He'd almost started hitting his head against the wall when he was told what he'd be doing that day. Fixing all the things he'd removed from the broken room the day before. 'Resources' shouldn't go to waste. If that was the case Marcus bitterly thought, they sure as all hell were wasted on some things. The coffee machine in the life labs was very much not needed and he didn't quite understand the need for that to be fixed.
Still constructing a wall from pretty much nothing- A dozen other moons had shown up, as well as some life hunters who were apparently, going to add a few 'extra' layers of protection. One moon called bullshit and said they were going to make some fake runes just to get out of any actual construction work. As Marcus looked at them lazing about, he was inclined to agree before he set out with the others to set the proper frame work up.

The wall took a good number of them, some having to hold it steady while others worked to make sure everything lined up and was square. Didn't matter if you had a wall if it was crooked. Plus it was just make things more complicated later. Arms straining from holding the thick beams of wood up, Marcus glared along with some other moon hunters as the few lifes came in and began to critique their work. They hadn't done anything but stand around, while the dozen moons where working their asses off. Biting his tongue, Marcus just kept the wood steady as they screwed it into place.
Sometimes he hated life.

The wall frame was nearly done, but they still needed the life hunters to leave. They kept getting underfoot to the point that Marcus was getting annoyed enough his 'excuse me's had turned into angry glares and grunts. Carrying the wood that had been unused to the covered area, the rain was supposed to come. A thunk, wood went down before he was off to help cover the work space with plastic.
By the time they finished it just begun to rain. By the time Marcus was down from where he'd been fastening plastic, he was soaked. Super fun times.
