1. There is no *for actions* or ~for actions~ and so on.
If your character is doing something, you must describe it the best you can. Use,"To speak your voice.." and make sure to use correct punctuation! If you are new to rp, and would like some pointers--your personal guild captain shall show you some tips.

2. Try to be as creative as you can!
This has to do with rp, or whatever else you might be doing. Be creative and think of all you can do. I want each member to describe everything about their characters..Try to think of their past. Try to see how they view others. Try to imagine how they look and why. And try, to rp as them the best you can. Do not fret, simply set your character and I bet you can do it!

Note: If you feel up for it, perhaps have a journal? It can be here in the guild, in the Plot subforum or Etc subforum, or in your Gaia journal. Journals can help you note what has happened in the rps, or perhaps it's your character writing in the journals instead. This helps you rp your character personally and explore how they think.

3. Do not post a topic where it doesn't belong, if you please.
Topics regarding questions/suggestions/complaints/etc should go to this subforum. Topics regarding OOC within the OOC subforum. And so on. If a topic is in the wrong place, I will move it with a warning. Do so more then three times, and I will temporarily ban you from this guild. I do not want this guild to be a mess--every topic must be organized!

4. If you are to post, consider what you are posting.
If you're speaking with someone, know what you should say and what you should not. If it's rp, then know what your character is doing and go from there. Preview before you post to ensure another post has not been made.

Why use Preview?: It is best to Preview before you post because others might have posted before you. When you preview a post, the list of previous posts is refreshed and any new posts will be shown. This helps with active topics, and helps you from having to go back and edit.

5. You must read all the rules of each topic.
You have to read the Guild Rules, but all the rp topics and rps will have rules they want you to follow. You must follow their rules as much as the Guild Rules. If you disobey their rules, they may give you a warning. Do it again, and they will tell me. If I know you're breaking their rules and my rule to follow their rules...you'll be temporarily banned. And when you come back, I expect more from you.

6. If you do not post for more then two weeks, a crew member will message you.
A month, a warning will follow. Two months, and there's one last warning....and if no reply then, your characters will be suspended until you reply the crew member. If you still do not reply these messages, then you and your characters will be deleted.

7. No Godmoding. At All.
Two warnings, and only two! Anymore, and you're banned from my guild. It's fine if you're misunderstanding the situation and I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

8. There is a limit to the maturity of all rps!
I will allow a kiss or a french kiss or a bite and even a wandering hand....however, I will draw the line! Once it comes to it, as in when you and the other proceed to the "bedroom", you are to time skip. If you wish to rp it, private message each other to keep it private as it should be.

How should I Time skip?: To time skip, simply post saying "Time Skip". You may include what your character does after the time skip, or await until your next post to do so. Just remember how long each time skip is and say when it ends.
Example:

*Time Skip*
I awake the next morning, and look to the rising sun.

In this example I have stated it is morning, and only now is the sun rising. Thus, sunlight is out and I help the other rpers with how long the time skip was. You do not have to put exact details, just inform them if it's night or day.


9. All of the rps in this guild will have a plot. For the Plot subforum, click here.
Make sure to follow each plot to each rp accordingly! Plots help the rp to stay on a correct course and it can be exciting with all the plot twists and surprise hints. Don't knock it till ya try it.

10. You are to never "give up".
I mean, if you're busy or you have to quit the rp...that's okay. BUT, you don't "give up" >> When you have to leave the rp, you have to talk to the person who created the rp! If you are stuck in the rp, with no idea what to do, talk to them to help involve your character to the rp's plot. If you want your character to do something, but it's not allowed...even though you really want to do it.. talk to the one who created the rp and see if they will allow it. (Do not annoy them asking over and over again) Rp Creators, you are also responsible to make sure each rper has had a fair chance in the rp. Ensure that their characters are involved!

11. Stick to your character
Do not try to impose or be rude to the others unless that is your character. It's okay to cuss here and there if that's your character. If they hate someone, hate 'em! Hell, be the enemy you wanna be! Or, be the hero you wanna be! Here, I encourage everyone to be their character the best they can be so their characters are the best they can be. Your character isn't you, it's them. That's what makes rp truly rp.

12. Only make as many characters as the rp permits!
If the rp says only one character --> you can only have one. If the rp says you can make two ----> you can make two. I want each and every member to make as many characters as they want if they want to. Just try not to overwork yourself and don't forget any of the characters~!

Main Rp Note: If you are interested in the Main Rp, then you may ONLY have four per rp. FOUR PER RP! That means you can have four characters in one book, and maybe another four in another book. This allows you to "play" with it, as I say. ^~^ Just follow all the rules, and you'll be a-okay. Literal Meaning: Only 4 per rp. Only 4 characters allowed in "A Fairytale Untold" . Only 4 characters allowed in "The Untold Fairytale". Only 4 characters allowed in "A Nightmare Unheard Of". You get the idea.

13. If you want a character dead or alive, you can't just choose it willy-nilly. People depend on your character...it might not seem like it, but they do! If the character is alive, it makes a difference. If they're dead, it makes a difference. If your character does die, consult with the one who has created the rp. Be creative with your character's death as you were with your character's birth. Let the tale finish the way you want it to be and talk to the rp's creator to make it happen.

Main Rp Note: If you are rping within the Main Rp, you'll have to follow the rules behind each one. Each one will have their own rp on how your character dies. Follow those rules accordingly.

14. If there is to be a battle of any sort, know that there is no auto hitting or auto-dodging or any god-mod of any sort as already mentioned. If you really want to battle, could you use the Method? It's not necessary to use The Method, but you can if you want to.


What is auto-hitting? Auto-hitting is when you automatically "hit" someone or something. Like if someone throws another character, that's auto-hitting. If someone kicks another character's gut and pushes them against the wall, this is the worse kind of auto-hitting. If you slap someone on the face, this is simple auto-hitting and I will allow a few (list below) within the rp. Auto-hitting is something not allowed in this guild and will only have two warnings. If you do it again, the third time, you and your characters will be temporarily banned. Do it again, after you've already been banned, and you will be deleted from this guild.

What can be auto-hit: A slap to the face is perfectly fine. There will always be the moment where your character will just want to slap someone. This goes with a punch, BUT only ONE punch. This is when your character just punches someone, and it's an auto-hit. However, any more then one is not allowed. As for any npcs within the rp, auto-hitting does not apply to them.

What is auto-dodging? : Auto-dodging is when you automatically dodge something constantly. People need to roleplay what their character does to respond and not constantly dodge. There should be where sometimes they can't dodge and they have to take the attack. Auto-dodging can get so unfair for all players alike and it shall not be in this guild. A lot of players overuse this in battle where they constantly auto dodge and frankly it gets to the point where it's just ridiculous. However, I'll allow a few things that can be auto-dodged.

What can be autododged: Whenever someone tries to punch or kick you ONCE you may auto-dodge. If someone is using a weapon, you simply can not dodge that unless your character has been trained to. You may dodge some overly powerful attacks; which is where the attacks are so powerful it's only a "one-shot" deal and if you're not in that one spot then you dodge it just fine. This is because overly powered attacks are a bit slow, and it's easy to move out of the way of them. If your character is running and someone attacks them while they're still running then they are able to dodge a little easier because they're moving faster. Just basic thinking, honestly. Watch what your character is doing and go from there.


15. You can create Npcs to add to your posts! This involves extra characters you want to include your character to react to. The Npc may be the character's mother, enemy, or maybe just some random individual. Unlimited amount of Npcs can be added, and if you wish to turn a Npc into one of your characters you may (if the character limit permits).


What is a Npc?: Npcs are other characters that have no real players, and are just "extra" people. Your character may beat up some thugs (npcs) or perhaps kill someone (npc) that they're suppose to kill or just maybe they knock out some drunken idiot (npc) who needs to be asleep and not bothering everyone. Situations like these happen often depending on the rp and your character, thus why auto-hitting does not apply to Npcs.




Remember to post that you have read the Guild Rules, and if you post in any of the rp subforums without reading the rules--you will be warned to go read the Guild Rules. Continue to post without posting you've read the rules and I will refuse any of your characters. You must know the rules. Know them and follow them.
