Name: Ketsueki no Sera, "Ketsueki"

Description: Chakra blocks chakra, physical blocks physical. But when the two are blended what can be done with it exceeds either. Those of the Ketsueki bloodline have chakra pathways that overlay their circulatory system. Their blood is constantly being bathed in chakra that is not drained to it's absolute limits on a daily basis. Over time this power accumulates and makes the blood of the user not only a perfect medium for advanced jutsu, and highly specialized jutsu, but it also carries some power of it's own.

It is written that the first users of this particular bloodline were born with chakra flows moderately close to the pattern of their circulatory system but over time, with training and use of Kekkai Genkai their system began to shift to align more fully.

When Chakra is used often trough the medium of blood residue remains and like calls to like, which over time and training slowly shifted the chakra pathways to come closer and closer to the veins and arteries within the user. A child shares their mother's blood and so while in the womb, the chakra in the developing circulatory system would be drawn to the chakra already present in the child's blood, thus aligning the two before the child was even born, and creating in essence the first true born of the bloodline.

Requirements: Years of training and alignment of the chakra flows over the blood flows in the practitioner. Children born of a mother already possessing the bloodline, will be granted the initial skills upon birth. A higher volume of blood, less dense bones (higher marrow content)

Strengths: A Ketsueki's blood holds a reserve of power, gained from absorbing chakra that was not used over the course of a day, which allows them to use jutsu that exceed their normal level of chakra. The blood within the body holds a chakra equal to 250% of the user's total chakra when at 0% Bloodloss [100% Blood] then if the chakra is used a corrisponding amount of blood must be lost. And if a certain volume of blood is lost the chakra is spilled regardless of the amount required.

Weakness: While a Ketsueki can rebuild blood faster then most, it is only 2-3 times faster, still meaning that bloodloss can be debilitating for days, even weeks depending on the severity and it is just as deadly to a Ketsueki as to anyone else.

While the blood might contain power there is no way to gain that power or release it without freeing the blood from inside the user's body.

Ketsueki are also weak against fire users, becuase once the blood has been burnt they are unable to manipulate it.

Abilities/Jutsus:

**Blood Pathing**
Those of the bloodline merely need a moment of concentration to judge the exact levels of how much blood remains, how much chakra is inherent in it and if there is any damage in the body.

**Natural Defense**
The blood of Ketsueki users is exceptionally resistant to any blood-borne pathogens and toxins, only those of nearly double a fatal dosage will effect the user, but the defense draws on chakra in the blood to eliminate the threat. It is a reflexive action and takes no conscious thought on the user's behalf.

**Blood Burn**
Ketsueki blood from birth, will burn those who do not have chakra under their control equal to that of the bearer of the blood. The burn is mild even if the difference is great but it takes a while to heal and more often then not, if not treated by a Ketsueki will leave a scar.

**Energy Shot**
If a Ketsueki drinks their own blood, if by accident or on purpose, it acts as quick acess to that energy.

**Like Calls to Like**
Ketsueki's are aware of other Ketsueki blood nearby, be it still in a person, in a blood pool, or even faint traces remaining from an injury. The older or the smaller the bloodstain the fainter the feeling. There is no way to block or hide this awareness.

*Temperature Control*
With minute uses of power the blood in a user's body can be warmed or cooled, over the entire body or restricted to certain parts like the hands for medical massage.

*Blood Sense*
Once basic chakra training and control begins Ketsueki learn to expand their blood awareness beyound just their Bloodline. They come to sense bruises, internal bleeding and circulatory anomalies more easily.

*Renewal*
Renewal is a long series of handsigns that accelerate the body's ability to regenerate blood while being proformed, but this can also wear out the body physically and should be used sparingly.

**Hardened Strike**
Once activated the blood will harden in the fist making the punch as if made by a rock, the jutsu has a short duration however since the hand will eventually begin to go numb (which might be helpful) but after a few minutes the tissue will begin to die from lack of circulation

*Heart Heat*
By warming the blood slightly it speads warmth to both the surface and internal aspects of the body, the extra heat lasts only so long as the hand sign is maintained.

*Patch*
Ketsuekis by having an extreme control over their blood can harden it in an instant over a wound, clotting without losing a single unnecessary drop of blood, as well as hardening to harder then a scab, allowing for further protection for the wound. (Cannot cover more then 2" sq. of surface area)

[Genin]
**Blood Needles**
The user can through a series of hand signals, use blood from within their own system to form slim, razor sharp, needle-shaped projectiles, or they can use their own blood that has fallen. After a minute the needles melt back into a liquid form.

**Posionous Blood**
A series of hand signs can activiate the latent chakra held within their blood and any body containing even a drop of Ketsueki blood will find that drop reacting violently and causing anywhere from a slight discomfort to vomit enducing pain.

**Detox**
Once releasing their blood into another person's system they can activate it to seek, and sourround the poison within the blood stream and then with another manipulation the blood can be drawn out through any open wound.

**Hardened Form**
Requiring first a mastery of Hardened Strike, Hardened Form is a more advanced technique allowing the body to harden when in close proximity to another blood, so the bond is only hard the moment before impact with another body. The hardening will eventually wear down the body but depending on the rate of strikes it will take a long time. This state must be deactivated.

**Regenerative Sleep**
By slipping into a special meditative state users can increase their blood production to nearly double, the technique lasts only a few hours and gives no real rest. Upon awakening the user will be ravenous their body having used concentrated amounts of energy to rebuild the blood.

*Warrior of the Fallen*
A series of hand signs activates all the Ketsueki blood on the feild and causes it to form it's own hardened, solid form.

*Blood Blade*
Ketsueki blood on the field can be summoned to the user with a series of hands signs, and hardened into a blade that was designed, to it's users ideals.

**Bloody Armory**
Each weapon can be formed from the user's own blood or a mix of the blood of the fallen and the user's blood. The user can reclaim half the blood they put into the weapon if it is not dropped or used up. [Blood Sword -- 200 units], [Blood Bow -- 150 units, Blood Arrows -- 10 units], [Blood Knives -- 40 units], [Blood Shuriken -- 10 units], [Blood Kunai -- 20 units]

**Reclaim**
A sequence of hand signs can be used to summon the user's blood from the field back into the user's body but it may contain traces of dirt, bacteria, etc. that would make it less then ideal.

*Blood Script*
By pricking their finger a user can hold it over a paper and the blood will form writing, a minimal use of blood, and if dropped into an ink well it will do the same, only it will require less blood and the writing will appear to be written in ink rather then blood.

**Cure All**
Ketsueki blood can temporarily transfer immunities and the Ketsueki's ability to fight infection and poisons for the length of the cells, or until the chakra inherent in them is spent. (Blood cells live 40 days before dying.)

*Bloody Whispers*
Whispers can be transmitted between pools of Ketsueki blood, such as some kept in a vial, or pooled in the hand from a cut, but should the blood dry out, it stops conducting sound, and the smaller the pool the softer the sound.

*Mermaid's Kiss*
A seal is written over the lips which blocks water but allows the air trapped in the water to pass through, essentially allowing the user to breathe underwater through their mouth, their nose is still succeptable to being clogged with water unless the seal is continued around the nasal passages, which is vastly more difficult since the seals need to be half the size if not less and that is difficult to control.

**Healer's Helpers**
A few drops of blood are added to the water before performing the water clone jutsu, which allows the clone the extra chakra and knowledge to perform at a Genin's level of competency independent of the user. The clone can only travel 100 meters away from the user before it dissolves back into water.

*Twins' Rings*
Two rings both forged out of blood are as fragile as soft gold, and easily broken if removed and crushed, but much harder to break while still on the finger. If one band breaks the other will break in the same manner with identical fracture lines.

*Blood Compass*
A compass formed of hardened Ketsueki blood can be fed a fed drops a 'sought' blood and track it, the "needle" on the compass is more of a circle, points coming off of it, the longer the point the further the body of similar blood is from the compass, the wider the point the larger the body of blood being tracked. Well built compasses can even detect blood stains.

**Blood is the River of Memory**
Ketsueki users can read the most recent, or stored memories in blood, and those of great skill, if given direct contact to a person's blood can read any memories from that blood, provided they know what they are looking for, otherwise they are restricted to surface thoughts and deeply set traumas and scars.

**Angel Eyes**
A series of seals and signs around the eyes see through genjutsu, chakra for a Chunin level jutsu will sustain the jutsu for 3 rounds, after that the cost must be paid in full for another three rounds, and should the jutsu be broken before that time the chakra cannot be reclaimed.

**Blood Collar**
The collar must be made completely out of the user's blood (200 units) and once around the target's neck, the user has to be within 3 yards the user the user can tighten the collar with a hand sign, or loosen the same way. The collar will hold it's shape so long as it is within 200 yards of the user.

*Blood Coffin*
By mixing Ketsueki blood with other bloods, when they come into contact with a target, the chakra in the mixture can be activated and have it hardened into a diamond like hardness, once immobilized, more blood can be smeared on the captive until they are encased and their air cut off which will be just as lethal to a shinobi as any other human being.

**Judgement**
This Jutsu allows a few drops of the user's blood to be ceremoniously dropped on a person and the small, secret Genjutsu attatched to this technique let's the target decide their own guilt, if guilty the blood will burn, if innocent the blood will not harm the target, but the truth is within the target's own mind and there for foolproof.

**Hear me, See me**
A seal written around the ear in blood is trailed down the side of the neck before wrapping around the throat. Words do not need to be spoke aloud, the vibrations of the throat as the words are formed even if the sound is not released. Chakra is necessary for the jutsu to be used, but the chakra will always be drained from the one who set the seals, until the seals are destroyed or unwritten. If ever should the Ketsueki choose to dissolve the seals they will break and become in active, and then they can be washes away. Until that point they can only be broken by a cut on area of the seal, or being written over with chakra laden ink or blood.

*Heart Ache*
A quick jutsu will harden the blood currently filtering through the heart for a moment, giving the sharp sensation of the target's heart ceasing to beat, and a tight pinching pain in their chest, but the jutsu is short lived.

**Ice in your Veins**
A single drop of Ketsueki blood in the target's veins will begin radiating a chill when activated by the user's hand signs, and will continue to cool the targert's blood until they slip into a hypothermic shock and eventually death, but to proceed the handsign cannot be broken or the cold will cease to radiate. (3 posts for terrible chills, 6 posts for shock, 9 for death)

**Replacement**
If there is an excessive amount of bloodloss the user can transfuse some of their blood into the patient, matching exact blood type. The blood will last beyond the average 40 days to 60 and help support and stimulate bone marrow's red blood cell production

The User allows their Ketsueki blood to mingle with all the other blood on the feild and creates multiple copies of a Warrior of the Fallen.

*Blood Puppet*
When at least a half pint of the user's blood has been filtered into the target the user can seize control of the target and control their body's movements through their circulatory system, the chakra in the blood also draws the target's chakra to the target's blood and allows the user limited use of the traget's chakra and jutsu's through their puppet, even bloodline specific, but only if the user knows the hand signs.

*Blood Boil*
When a large portion of blood has been passed into the target a series of hand signs will begin to vibrate the blood cells at a frequency that disrupts the balance within the circulatory syatem and acts almost like a centerfuge as it begins to seperate the diffent density levels of the blood. The blood seperated is therefor useless to the body and similar ot blood that was simply lost. (5 posts = 1/2 remaining blood loss etc. Lasts 3 rounds before it must be reactivated.)

**Hell Hath No Fury**
Once the Ketsueki blood is entered into the opponent's blood stream it can be used to form braces that will surround the bone, and slowly crush a select bone to pebble sized bits. The blood can then be moved to sourround another bone, and section by section the bones can be crushed into grape sized pieces, afterwards the blood forms long thin thread-like formations that slice through organs and soft tissues, as fast or as slow as the controller desires.

Summon Description: The summon produces a large number of butterflies depending on the summoner's level. [Genin: 125 Chunin: 250 Jounin: 500 Kage: 1000] When summoned the butterflies are black and attach to victims, draining chakra every round [Genin: 2 Chunin: 4 Jounin: 8 Kage: 16], after reaching capacity [Genin: 10 Chunin: 20 Jounin: 40 Kage: 80] the butterflies turn white, and transfer to friendly targets to act as communicators and healers until their chakra is used up. [Healing costs the chakra of the technique and can only be used if the Summoner knows the technique. The butterflies can only use kappojutsu. Communication costs 1 chakra per round.]

Summon (non boss) Description: Chou is about the size of an adult human's torso and can control the direction of the butterflies, who they mark as friend of foe. Without her, the summoner needs to individually control which butterflies pick which person, and leave the summoner completely absorbed in controlling the summons, and even then they can loose control of which butterfly lands on who in which phase.

Lily on the Water
Beautiful, Graceful, Deadly


Description: Lily on the Water was a style designed by a troop of traveling dancers, who used it both as a routine and a means of self-defense on the open road. The female dancers concentrated on how to move to appeal to the human eyes to make their wages, but they also needed something capable of taking out those who wanted to take those wages. Lily on the Water focus the chakra into the feet in a similar manner to walking on water, and allows the user to balance on any surface so long as there is enough for a foot hold in the earlier stages; by the end stages they can perch on something as small as a grain of rice, floating on the surface of a pond and not disturb the water.

___Notes:
• Lily on the water is a style that until it's later stages requires a petite body and light weight. It can be learned by any but until the final stages those of larger bulk will find it a mostly useless skill set. This taijutsu has to be used in combination with The Art of Water Walking, with the exception of DemiGoddess, Step until Goddess Step is obtained; at which point Goddess Step requires the same level of power to activate as a E-ranked jutsu. [All stages will be listed as Simple or Complex based on the assumption The Art of Water Walking is already active.]

For all intents and purposes it makes the user's steps as light as a feather. But should someone kick off the surface upon which they are balanced the force of the jump is still inflicted upon the surface. History of the Clan and Kekkei Genkai:

Of the Bloodline Ketsueki no Sera there is a select few within the bloodline, who are direct female descendants of the progenitor herself. And because of the way the bloodline functions this offers a unique aspect for those who are descended from mother to daughter reaching back to Sera herself.

The bloodline technique "Blood is the River of Memory" is a bloodline technique and those 'memories' that were absorbed in a mother's blood are passed to her children while they are in the womb, those latent 'memories' cannot be accessed until the child learns "Blood is the River of Memory".

But there is a line of those directly descended (mother to daughter) from Sera who bear all the memories from the previous generations and it is those who are given a special title: Genzon Oboe, also known as the Living Memory. Sera accumulated so many memories and lives in her lifetime (as well as all the generations after her that seperate her from the members of this branch of the Bloodline) the force of that memory begins effecting the children bearing it. The memories begin to manifest themselves and offer the children of this branch special access to techniques that only those who share the direct female descendance have access to. The wealth of memories can only be passed over time with extended blood to blood contact which is why it can only be passed biological mother to daughter.

Rules and Traits:

Only those children who were born of Ketsueki mothers and shared their blood during gestation, who can trace their maternal bloodline purely back to Sera can bear this rank. Female children are consider pure "Genzon Oboe" since they can continue the bloodline, and Male children are considered similar to broken branches, since they can bear the memories but they cannot continue the bloodline.

Limitations:

Blood and all it's memories as well as chakra and ability to be manipulated are destroyed when it is exposed to fire.

A pure maternal bloodline traceable back to Sera.

TabTabSera gazed out across the barren wasteland her arms folded around herself; even within the depths of her lined cloak she felt a chill that froze her to the bones. She had slipped out of the cave early to empty her stomach, she was sick, but with what she didn’t know; at first she had thought it was stress but now she was not so sure. She turned to look around her, all she could see as far as her eye could discern was snow, snow and more snow; a white coating on everything and from within that coat, nothing moved. If needed she would be able to track her blood back to where Sunsan still slept safe in the warmth of their cavern surrounded by barrier to help block them from being detected and keep them safe from harm. She had missed him immeasurably when he was gone, and now that he was back she felt whole again, but more than before she feared losing him, she feared that half alive state she had suffered through. To live a life of smiles and encouragement to all those around her and cry every night in the silence of her own home, the warmth that once filled her heart now frigid and hallowing her out from within. She wrapped her arms tighter around herself, more from the cold rising from within then the ice and snow blowing from without.
TabTabHer silence and contemplation were broken by a scream rending the air and in an instant she had taken off her feet swift as she ran across the surface of the snow, much as she might water. She crested the rise and the scene before her had her frozen in her tracks; a group of shinobi stood surrounded by the corpses of huge white cats that seemed almost too big to be real, and with them stood a fiery creature. She watched as one man fell back and a wound opened on his chest, but only as the blood was drawn did she see the giant cat tearing into him. Covering her mouth with a hand she wondered at what would have made such a bloodstained feral creature unseen to her eyes, which were so used to picking out every detail of a scene. Amidst the carnage Sera slid down the incline and charged forward, her heart racing as she rushed to help the man, and hopefully save those of his comrades who were still alive. When she got closer she only then realized the cats were even larger then she had first thought, and the fiery beast, was double their size. She caught the creature’s eyes and a demon stared back at her, her heart raced as the shinobi managed to cut down the last of the large white cats and drag himself away from the battle. Sera’s eyes didn’t leave the demon’s, but she could feel the hatred flowing off the creature and the demon looked away first, all of that intent turning to focus on the man who lay bleeding to death in the snow. That was enough to spring Sera into action snatching a few heat seals from her pack she threw them on the ground while her hands formed seals to create a clone.
TabTabThe demon reared up and prepared to slam down on the man with both flaming paws, slaughtering him with an excessive amount of force. But just before he fell Sera's clone grabbed the man and continued her momentum looping around behind the demon, careful to stay out of range of the beast's flaming tail. The moment the clone returned with the man in her arms, Sera nodded for the clone to begin healing and rushed the creature. Sera got close but in an instant a huge paw landed squarely on her chest and sent her flying back; the pain from the burns made breathing hard before her flowing blood activated and stated to heal using the chakra in the blood. It was then she realized the beast had intentionally slowed it's actions to increase the fear of the man it intended to kill, a primal form of torture. She sat up to see the flaming cat lashing it's tail and snarling at her, as if daring her to move so it could give chase. Sera rose shakily to her feet it's eyes still on her but in a moment something felt wrong; and then she realized with dread what it was.
TabTabFor the first time the cat sensed a flash of fear from the woman who had tried to steal her prey, and such a revelation pleased her. But there was something strange, the woman didn't seem to fear her, instead something else terrified her, snarling she pounced on the woman.
TabTabSera threw up a water barrier around herself before the creature left the ground and it snapped into place on moments before the beast landed, frighteningly fast as it was. Trying to take calming breathes Sera curled around on herself, for the first time since she had returned she had performed a body scan on herself. Among the injuries and in the early stages she had missed what was now frightfully apparent, she was pregnant. The morning sickness made sense now as well as a few other things she has counted up to her return, and the stress that followed. And now she was fighting for not only her life but the one within her, she felt a single tear of self pity flow down her cheek before she hardened her resolve. She would have to fight without reserve to win because allowing herself to do anything else to spare the child would only get them both killed. She took a moment to plan before the last bit of energy faded from her barrier and she bolted away from the demon not in the opposite direction that would be to obvious but just enough to the side to be missed by a preaimed lunge.
TabTabGrabbing seals from her pockets she threw them down as she darted around and around laying the pieces of paper to the snow. The demon chased, shifted and pounced, playing with the fear Sera knew it could sense, but she allowed herself to feel it if it offered her the time she needed. When she threw down the last seal she expelled chakra from her feet to break her momentum and hold her near the seal as her chakra flooded that already in the seal and in an instant raised a barrier. The Nibi crashed head first into it and was thrown back, but the barrier trembled, that force alone had come close to shattering the barrier. Desperate to survive Sera started channeling her chakra into the introverted reflective barrier while slowly activating the multiple cold barriers she had set up around it. She prayed her theory proved correct and the exponential drop in temperature layered upon itself would weaken the beast before the barrier broke.
TabTabIt was not enough, Sera cut her hands and started pouring her chakra in to a pool before her using reclaim to draw it back unto her body with the other hand, but stripping it of it's chakra as it flowed. At last the ice had formed on everything and the demon trembled, it's legs hardly able to hold it up as the air around it formed ice but only when it came into the contact with the warmth of it's body. The rest of the air in the barrier was too cold to even achieve such a state, Sera doubled over with a cry as her stomach gave a sharp pang and she realized she had drained too much too fast. Her body couldn't handle the deficit and within her the child who had become used to the chakra rich blood was suffering in it's lack, and going into the symptoms of withdrawl. Tears of frustration poured down from her cheeks as Sera crawled forward placing one hand on her demon where it lay exhausted in the center from the constant reflection of all it's attacks back at itself from the barrier and the impossible cold that ate away at it's power just to maintain it's fire in such conditions. The other hand came to rest on her womb as she used her blood with what little power remained in it to craft the script of a seal, she started with the jutsu she had forbidden herself long ago, drawing the life force from the demon and feeding it gently into the babe within her womb. Just a taste of that power flowing through her gave her enough to scrap together the last she needed to craft the delicate seals on the demon's body and her infant's tiny form. Sera screamed as the demon seemed to be absorbed through her hand flowing through her body as she channeled the power into the host it would now possess. Collapsing in a heap Sera curled around her stomach too weak to even produce heat in her blood to keep her warm, but she felt the strong and steady beat of the life within her, no longer in danger and filled to the brim with a power that would sustain her until her mother's body could recover.
TabTabSera's clone tended the man and watched her original out of the corner of her eye; but when the man whispered something she leaned in to hear the bare whisper. Once her mind understood what her ears only half heard she recoiled and stopped what healing she had been under way. The man made as if to grab for her arm but she jerked away and rose to leave, Hunters Sera's clone knew Sera would share her pain at the thought, not for meat or survival, but for pelts to sell, had slaughtered sentient beings. She laid her hand on the body of one of the fallen cats who she had seen attacking the man and assumed the worst, but they had been fighting for their lives, she looked around at the range of sizes from small to large, and the lives of their young. She heard a mewling and turned to see the largest animal in the group, a pale silver in color, and the only non white body, from beneath the creature a tiny form tried to wriggle free. Sera's clone rushed over and lifted the body as much as her hands could grip the flesh of the animal, who was easily twice her size; a tiny kitten fought to emerge. Sera dropped the weight once it was free and when she turned to pick up the frail thing it swung a paw at her, hatred and fear mixing in its eyes, but it didn't back down. Sera had flinched at the attack and instictually withdrawn but seeing the pain in those young eyes she reached out once more this time her arms was met with teeth, but she ignored the pain and curled the tiny animal to her chest. The animals struggled but when it could not break free it slowly stilled into the surrounding warmth and began desperately nosing around against Sera's chest. Sera gave a soft gasp as the tiny creature's cold nose touched the bare skin beneath her jacket, but she has nothing she could offer it. She tucked the kitten in close under her jacket and rose to look over the rise at how the battle had commensed; she knew vanishing with what knowledge would offer Sera no help might even endanger as the anger at the hunters clouded a mind that needed to be sharp to fight a demon. Walking over she found her mistress laying on the ground curled in a small ball and trembling from the cold, she let a few drops of her blood flow into her mistress's body and let them warm her from the inside out. She shifted to tuck the kitten in close to Sera who allowed the creature under her jacket to cuddle in close to the warmth her body was now radiating.
TabTabReaching underneath them both Sera's clone lifted the pair and began to make the long way back to the cave knowing if Sera had drained herself to the point she couldn't even use an academy level jutsu something had truly been wrong. She would bring Sera back to where Sunsan rested and was probably beside himself with worry at his missing lady, but having no way to come find her he would probably settle for pacing and preparing for the worst when they returned. But aside from fidgeting he would have bandages, food and a place to rest set up as well, prepared in case she came back in much worse shape then she left which was an unfortunately common occurance. Sera's clone walked her arms aching with the burden of her mistress's weight but soon enough her task would be done. Sera curled up around herself felt the tiny creature under her jacket trying to suckle even as he slept, and she knew she would have to find something for him to eat, but even as that thought passed her mind returned to circling around the same fact that had haunted her, trapped as she was in her own mind, her body too weak to respond. She was going to be a mother, Sunsan was going to be a father, they were going to have a child... and within that child rested a demon. Sera knew she would love the infant no matter what happened, and she only hoped that love would be the child's sheild and sword against those who would blindly hate her. But hopefully those who knew Sera would learn to love the infant before they ever learned what lie inside of her, and make the judgement based on the host and not the demon.

Family History: Airi's mother, Sera, was born to two bloodline limited parents but she herself bore neither bloodline, instead over the course of her young life she trained her body and her chakra and at Chunin she was finally able to develop Academy and Genin level bloodline techniques based on the alteration she had done to her own body. Airi's father, Sunsan, bore a mutation of the Accursed bloodline which gave him astonishing powers but also killed his body by being the vessel of such power. Transfusions of Sera's blood helped counteract the side effects of Sunsan's bloodline and he became the only one able to care for Sera when she was wounded, because Sera's blood burns all those who touched it, other then those who bore the same blood, and he kept a high enough concentration of her blood in his veins from the transfusions it didn't burn him.

When Sera was a child she was good friends with the Kyuubi Host who was a Chunin of Kirigakure while she was a Genin, most people feared him for her power, but she judged him on his actions rather then his potential for destruction. He was her first love and when he left without a word she was heart broken, but she recovered. Shortly after Sera was appointed as a Chunin she was made an Oinin for her excellent skills a tracker, derived from her, still secret, bloodline techniques. She was informed one of the top targets to be hunted and returned to the village alive or dead was Edric, the Kyuubi host who had been declared rogue. Sera found her faith in her medical skills wavering as well as her faith in her village for how strict it was with it's people. After she passed her Jounin Exams she went traveling to Amegakure taking on the false name of Belladonna Ketsueki, lest her association with one of the Five Great Villages endanger her life. She met Sunsan there and when word reached her that the Mizukage had gone missing she returned post haste to her village with a better understanding that a strong front for a village protected it's people from being run down by those who would see the land only as a monetary gain, as they had in Amegakure. She was elected as a canidate for Kage by the council and shorly after they discovered the great shinobi pair who had been gaining quite the reputation in Amegakure and the surrounding areas, the "Lady Belladonna" and her companion were actually Sera and her companion Sunsan, she was elected as Mizukage.

At Airi's parents' wedding an old friend appeared, Edric, coming long after anyone recognized him he danced with his childhood friend at her wedding, bringing with him his then ward, Sumire Miyake. They were greeted warmly and in the glow of the festivities none questioned them since they were clearly friends of the bride, and approved by the Mizukage all in one. After the wedding three months passed before the attack in which Sera was captured and Sunsan was presumed dead. A year later a young girl named Hoshi, after reading the journals Sera had kept since she was a young girl, left the village to retrieve the Mizukage's memories from her blood. When Hoshi reached the Mizukage's body however she found it in a state of stasis, mostly dead but able to be revived, she sacrificed her life to revive the Mizukage's blood which in turn restored her body.

Sera then returned to Kirigakure and took over as Mizukage once more, leaving the Nidai Mizukage, Mbizi Lara to turn to his own pursuits and reunite the Mist's Seven Swordsmen. Weeks later when rumors of the Shodai Mizukage's revival spread many came to her seeking miracle healings, for ailments all others had deemed hopeless; among those who came was a young man who had lost his memory and was slowly dying of a wasting disease no one seemed to recognize and more healing, chakra or otherwise seemed able to cure. He came before the Mizukage and was given both a cure: a transfusion of her blood long overdue, but his memories as well, as his wife returned their time together to his mind.

During an excursion to the Land of Snow for a rare flower for her garden Sera encountered the Nibi, already weakened by the cold, the demon still managed to bring Sera to within an inch of her life before she managed to weaken it enough to seal. But in that state of near death, the child within her was dying and needed power to survive, power Sera did not have that she could give, so instead Sera sealed the spirit of the Nibi to the unborn child using her Bloodline limit technique Blood Script in combination with the Demon's Sealing Technique. The Demon's power bolstered the child's drained life chakra and became strangely attached to the infant, and when she was born the seal weakened and the demon almost broke free but it was contained.
History: By the precocious age of 12 months Airi was already talking though she tired quickly if she walked too much. But Shikyo would lay down and let Airi climb on his back and ride, her tiny hands wrapped in fistfuls of fur to help keep her balance. He would walk her from place to place and it was there she began meeting people. Airi loves people and tends to gain that love in return, she visits the Infirmaries on occasion and the simple joy of such a lively and pure spirit can be a balm to wounded and weakened hearts that helps their bodies heal.

She is especially fond of those who have amazing stories to tell she loves tail of love and adventure and life and death. Even if she does not understand all of what she is told there is something in her that seeks the knowledge of lives other then her own.
