Pederson (9:00:11 PM): Bhaskar blushed and looked away at her praise. "Uhm.. just.. My uncle's patch... Would.. Would you like to see them?" He asked looking back up at her, his eyes somewhat hopeful, a smile plastered on his face. He loved it when she was exuberantly happy, but he always worried he would mess up, and he didn't know why
Edward Drake (9:11:04 PM): "Yes I would but are the humans there right now?" She was still wary about them. "How many lilies are there?" She asked curously, there were few flowers that bloomed in the heart of the desert, besides the brave rose and cactai. Some places flourished in the rain.
Rebecca Pederson (9:14:15 PM): Bhaskar shook his head. "There is only one human that knows about Jonda's flowers, and she doesnt go near it unless he takes her there. You'll be safe." He said, his voice ringing with truth. He would never place her in an uncomfortable position, or make it where she was afraid, no matter how silly her fear was. He smiled and motioned at her to follow him. "Come on. They're this way."
Edward Drake (9:17:06 PM): "Ohh" she said gleefully and bounced after him. "Flowers flowers flowers," her own personal flower hung out of her mouth bobbing jauntily as she trotted along.
Rebecca Pederson (9:18:05 PM): Bhaskar giggled at Taluta's antics as he led her around the small pond to the big bushes of lilies of various colors and sizes. "Here we go. The Flower Patch." He annouced, waiting to let her approach first
Edward Drake (9:20:08 PM): "OHH its gorgeous! She nosed a dark blue lily, from what she could recall they were beyond rare. "So many and so many colors! This one here is rare. Blue flowers are uncommon. Wonder where the tubers came from. And over there is a red one and a gold one and " she huffed out a contented sigh. "Flowers..."
Rebecca Pederson (9:21:07 PM): Bhaskar giggled. "I guess you like flowers?" He asked with a small laugh as he poked the blue flowers. "Uncle Jonda would never let anyone pick the blue ones.. I guess that's why." He said off handedly as he watched her content sighs.
Edward Drake (9:23:11 PM): "Yes, yes I do. Probably. Thank you for showing me this." She nosed his neck in thanks. "We don't get flowers like this in the desert."
Rebecca Pederson (9:26:31 PM): Bhaskar blushed again. "Anything..." He said watching her softly. "Uhm.. yeah.. usually they wouldn't grow here... but the pond allows enough water to.. keep them living..." he said, slowly swallowing to keep his words from jumbling up together
Edward Drake (9:27:56 PM): "That is awesome. Perhaps I will try to grow some desert flowers." She eyed him, wondering why his sentences were so slow. Perhaps he had a sore throat or something.
Rebecca Pederson (9:28:43 PM): Bhaskar smiled and cleared his throat, trying to shake off his awkward nervousness that came from... well no where. "Make sure you have plenty of water though... or else they won't survive." He said smiling
Edward Drake (9:29:58 PM): "Mhmm the flower season is not long at all, but you should see how crazy they get when it rains. It looks kinda like this but not with the deep reds and almost no blues."
Rebecca Pederson (9:30:54 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "What colors then? Yellow and white? Those are pretty, I think. Though.. I really like the red ones..." He said with a small chuckle as he lightly bumped her shoulder with his nose in a playful manner
Edward Drake (9:33:06 PM): She grinned smugly at him. "Mostly orange. But with lots of yellow and white too." Talu backed up suttley. Then ran forward and clobbered him. Using her muzzle she tickled him ferosciously. "Muahahahaha."
Rebecca Pederson (9:34:21 PM): "That's- aakdghjadn." Bhaskar fell at her attack, then the tickling sensation started and his mind panicked, causing him to giggle and kick with his legs, though he tried no to be too hard so he wouldn't hurt his friend. 'AHHG... Stoppp!!!!! Taaa.. Taluuu..."
Edward Drake (9:36:46 PM): "But your giggling is so cute! You can't help it!" She giggled too and soon couldn't keep up her tickling when the funny noises and pleadeing continued.
Rebecca Pederson (9:39:06 PM): Finally!! The tickling stopped, though Talu's giggling kept Bhaskar giggling, and they just went in a giggling fit that Bhassie couldn't stop. It seemed like forever before he stopped and caught his breat, then he looked at her with a pout. "My giggling is not /cuuute/." He protested
Edward Drake (9:43:34 PM): "Your right, its adorable. Your adorable. Might as well admit it." She grinned.
Rebecca Pederson (9:48:21 PM): Bhaskar rolled his eyes and gave a small, VERY foalish growl. "Watch it missy..." He said, his eyes glowing in a playful yet menacing way.
Edward Drake (9:48:54 PM): "Pfft, come get me tiger. Till you catch me, you and your giggle will remain adorable~."
Edward Drake (9:49:36 PM): She took off, carefully avoiding the flower patch. Eventually he would catch her but until then she would delightfully tease him about his giggle.
Rebecca Pederson (9:52:38 PM): Bhaskar growled and clambered to his hooves, and took off after her as soon as he was sure he wouldn't tumble over. "I'm going to get you..." He threatened as he chased her. He was delightfully happy to find that he was able to keep stride with her, albeit a tail length behind.
Edward Drake (9:53:49 PM): "Ack," she squeeled, soon his long legs caught up, to which end she couldn't stop giggling herself. "Arggh. I can't giggle and run!."
Rebecca Pederson (9:56:08 PM): "Good!" Bhaskar hollered up at her as her giggles trickled back. He was able to finally reach her, and he tackled her to the ground, his chuckles catching him as he couldn't catch his breath. He then took his turn tickling her back.
Edward Drake (9:57:32 PM): "Ack, not meeee not meee! AHAHAHAHAHHA! hic." she laughed and squirmed and laughed more. "HEEEEEEE," she inhaled. "OXYGEN I needs it!"
Rebecca Pederson (9:59:33 PM): Bhaskar giggled and pulled back, still breathing heavily from his run. "Better?" He asked after they had both been able to calm down.
Edward Drake (10:00:58 PM): She inhaled deeply. "Yes much." The air was laced with his scent. Somewhat woody which settled her nerves and made her feel relaxed. "Ahh this is so much fun."
Rebecca Pederson (10:01:56 PM): Bhaskar gave a small chuckle. "You're cute..." He murmured after a moment of watching her softly.
Edward Drake (10:02:41 PM): " I thought we established that you were the cute one." She widened her eyes and stared at him comically.
Rebecca Pederson (10:03:13 PM): Bhaskar shook his head. "You established... I never agreed." he teased back, his eyes glaring at her tauntingly.
Edward Drake (10:03:48 PM): "Brat." She said.
Rebecca Pederson (10:04:58 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "I could say the same about you.. though it wouldn't be entirely true." he countered back.
Edward Drake (10:06:33 PM): "Huh I am a brat, what would make you think otherwise? or should I prove my superiority again and tickle you into a giggle fit?"
Rebecca Pederson (10:09:50 PM): Bhaskar glared at her. "You woul-"
"Bhaskarrr!!!"
Rebecca Pederson (10:10:40 PM): Bhaskar looked towards the sound of his name, recognizing the sound of Damir. His heart fluttered in panic as he looked towards Taluta Tala, to see what she would do as the stallion, his adopted dad, came closer
"Eep," Talu dived behind Bhaskar and did her best to hide behind him. This new stallion was not a human at least and he had a familiar voice, usually the voice who called Bhaskar away from her.
Rebecca Pederson (10:30:27 PM): Bhaskar grimaced as Damir came closer, sure that Talu hadn't seen the human yet. "Taluta...ma.. maybe you should go.. His chosen is just behind him..." he said, his eyes worried for his friend as he refrained from calling back out to Damir and Thalanir.
"Bhaskar. Hey. There you are." Damir said as Thalanir came up beside the stallion, his eyes peering over Bhaskar's back, spying the little filly, though he didn't recognize her.
Edward Drake (10:31:36 PM): Talu hissed and practically crawled under Bhaskar. The human was to close, she was safest underneath Kar.
Rebecca Pederson (10:33:53 PM): Bhaskar grimaced. "Damir.. Thal... this.. is my friend, Talu.. she.. doesn't trust humans..." He said emphatically. Thalanir held up his hands and stepped back at the words, he didn't want to stress the filly out.
"I'm sorry, Bhassie.. Talu? That's a pretty name... I don't mean to frighten you..."
Damir stepped in front of his Chosen as he eyed the filly. "Where are you from, Talu?"
Edward Drake (10:35:27 PM): Talu's ears swiveled back and forth at the human voice...well it didn't sound awful. She peeked out from under her antlered security blanket, her yellow eyes blazing into Damir. "Someplace I'm sure you don't want to know."
Rebecca Pederson (10:39:25 PM): Bhaskar peered under himself to look at Taluta Tala, his eyes asked her if she was okay. "Talu... This is my adopted dad, Damir, and his Chosen Thalanir."
Damir watched the filly closely. He had a bad feeling about her.. but if she was the one Bhaskar had been sneaking off to see for a little over a month now.. could he really... take Bhaskar away from her? "Where? I'd like to know... Bhaskar is my responsibility and I need to know he's safe... Where's your parents?"
Edward Drake (10:43:38 PM): "In the middle of the desert." She looked at Bhaskar with big eyes. She couldn't loose him. She was HAPPY around him. She was less violent near him. Damir could try. But she would fight.

Rebecca Pederson (8:02:37 PM): "Corn, and vegetables. Aila grows her own food and Thalanir helps her hunt... She also grows food for us. Oats and Wheat.."
Edward Drake (8:03:14 PM): "Mmm its been ages since I had oats."
Rebecca Pederson (8:03:36 PM): Smiles "You can come have some anytime you want, Taluta... You are always welcome."
Edward Drake (8:06:33 PM): "maybe if I watched?"
Edward Drake (8:06:57 PM): " I could stay on the edge of the feild and watch?"
Edward Drake (8:07:19 PM): "And have some oats... I adore them, although they make me hyper."
Rebecca Pederson (8:11:40 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "Sure." He smiled and motioned for her to follow
Edward Drake (8:14:45 PM): Talu followed him again. oats sounded delightful, and she thought she might enjoy learning how he helped
Rebecca Pederson (8:18:07 PM): Bhaskar smiled as they got closer and closer to Aila's fields. Some other azrein could be seen in the distance, including Karia and her siblings. Bhaskar trotted up to Aila who was waiting for him by the field. He looked back and smiled at Talu as Aila slipped a harness over his shoulders, and hooked him up to the plow. He was young, but resilient, and the eart was already softened from last season.
Edward Drake (8:19:38 PM): Talu: pursed her lips. Was he a slave? No no this was helping.. well he must be very strong to do so. And that smile was reasuring. She curled up on the ground and watched.
Rebecca Pederson (8:20:28 PM): Damir wandered over to Talu as Bhaskar pulled the lightweight plow through the fields. "Good afternoon, Taluta Tala." He greeted softly.
Edward Drake (8:30:50 PM): "Good day Damir, How have you been?" she asked in a friendly voice.
Rebecca Pederson (8:53:51 PM): Damir nodded. "Fairly well. Would you like some oats while you wait for Bhaskar to finish?" He asked kindly. Bhaskar was about a quarter of the way done. It wasn't a very large field.
Edward Drake (8:54:17 PM): "Oh yes please." She smiled. "Where is the rest of your brood?"
Rebecca Pederson (8:57:46 PM): Damir grinned. "They are with Rameses and his brood today. I figured he owed me and Cecelia a day off." He answered kindly, leading her to the trough where they had enough oats for everyone, and then some.
Edward Drake (9:06:47 PM): "There is so much of it, the buisness must be very profitable. Thank you for the offer. Its been so long since I had oats."
Rebecca Pederson (9:10:15 PM): Damir nodded. "Whats ours is yours, Talu, so long as you are a guest of Bhaskar." He answered, watching her carefully. Jonda approached carefully, with his patrol report.
"Damir. Just got back, Cecelia is going out now and I already told her. Loren is back in the area, though it looked like he was passing through. And then there was another grey male I am not familiar with just off to the south."
Rebecca Pederson (9:10:43 PM): Damir nodded. "Very well. Thank you Jondayla." Jondayla dipped his head before trotting back over to his mate.
Edward Drake (9:11:41 PM): She took a nibble or two, they were definately as good as she remembered. lauren was indeed close and the other male was probably her father. Lucky for this bunch while she was with them they were in little danger but they did not know that.
Rebecca Pederson (9:12:31 PM): Bhaskar finished and trotted over, the harness still on. It would come off later when Aila had gone over and planted the seeds. "Damir, Talu.. Having a good talk?"
Edward Drake (9:12:59 PM): "Yes we are, you look good in the leather." She giggled at him.
Rebecca Pederson (9:13:33 PM): Bhaskar rolled his eyes as Damir chuckled and made his exit. "Why thank ya. You doing okay, though?" He asked softly so no one else could hear.
Edward Drake (9:14:17 PM): "I seem to be okay. Its nice to watch work. It doesnt hurt your back does it?|
Rebecca Pederson (9:15:11 PM): Bhaskar shook his head. "No. Its very easy, and if it started to hurt, Aila would take it off immediately." He assured her softly. "Look, you can even pick it up off of me. Its real loose." He smiled softly.
Edward Drake (9:17:59 PM): Talu looked a little skeptical but took another mouthful of oats
Rebecca Pederson (9:19:09 PM): Bhaskar gave a small chuckle. "You still don't trust them.. and thats okay.." He said as he went down for a mouthful of oats
Edward Drake (9:19:30 PM): "I trust their food, it is delicious."
Rebecca Pederson (9:19:53 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "You are welcome for dinner any time." He said, still chuckling.
Edward Drake (9:20:30 PM): "the fact i can watch means im getting better. I like Damir, he is very quiet."
Rebecca Pederson (9:22:40 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "He is very... solid... He's messed up alot... in the past... Has two children with another female... Hurt his lifemate Cecelia... almost lost her... but got her back... Then took in his mother's children while still dealing with her death... And then set up a patrol between him and Jondayla to protect everyone... And took me in... He.." Bhaskar shook his head, his eyes watching Damir in the distance with respect and admiration
Edward Drake (9:25:32 PM): "Wow, thats a lot of stuff to go through, and hes not even that old."
Rebecca Pederson (9:26:42 PM): "To begin with he had it hard to... His mother, Daria.. wanted to lifemate to another female, Mira.. He had too moms.. Well.. Mira... ran off.... and it was only him and Daria for a long time... He promised to protect her and never let her be hurt like that again.. and then she died... He's old for his age, Taluta... I want to be as strong as him..."
Edward Drake (9:28:01 PM): "I dont want you as scarred as him though, you dont deserve it. And neither did he, i dont think."
Rebecca Pederson (9:28:47 PM): Bhaskar smiled at her. "Well no.. not like that." He chuckled. "You should meet his son and daughter someday. Kamryn, his son, looks JUST like him. and his daughter Mona, is soooo pretty."
Edward Drake (9:29:52 PM): "Your not related are you? I mean if Damir is that handsome im sure his son and daughter are beautiful too. You yourself have a charm."
Bhaskar laughed. "No. I'm not related. My mother and sister left me under his and Cecelia's care." His eyes twinkled and sparkled. "But... Kamryn is seeing someone else, and Mona is..." He sighed and shook his head. "She's just really going through abit of a rough spot in the romanch department..."
Edward Drake (9:32:23 PM): "Poor , poor Mona." She giggled.
Rebecca Pederson (9:32:52 PM): "Maybe when she gets back I could help her.. She seems to need a friend." He said carefully to see what her reaction would be
Edward Drake (9:33:16 PM): She squinted at him. "A friend yes,"
Rebecca Pederson (9:33:44 PM): "And if... maybe when I get bigger, something happens, then you'll be happy for me?" He asked, stifling his laughter

Edward Drake (9:35:26 PM): She snorted at him. "Remember our discussion on your dear intelligence? use some of it ~"
Rebecca Pederson (9:36:40 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "I thought we were just friends." He said.
Edward Drake (9:37:31 PM): "We are just friends, but I have my jealous moments, you would understand this if you could get close enough to my red father to get to know him without him eatin you."
Rebecca Pederson (9:38:09 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "Well okay then." He stopped his teasing.
Edward Drake (9:40:29 PM): "Course there is always Me'urra, you look like his type." She tried not to choke on her own laughter.
Rebecca Pederson (9:41:21 PM): Bhaskar spluttered. "Oh yes.. I think I trust humans too much for that pairing, dearest."
Edward Drake (9:44:23 PM): "You wouldnt have to telll him, i havent told him yet."
Rebecca Pederson (9:44:42 PM): Bhaskar watched her. "Why not?"
Edward Drake (9:45:29 PM): "Cause I don't know what he would do."
Rebecca Pederson (9:45:49 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "Okay then..."
Edward Drake (9:49:53 PM): "all kidding aside you are a brat."
Edward Drake (9:50:08 PM): She tickled right below his horns.
Rebecca Pederson (9:50:54 PM): Bhaskar squirmed and tried to get away. "Hey now! no faiiirrrr/
Edward Drake (9:51:18 PM): "Yes fair! brats get tickled and you know it!"
Rebecca Pederson (9:51:39 PM): Bhaskar began to run, when he could twist away.
Edward Drake (9:53:42 PM): "Oi come back here!"
Rebecca Pederson (9:56:38 PM): "Catch me!" Bhaskar hollered back, he was about to leave Aila's lands when Aila whistled for him, ready to take his harness off. Stopping he looked towards Talu, who was catching up, and the human coming near him. Aila approached before he could tell Talu to stop and smiled at Bhaskar as she began unhooking the harness.
Edward Drake (9:59:01 PM): Talu had to break hard to not squash the human that had gotten between her and bhaskar, she slithered around to the other side of him. "Got you."
Rebecca Pederson (10:00:13 PM): Bhaskar glared at her playfully. "Thank you, Aila." He said softly to the human who smiled at both him, and then Talu, before leaving and giving Talu her space. Pride burst into Bhaskar's chest. Talu was getting better. She wasn't practically hiding under him anymore.. not that she could... but anyways.
Edward Drake (10:13:41 PM): She nosed his skin where the harness had been. nope no marks. What would her dad say if he found out she adored a pough boy.
Edward Drake (10:14:13 PM): Hopefully Jeppe neverfound out. Or her boy might be ploughed into the field. She shuddered at the thought
Rebecca Pederson (10:14:48 PM): "See? No marks." He smiled lovingly as he watched her shiver. "You okay? Whats wrong?"
Rebecca Pederson (10:15:51 PM): Bhaskar's ears twitched. "You can tell me..." He said softly.
Edward Drake (10:16:24 PM): " I think if specifically one of my fathers found out about us he might plough you into the feild."
Rebecca Pederson (10:17:32 PM): Bhaskar chuckled. "He'd have alot of others to go through before he got to me..." He answered honestly. "We have a little bit of a formidable army here..." He said, just as he began to think of the Fallen and how many of the sixers it had taken to take them all down... What if that happened here?
Edward Drake (10:18:34 PM): "Daddy's only been taken down once and that was with a lightning war hammer."
Rebecca Pederson (10:18:52 PM): Bhaskar tilted his head. "A what?"
Edward Drake (10:19:07 PM): "Yah some impossibly strong hammer."
Edward Drake (10:19:24 PM): "Avvy thought he was gonna loose Jeppe."
Rebecca Pederson (10:19:44 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "I bet... Your fathers must love each other very much..."
Edward Drake (10:19:56 PM): "they do, intensely so."
Rebecca Pederson (10:20:20 PM): Bhaskar sighed "Its strange to.. think that someone like your parents can truly love like that..."
Edward Drake (10:35:54 PM): 'it is, what they found in each other is strong. Very strong."
Rebecca Pederson (10:36:44 PM): Bhaskar looked at her, words in his head forming that he would never utter aloud. "A bond like that would be unbreakable..."
Edward Drake (10:40:59 PM): " Pretty much. And heaven forbid you get between one and the other. Jeppe is easily angered but piss Avvy off and you are flattened. Jeppe is scary all the time. Avvy is only when he needs to be. Which makes him scarier cause you dont always expect it."
Rebecca Pederson (10:41:51 PM): Bhaskar chuckled as he looked up at the setting sun. "Do.. you need to go...? Or would you like to stay the night?'" He offered cautiously
Edward Drake (10:42:26 PM): "I think I will stay." She said. She didn't want to leave this gentle peaceful place.
Rebecca Pederson (10:43:11 PM): Bhaskar smiled and gave a small nod. "Okay. The stables are over this way." He said, leading her to Aila's house and around it where he and the rest of the azrein that were comfortable with the humans, stayed.
Edward Drake (10:44:10 PM): "Stables? as in inside a box?" She curled a lip.
Rebecca Pederson (10:44:33 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "Just wait til you get inside.. Its not what you think."
Edward Drake (11:07:28 PM): "Your sure?"
Rebecca Pederson (11:08:36 PM): Bhaskar laughed as he led her into the open stables. Looking around, all it was was four walls, adn very comfy beds of softened hay and blankets. There were no small box like entrances for each azrein. It wasnt a traditional stable at all
Edward Drake (11:09:31 PM): Talu poked at some straw and blanket. Hmmm odd. "Will i flatten it if I step on it?"
Rebecca Pederson (11:09:54 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "No. Come on. Where do you want to sleep?"
Edward Drake (11:15:54 PM): "As close to you as possible, that way when something crawls out of the hay it will go for you instead."
Bhaskar smiled and curled up, motioning for Talu to lay down as well. When she did, he fell asleep listening to the sound of her heart beat.

Bhaskar woke the next morning and looked around, immediately his mind going to wonder if Talu had actually stayed the whole night.
Edward Drake (12:01:08 PM): Talu was busy snoring, laid out on her back, right by his side. all apparent concerns about scurrying things in the straw forgotten.
Rebecca Pederson (12:02:23 PM): Bhaskar chuckled at Talu's posture. He looked and saw that nearly everyone else had already woken and left except for Rameses and his little brood who were still sleeping away. They must have gotten in late last night. He smiled again as he turned to Talu, trying not to wake her up.
Talu rolled over unconscously and was shocked when she touched someone. "Oh dear, sorry Bhaskar," she said sheepishly.
Rebecca Pederson (12:50:48 PM): Bhaskar grinned. "Its okay..." He said softly. "By the way... you're so cute when you snore..." He teased lightly
Edward Drake (12:51:43 PM): "I SNORE?!"
Rebecca Pederson (12:52:04 PM): Bhaskar laughed. "yes... but.. only very cutely." Grins.
Edward Drake (12:57:44 PM): "No one has been brave enough to tell me yet ." She grinned.
Rebecca Pederson (12:58:20 PM): Bhaskar's eyes widened. "Do I need to run.. is this where you kill me?" He asked in mock terror

Rebecca Pederson (10:13:09 AM): Bhaskar followed her out, the sun playing games on his golden and purple, hooked swirls. His antlers rose majestically off of his head as his glowing blue eyes followed Taluta's every movement, from the waving of her mane, to the dancing of her hooves.
Edward Drake (10:15:19 AM): Avvy watched from the shadows, secretly wishing he looked that good in the mornings. So his daughter had slept in a "Barn" this meant disownment, but he couldnt do that to his only daughter. Her secret would be safe with him.
Edward Drake (10:15:30 AM): He melted off into the shadows of dawn.
Edward Drake (10:17:02 AM): Talu bounced around the meadow, well the fluff was softer to sleep on then hard cave floor how about that.

Edward Drake (6:35:26 PM): " I have no lue where he is, hopefully away from his psyco bag of a mother. Seriously she is awful, and you KNOW my parents."
Rebecca Pederson (6:35:51 PM): Bhaskar tilted his head. "How is she pyscho?" He asked conversationally
Edward Drake (6:36:30 PM): " She likes to toy around with stuff usually for her own gain but perhaps even for her amusement."
Rebecca Pederson (6:37:41 PM): Bhaskar pursed his lips to the side to think. "That sounds..." He quieted up, not wanting to say anything bad about Talu's family

Rebecca Pederson (6:52:12 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "Its just... very different than my upbringing... its hard to imagine being raised like that...." He said softly
Edward Drake (6:53:53 PM): "Yes I imagine your upbringing would have been very different. Although I did have both my parents there. They love me and they taught me how to defend myself."
Rebecca Pederson (6:54:50 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "I may not have had my parents, but I had Damir and Cecelia and Aila and Thalanir, and Kyrielle... they were enough for me.. along with you..." He smiled
Edward Drake (7:00:46 PM): "Thanks. One day do you think you will meet your parents?"
Rebecca Pederson (7:01:26 PM): Bhaskar sighed. "Maybe... I dunno.. I mean... Mom was supposed to come visit.. I didn't see her often... I miss my sisters...
Edward Drake (7:02:36 PM): " How many sisters did you have?"
Rebecca Pederson (7:03:01 PM): Bhaskar smiled. "Two.. Hale, who is with mom and I spent more time with, and Osprey, who is with my father..."
Edward Drake (7:04:03 PM): " Were they special?" she asked. "Could you trust them with anything?" Talu loved her sister but as of yet they didn't talk all that much.
Rebecca Pederson (7:05:06 PM): Bhaskar thaught for a moment. "yes... I could trust them with anything... Especially Hale.. She was my best friend... until I broke my leg and momma sent me to live with Cecelia.."
Edward Drake (7:08:06 PM): "Your mom sent you to live with Cecelia because you broke your leg?! My brother and i tussled everyday for a whole year, with cuts scrapes torn ears and we had to live together still."
Rebecca Pederson (7:10:54 PM): "Well.. it wasn;t because of the leg... She just..was really stressed and was having a hard time keeping up with two rambunctious foals by herself while traveling and..." He sighed.

Rebecca Pederson (7:22:08 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "But it sounds as if your parents were better equipped..." He said softly, wondering to himself why he was defending his mother.

Rebecca Pederson (8:02:45 PM): Bhaskar gave a thoughtful grunt as he stopped. He was ready to stop for the day. They had already made lots of ground. "That's... intersting..."

Rebecca Pederson (8:03:48 PM): Bhaskar nodded. "Have you ever thought.. that maybe they aren't really evil? They're just... misguided?" He asked softly
