There was a banshee in the park, banging sticks against trash cans. This banshee was Siobhan, 'practicing' for the band she had formed with Freya. She'd be the best drummer ever! So day and night she played in that park, making all of the noise. All of the noise.

There was also a Reaper in the park. He stood on the path corner, eyes closed as he strumed his base, the animated, upright instrument humming and purring to the boy's dim scating. The words made no sense, but they didn't need to, his voice just another instrument as passerby paused to toss change into the cap he left out enticingly.
They did not notice the rats scurrying in the shadows, up pant legs and into pockets, nor did thy notice the small pile of seeds growing behind the nearby tree.

What ho! What was this? Over on another part of the park, someone with an instrument. Siobhan could wager a guess. He too must be practicing for the Battle of the Bands! The banshee screeched excitedly, dragging the trash cans, lids and sticks with her, making her way toward the boil noisily.
"Greetings, friend!" The banshee called, waving her implements around in lieu of waving. "Are you also a participant of the battling of bands?" She asked curiously, leaning in close once she was within range. "I as well!"

The rats scattered, as did the potential audience. "Hey- HEY you dumb-dora whatchoo think you're doin' scaring away my customers? Forget it," He wove a hand to the two diseased looking black rats that had crept along the sidewalks towards the ghoul and her trashcans, "Doubt she's got anythin' on'er," He glanced over his shoulder to make sure none of the fleeing street-performance-patrons were out of earshot before scooping up his hat to count what seeds had been dropped.
"Yeah, I hearda' it. Interesting operation." He glanced up from his counting with a critical look, "You're a musician?" She wasn't bad, per-say, but that mouth of her's... he was sure he could think of something to stuff it with.

"OH! Oh dear.. did I do something wrong?" Siobhan fretted as the reaper seemed to yell. All those people that ran... oh no. Did she do that? "I am so. So.. SO SORRY!" She wailed, holding one trash can tightly to her flat-chested bosom while the others clattered to the ground. "Uh.. y-yes! I am now a musician. I was asked to be a D r u m m e r.. for a band! And now I am honing my drumming skills!" Or lack there of. Her eyes flicked down to the hat he was holding, a frown pulled at her lips. "Why are there seeds in your hat? I do not imagine that to be comfortable while wearing it.." Wouldn't they fall out?
