Soooo. I bought this book a little while back....and I haven't gotten very far in it. However, came home today to see my mom reading it, and she's like "This is racy!" and was saying that I probably wouldn't wanna read it xD
But then I'm like mom...I'm 21....I bought the book all by myself. I've probably read worse things. >_> Silly mom. Anyway, anybody read this/opinion about it? I know it's "adult" literature, soooooo yeah, there's the warning.

I've read some excerpts. Some fairly long ones, equaling several pages of the book.
It's bad, prosey fanfiction. Seriously, it actually is fanfiction with the names changed. It's not even good fanfiction, it's like it was written by a fourteen-year-old.
I'm not exactly a fan.

Yea i havent read it but ive seen parts and heard a lot of ppl talk about it. I agree that it seems like bad fanfiction and it seems like its mostly something middle aged women can read thats a bit risque. I DO think its good in the sense that people are coming out and saying they're reading something like this and its being accepted. kind of makes it seem like we're moving forward in terms of what we can talk about in society instead of just having to be taboo. definitely form your own opinion and read the book if you want but i know i won;t be reading it XD

Just bad porn. xd Which has it's place in the world, don't get me wrong, I just would never pay money for it... and Fifty Shades has sparked some issues. I do like the discussion it's generated. If you've already bought it you might as well read it and enjoy what you can of it.

ShadowedMoonlight I'm actually familiar with fanfiction that's been self-published and stuff like that, but nothing on this scale. I know some epic fanfiction that should totally be published, it's just that this book does not even come close to the level of quality. Just goes to show, popularity isn't really an indicator of quality. Well, if I can harness the same phenomenon (and my army of awesome guildies ninja ) to make the same happen for what I'm writing, we'll all be good~ And by we, I mean I. But by extension, we~

my grams was wanting me to put it on her kindle... i'm like lets try FREE books, i 'm not going to buy anybooks
and then one of the ladies is like DON"T LET HER READ IT... i like the dirty stuff but NO, i draw a line at that... and grams still wants to read it after that lady said all kinds of things about it and whatnot... so yeah
not gonna read it... i have a bf... so why need porn/?
