(( Interview takes place in the Pokemon Center, this was before Natalie got Print. c: )) Natalie sighed. She has hung up flyers everywhere to fund a good home for her new baby Emolga. Seven trainers came by for a interview, Natalie thought three of the seven trainers were good, but in the end, it's always Dusty's answer. She slumped in her chair, "Dusty, I hope you're not just saying no just so we could keep the baby..." Natalie sighed again, "We need variety on the team, and I don't want to leave a baby in a PC Box." The trainer watched the door.  Dusty nodded. She understood, but this Emolga was still her baby. He must have a good - no - great trainer.

Genesis dusted off her clothes as she entered the Pokémon Center, suppressing a large yarn that threatened to take over her face. She hadn't had much time to rest since she returned from the free cruise trip (as the dust and yawn indicated), but she needed her Pokémon healed, and she saw no reason to use her own potions and berries when a Center that would do it for her all for free was close by.
As she dropped off a few of her Poké Balls, she overheard Natalie's comment and, recognizing the voice, looked over. Quickly, she recognized the trainer that had not only been on the cruise, as well, but had also put up the flyers for a free Pokémon. Honestly, she thought it'd have been gone by now, but that didn't seem to be the case, and she quietly made her way over to the three of them.
Emolga clung to his mother's back shyly, his flattened ears rising curiously at the approach of a stranger. He gave a small squeak before burying his head in Dusty's neck, as if to hide.

"Hello," Natalie kindly greeted the other trainer, "Were you here for this Emolga?" she pets the hiding Pokemon. Dusty watched the trainer. "{What's wrong?}" she quietly squeaked when her son buried his head in her neck.

"Yep!" Genesis replied, directing a smile at the two small Pokémon. Honestly, it was unexpected, but she'd still intend to try if she could.
Emolga nosed his mother's face in response, but gave no verbal reply. The appearance of the stranger reminded him that he was to be given away, and while the thought of going on adventures with a close companion was exciting, he would miss Dusty terribly, and Natalie was really nice, too...

"Okay," Natalie pulled out a few index cards from her satchel, "First of all, what's your name?" Dusty hugs the Emolga, the interview has started. She was both excited, but sad. She stayed quiet and listens to the two trainers talk.

"Clara," Genesis replied smoothly. "Clara Reed."
Emolga stayed crouched under his mother's arm after the hug, his large ears tickling Dusty's chin as they moved about.

Natalie takes out a pencil and jots down her answer. She did this so she can review the answers at the end. "How much time are you willing to spend training this Emolga?" she asked. Dusty tries to suppress a laugh as her son's ears tickle her.

"As much as I can," Genesis answered. She knew it wouldn't be just physical training the Emogla would need, but mental, too. "There's a lot to learn. I'd never stop teaching him."

Natalie jotted down Clara's answer again, then she places the index card on the table to read the next question, "Do you have any other Pokemon that you think that might have some trouble getting along with this Emolga?"

Genesis shook her head in the negative. "All of my Pokémon know they need to be nice to their teammates," she said confidently. Loyalty was one of the traits she prized and fostered most amongst her Pokémon and no matter what differences may arise, she knew that at the end of the day, each could trust the other.

Natalie wrote down Genesis' response, there was only one question left. Natalie must ask this because that's the question the has been replied with a 'No.' from the other trainers because their reasons were 'I'm too busy.' 'I'm moving.' or 'I just want a Pokemon, I don't care.' (Which was the most ridiculous answer she ever heard.). "Do you have time to let the two meet each other every once in a while?"

Well, this certainly wasn't a question Genesis had been expecting. Like the others, she, too, considered replying with the negative. She moved around often, and even she didn't know where she'd end up. But she had approached with the intention of doing her best, didn't she? She'd think of something.
"I travel often," she warned, "but I'd most certainly try to. He seems to like her very much."
She made the observation with a smile, her head turned to gaze at the small family.
With that assurance, Emolga allowed himself to stray slightly from his mother's side, and he turned a curious nose towards her although his ears were still held low.

(( In the Print vs. Tartarus battle, don't you mean close combat? You randomized a 1 and cross chop was 2. c: )) Natalie watched the Emolga walk forward, she smile, that answer was good enough for her, the trainer looks at Dusty, "What do you think?" Natalie asked her Emolga in a soft voice. Dusty smiled a little, this was a responsible trainer that would take great care of her son. She does a small nod and gave a son a hug."Well, I guess this is your Emolga now. What are you going to name him?"

((LOL woops, sorry. xD -had no idea what you were talking about until I re-read it doopdoop- Sorry about that.))
Genesis was touched by the display of trust, and she stretched out her hand towards the young Emolga. She would definitely do her best to take care of him.
"Hmm... how does Crete sound?"
Emolga hugged his mother back and licked her cheek. If she chose this trainer, then he would go with her. He would always miss Dusty, and Natalie, too -- both of them had been so good to him -- but he didn't doubt either of them, and he smelled Genesis' outstretched fingers eagerly. Already, he was looking forward to the new adventures that would follow.
He gave a small squeak at the name and, after another look back at the two he would be leaving behind, he climbed onto Genesis' hand.

Dusty waved to her son. She listened to the name Crete she thought over and over so she won't forget.
Natalie smile, "I guess we'll maybe see you two later then?" she laughed a little and picked up Dusty --- who had small tears coming from her eyes --- and placed her on her head.
