Akki: Freedom! Well sort of. Nicohlas rolled into Tandy's, a local fabric and craft store that boasted the largest assortment of different materials. It was one of the few places that Nicohlas was allowed to roam unattended by his fathering brother. So long as he didn't leave the store, he could spend as much time as he wanted here! Nicohlas rolled his chair down a aisle filled with decorative buttons. Pausing at a display, he reached up to finger some velvet covered buttons of navy blue. These would have looked fantastic on a cream colored blouse....Maybe Helena would appreciate it? Oh! or maybe a nice cream colored gown with strips of blue velvet around the waist of the bodice! The buttons could serve as decorative covers to a lace up back... Grinning eagerly Nicohlas pulled off a dozen of the button tags and dropped them into a little hand basket in his lap. Now! he needed to find the right material... Nicohlas leaned back in his chair, and in a move that probably would have had Nathan howling about adding back wheels to his chair, he tilted his chair up onto it's two large wheels and spun himself expertly about. Flicking his wheels with is palms. Nicohlas zoomed down the aisle and towards a cross aisle marked with a hanging sign declaring 'Silks'
Lural: Damon was still wrapping his head around things. This city... it was pretty strange. He couldn't get the night in the graveyard out of his head, but he managed not to speak of it to his temporary family, sure they'd throw him out- Even though they'd been pretty nice about his storming out. In fact, when he'd returned, Frank, his temporary father figure, had suggested they 'start fresh' in the morning. After all, Damon had just arrived from across the country, his new family felt they had pushed him. It all surprised him.
It still surprised him, and this had been a few weeks now. Nothing that strange had happened since, but he kept that strange silver charm with him, feeling that... throwing it away would be loosing something very important.
Today though, since there was no school, Damon had decided to venture out again. His foster parents dropped him off at the fabric store while they ran some errands. He was browsing the various sections, looking at the cloth. He wanted to try and make something, but he wasn't sure what. He found himself walking through rows of vividly colored silks. Damon paused, inadvertently standing under an air vent. His fine brown hair blew about his head in soft wisps.
Akki: Nicohlas managed to get a few feet down the aisle before his fingers clenched the wheels of his chair and came to a quick stop. Normally the people he saw in the store were little old ladies, or young girls who would one day become those little old ladies. So to see a young man was startling...and such a striking one! Nicohlas blinked his eyes a few times as he watched the way the young mans hair was waved around by the flow of air. He looked handsome enough to be a model!
He would have looked stunning in the black and purple suit that Nico had sketched just a few days ago. He could just see the inlaid stitching design of stars and streaks glittering in silver over the black length of the legs. The matching design on the sleeves. The low cut front with the high collar. All lined in rich purple... he would look just like one of those romantic interests in the dating sims he wasn't supposed to be playing when no one was around.
When Nicohlas realized that he was staring at the boy, he gave his small shake of his head. With a push of his palms, he rolled gently over to the standing boy and glanced up at the folded materials. "Ah...excuse me?" He spoke to the boy. His silver eyes kept being drawn to the other boy's profile. He was just so photogenic! Nicohlas lifted his hand to point at one of the off white bolts of material. "Would you do me a favor and hand me that?"
Lural: He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that Damon at first didn't notice the wheelchair bound boy as he rolled closer. When the younger spoke to him, Damon blinked his steel-lavender eyes and looked at him. "Hm?" Damon glanced to what the boy was pointing at. "Oh!" Obviously he needed help with the bolt of cloth. "Which one did you want? This purple one?" He couldn't tell which one the boy was pointing at. For some reason, Damon felt quite awkward. Since moving here, he didn't really talk to too many people. He didn't see the point of getting to know the kids at school. He'd just move soon again anyways. It always happened. But now that he was confronted with speaking to someone near his own age again, he felt... lost.
Akki: Nicohlas wondered a bit, about what the other had been thinking about. He clearly had been caught up in it of course. Still... what if it had been something important? Like what material would work best with whatever he was going to be wearing? "I am sorry if I interrupted your thoughts." He apologized first, then with a faint grin he nodded a little to the left. "No no. not the purple. Though it's nice and all. But I need the cream colored bolt there. I think it's called....Sirens Hair?" Nicohlas shook his head a little. "I do wonder who they hire to name these colors..."
Lural: "Flamboyant designers." Damon replied without thinking as he reached for the creamy cloth. He had just lifted it up when he realized what he said, and shook his head. Whatever. "Ah, don't worry. I'm mostly just... looking around." He handed the boy the bolt of cloth. "... you ok with that?" He wasn't sure how the other would hold the cloth and, well, move.
Akki: Nicohlas couldn't stop himself from grinning. Flamboyant designers indeed! "Well, I'll make certain that, if I ever create a new color, I won't name it something silly." He said as he accepted the bolt of cloth from Damon. Nico's eyes flicked over the cloth as he ran his thumb over it. "Yes. I think this will be perfect. Thanks very much." Amid his thanking, Nicohlas found himself admiring just the simple manner the other stood. it was like he even stood perfectly for a runway! "Uhm...if....your looking for anything in general....maybe I could help you?"
Lural: "Promise?" He asked when the other said he wouldn't make a stupid color name. Now he felt really self conscious. Damon ran a hand through his hair nervously, glancing away. "Well... I wasn't..." He bit his lip. "I don't really know what I'm looking for. I was just... looking. I want to make something but I'm kind of uninspired. Or something like that." Maybe he just wasn't good at arts and crafts.
Akki: Nicohlas gave a small laugh when asked if he would promise. Nodding his lavender haired head he folded his arms over the bolt. "Of course. This is -clearly- Virgin Maiden Hair." He attempted to joke lightly. Though it was hard to remain in a joking mood when the other boy seemed to become so uncomfortable. Nicohlas placed his hand on his chairs wheel and turned him a little towards Damon. "Well, I'm Nicohlas, and I'm usually pretty full of inspiration and ideas. Maybe I could help you?"
Lural: Damon only stared at the other a moment at the name. "... I don't think so, Nicholas. Virgin implies pure. That's off white, so she's been tainted. There or it's likely tainted maiden." The hell conversation was this? "I'm Damon." He offered after a moment's thought, scratching the back of his head again. "I guess a little help wouldn't hurt. I want to make something for someone." Way to be specific, Mr. vague.
Akki: Well...he wasn't funny. That much was clear. Still, Nicohlas continued to smile while Damon introduced himself. Nico inhaled a little and looked at the cloth on the wall. "Well, having a person in mind is always a good start. What sort of person is it? A guy or girl? Do you know their favorite color? Do you want to make them something to wear, or something to use, or just a little display thing? A collectable?"
Lural: Damon again looked bewildered. "Um... she's 11. She likes... cute things." It was so hard because he didn't know Julie, his foster sister, very well yet. But he sort of wanted to make the effort to at least be kind of nice to her. This was the first time a foster family he'd been with had a child of their own. So Damon wanted to be in her good graces. And she was sweet. "But I don't know colors or anything. ... She likes bunnies though."
Akki: Nicohlas began to thrum his fingers on the bolt of cloth he had on his lap. A eleven year old girl that liked bunnies? "Well I could help you find a design for a cute little bunny doll....or I could help you get what you need to make her a bunny hoodie?" He suggested with a small smile. "Or a Bunny shoulder bag is neat! Oh! Bunny slippers of course, but I usually stay away from shoes since they are so hard to make certain they are going to fit properly. What about a little bunny shirt?"
Lural: That was a lot of options. Damon hadn't really thought of that. He was just... well, he didn't know what he was thinking. "I wouldn't know what size clothes she wears." It's not like he bothered to ask. "A doll sounds easy enough. I think she'd like that. She has a few plush things." He was easing up a little around this kid.
Akki: Nicohlas found the idea of making a doll almost...perfect. His silvery eyes lit up as he reached his hand up to grasp at Damon's shirt sleeve. "That's perfect! That is why I'm here even. I'm making dolls for my friends. Come on. I'll show you where to find the designs for the dolls. I am positive they have a bunny one somewhere. Oh! And we can pick out the stuffing and the material color! Maybe a little pink bunny? Or how about a green one? I almost never see green bunnies!" Okay...so maybe Nicohlas was getting a -little- too caught up in someone else's project...but he was happy to have found someone to talk to about sewing!
Lural: "I-" He was cut off when Nicholas grabbed his sleeve. He wasn't sure he liked that, but the other was so excited, it was hard to be irritated. "A green bunny? I was thinking more like, I donno, white or something. But I think she'd like pink. ... Maybe a pink terrycloth bunny?" At least then it would be soft. There was a tentative smile on his face as he saw just how eager Nico was.
Akki: "Pink terrycloth is a good choice." He replied with such a happy note to his voice. As Nico slowly rolled himself over to the patter sections he started to scan the displays of paper packets. "How big do you want to make it by the way? Something small or big enough to have pillow fights with?" He asked as he looked over a few of the designs. He eyed one that seemed a bit overkill in size...but who knew? He had seen a Spacebook photo once of a guy who made a penguin so big he was able to hide inside it and waddled around, much to the shrieking laughs of delight of his daughter.
Lural: "Erm..." Damon thought about it. He didn't want it to take forever. "Small. Something she can carry around if she wanted to. Maybe big enough to use as a pillow, but that's pushing it."
Akki: Nicoh continues to look over the selection, then pointed at some just a little above his reach. "There...Those ones look about right... Let's see...I see a Standing bunny, a nibbling bunny, and a huggy bunny..." His lips quirked at the names. From what he could see, Standing was a traditional pose. Nibbling had the bunny holding a small carrot to it's mouth, and Huggy had it's arms opened wide as if it were about to attack the girl with a flying face hug.
Lural: "I thought it was going to be something... floppy. Like a ragdoll. Not one in a forced pose." Damon was really confused on the way of plush things. He thought everything was like the old stuffed lizard he'd had as a child. It was lost in one of his moves, but such was life.
Akki: Nicohlas waved his hand at the designs and did his best not to launch into 'lecture mode'. That would be based on your stuffing choice. if you put too much in, then it will be stiff and rigid. it won't move or be, as you call it, floppy. The poses are just the start. Even floppy dolls have some sort of minor pose...it sounds like you'd be happier with a traditional one though, so I'd suggest the Standing bunny. Then, when you pick the stuffing, you only put in enough to fill in the insides. But don't stuff it too much. Hmm... but you gotta put enough in that, after a few weeks of love, it hasn't become all compressed and flat."
Lural: "Why is this s**t so complicated..." Damon sighed and fussed with his hair again. Oh man, if his boss saw him today, he'd be riding his a** about not messing with his hair so much. At least he didn't have the annoying habit of touching his face when he was thinking, unlike some of the others. He reached up and picked up a basic pose bunny. "12 inches tall. That sounds about good..."
Akki: Nicohlas couldn't help but look at Damon with a faint smile. "Well, if it easy it wouldn't be a hobby. It would be... well... something else entirely." H pushed himself back a bit and grinned. "Don't worry. I make stuff like this all the time, I'll help you through any hard parts or questions you have. How's that sound?"
Lural: "I'm not sure about that." He'd have to get Linda's approval. That was another thing. He couldn't have friends really without his social worker's approval. At least not if he wanted to see them outside of school. It just wasn't worth the trouble if he was just going to move again soon. "This isn't really a hobby." It was just something new he was trying. "All I've done before is hem things and sew patches on stuff."
Akki: Nicohlas leaned back in his chair as he smiled faintly at Damon. "I swear...I'm not a crazy loon or anything. I don't stalk people and I don't steal things. I just want to help is all. I've never seen a guy near my age in here before and it's great. Usually there are only girls." He paused and glanced about to make sure none were within hearing range. "I mean, girls are okay and all but, if they want to talk about what guy is cuter can't they leave that for the girls bathrooms at school? That -is- what they do in there right?"
Lural: He couldn't help but laugh at that. "Do I look like I have tits? What would I know of what they talk about in there?" Though he could understand that. "But I guess craft things like this is more... girly?" Not like the people who designed real clothes. This was just girls playing pretend anyways, right?
Akki: Hearing Damon laugh made Nicohlas's lips jump up. Where he had failed before, he clearly had managed now. Maybe Damon just needed a little bit to loosen up? Nicohlas knew that if they had been anywhere else but a place like this he might have been a bit on guard as well. So when asked if the other had breasts, he actually leaned forwards to look at Damon's chest. "Well if you do you hide them -really- well." He said with a grin. "But...yeah..." Now that he was considering his hobby he looked at the material in his lap. "But girls do seem to appreciate gifts like this a lot more then guys do...and I really do like making things with my hands. There is some sort of proud feeling when I see someone wearing a gift I make them. It means, to me, that I understand a little something about them."
Lural: "Oh yeah, it's cause I tape them up." He said, running his hand up his chest, the hem of his shirt rising with the motion, showing off a hint of his flat belly before it was allowed to fall again. Suddenly, Nicohlas seemed to droop.
"...Do you make gifts for people then? Things that guys don't like. You said you were here to make dolls, right?"
Akki: It was funny, and Nicohlas made a clear effort to at least giggle at Damon when he answered. He liked the playful back and forth. It made him feel more comfortable talking to this strange boy. But when they started talking about the things he made...well he could only half smile at the other. "I do." He admitted with a nod. "All the time. Cloths and keepsakes. Like...the dolls I am making now are from the last Christmas dance. I'm going to make dolls of all my friends wearing the same outfits they had been at the dance. Though...just about all my friends are sort of girls. I mean... I have my brother who wears my shirts and ties, but I think he just feels obliged. Most guys look at me weird if I ask for their measurements."
Lural: "Well it is a little weird to get clothes from another dude. Specially just randomly." He knew that he'd feel weird about that too if one of his friends suddenly asked. "Christmas, huh? Oh, you have a brother?"
Akki: Nicohlas nodded his head and pondered explaining more. After all... when you had enough money to buy anything...the gifts sort of lost that personal touch. To actually spend the time making them. That is what made a gift worth giving in his mind. Nicoh's head gave a small nod. "Yes. A older brother. His name is Nathan." His hand lifted up to pick at his pale hair. "His hair is a lot darker then mine, and much longer. But we have the same color eyes. You'll probably see him outside when you leave. Nathan says this is my shrine or something, so he doesn't bother me here."
Lural: "Probably thinks it's too girly for him then." Damon snorted. He could kind of see that. There was a lot of /pink/ in the store. Then again, the next major holiday was valentines day. "So he's just waiting for you outside?" Or maybe he was picking Nico up, and Damon was making him late.
Akki: Nicoh's head bobbed as he eyed some of the patterns on the wall for possible ideas later. "Mmmm. Yeah. He says he's running errands, but it's kinda hard for him to do that when the car is still parked outside. So unless the errands he is all running are in his mind he is really just making up an excuse to pretend not being out there." He paused and picked up a little frog design to inspect the back before putting it back. "So hey...wanna pick out stuffing for the bunny?"
Lural: "He sounds like a helicopter. Hovering around you and all." He shrugged. "But whatever." It wasn't his issue. "Stuffing... sure. And probably the cloth. But if you need to leave, that's cool too."
Akki: A helicopter...that was almost a good description. Nicohlas's lips twitched upwards some as he turned about in his chair. "No no. I'm in no hurry. I've spent two or three hours in here before. It's Nathan's choice to wait for me." He explained as he rolled towards the stuffing bins. "Besides, I'm having fun helping you. Do you want suggestions on thread too? What about stitches? Are you gonna make it by hand or machine?"
Lural: "I've got a machine." He replied. It was the one thing he ever felt was truly his. After his mother died, he kept the machine. She had loved to sew, and Damon was determined to learn too. And he had. Some. Each move, he worried about it breaking, but it was a tough piece of metal. "Though I should get some oil for it." Oh that probably dated it. So many of the new machines didn't use oil.
Akki: "Oil?" That confused Nicohlas a little bit. He had never heard of oiling a machine...well... it -was- a machine now that he thought of it. "I bet there is some around here somewhere. I've never had to oil my machine before...course I tend to replace mine in every few years. So I guess I don't keep them long enough to need maintenance." Nico paused as he reached the bags of stuffing, and he started to point out the 'clear' difference between the cheap quality and the higher quality of stuffing. "I'd suggest some of the thicker stuff, not that cheap plastic thread stuffing. It'll clean easier in the washing machine and won't clump up into little hard balls after a week."
Lural: Damon's expression turned a little jaded when Nico said he replaced his machines every few years. He suddenly wondered if his family spoiled him. It would explain the private ... body guard of his brother, and the machines- they weren't cheap! Did his family feel sorry for him because he was in a wheelchair? He didn't realize it, but his face had turned into a frown the more he thought. Nico wasn't anything different or special. He got around just like everyone else. Maybe a little weird for making dolls and clothes, but moot's the point!
Akki: He had said something wrong. It was so obvious the way Damon lost that almost open feeling. He didn't understand what he had said wrong, and it bothered him. Nicohlas watched the other boy, feeling unhappy until he considered... "If....you don't have enough for the more expensive stuff...I could split a bag with you?" Maybe that was it? Here he was making all these suggestions and it never occurred to him that Damon may not have enough money to buy things without considering the cost.
Lural: "I don't need charity." He said and looked away. He wasn't poor! At least, not for now. He had a job, and a damn good one! Wait, he shouldn't be mad about that. "If your sewing machine works, you shouldn't just throw it away." He sighed.
Akki: That tone of voice, and that response, was something that Nicohlas had heard before. Sometimes he felt thoughtless in his offers to buy people things. Honestly though, he was only going to use his allowance on manga and anime. It felt like a waste not to offer them the option to put the money to better use. Still, he knew that other people saw his attempt to share as something else. It made him feel ashamed of himself. Ashamed over the fact he did have money. Nicohlas' eyes fell away from Damon so he could compose himself without unintentionally attempting to garner sympathy on top of his thoughtlessness. "Oh... I don't throw it away when I replace it. I just have it donated to one of those goodwill places, along with most of the stuff I make that are not actual gifts." He paused and then brightened up some as he looked at the material in his lap. "I got a thank you card last year for all the suits I donated, I guess they came in handy for the prom rush." Nico thrummed his fingers over the material again. "So... uhm... I think... after this you just need material right?"
Lural: Damon hadn't meant to sound... snappish. But the way Nicholas had said things made it seem as though he just had money to throw every which way at any stranger who looked like they needed a hand out. He ran his fingers through his hair again and gave the boy a faint smile as they changed subjects back to the sewing project. "According to the packaging, I'll also need buttons for eyes."
Akki: Nicohlas released a breath he had not realized he had been holding. Damon had let the whole thing go...and he was quick to seize on the opportunity to repair whatever had seemed to have fallen apart. "Alright! You wanted terrycloth, that's over here." He explained as he started to roll, maybe a little more quickly then normal, down the aisle. "It's by the baby print fabric for some weird reason..." He explained just to keep a voice going on what seemed to be a friendly subject.
Lural: "Probably because it's a soft material for baby clothes, and towels." Damon was still having a hard time with the fact that this boy was so damn bubbly and friendly. He didn't want to think he was making a friend, really. It would just make moving harder. "It's like why the sequined material is near the spandex. For gymnastics and ice skating costumes."
Akki: "Oooh...yes that would make sense." He replied after he heard Damon explain it. His head turned up and down the aisles before he gave a small laugh. "If I ran a store like this I'd make a terrible mess of it. I'd just color code it and put it in alphabetical order or something." He glanced at the pink terry cloth choices and tilted his head. "Hmmm... I think the pale pinks look nice...I think that one is called ballerina pink?" His eyes lifted to look towards Damon for a desperate sign that things were... well... not ruined. That he had not made the only guy he'd seen here have a grudge against him.
Lural: "You know, I'm able to read the names of the bolts myself." He resisted the urge to pat the kid on the head. "Though I prefer not to. I think we covered that I find color names stupid." He looked over the colors. "She'd actually like the hot pink more though." Damon carefully lifted the bolt from the rack and hefted it over his shoulder. "Guess now I just need buttons and thread."
And then it would be time to go home. And he'd never see the kid again, right?
Akki: Nicohlas's cheeks...were currently ballerina pink. "O-of course....My apologies" He replied with just the smallest squeak to his voice. He tried to smile though as Damon made a effort to make a joke. He thought...
"Hmm... buttons are over here..." He said as he rolled carefully to the large display. "Ah, what about the shiny ones that look like real eyes?"
Lural: "Girls don't fine 'real eyes' creepy, do they?" He knew some did. But some didn't. But some found the 4 hole button eyes creepy. s**t. Now he really didn't know! "Maybe just basic black rounds... Simple, classic..."
Akki: Nicohlas leaned up to look hard at a pair of eyes that... stared... right... back... like a dead thing...with a violent shudder Nicohlas sat back in his chair, feeling a bit pale as he replied. "Uhm...Not sure...but I think I do...so it's a safe bet girls will too." What was he going to do for the eyes of his dance dolls then? Nicohlas looked at the bolt in his lap and decided...fabric markers...
Lural: "So you're saying you're a girl?" He teased, selecting some shiny round buttons. They were even on sale. Score.
Akki: Nicohlas felt he was at a crossroads. Either he outright denied it and made some sort of football/hockey/fist punching comment...oooor... Nicoh turned in his chair, tilted his head and flashed his most winning smile. "Well either that or I'm the -prettiest- boy in the store...not counting you." He said with a grin.
Lural: Damon let out a laugh. That was a great reply. "Well I will give you that." Seeing as there were no other males in the store- not even employees that he could see. He didn't think about the round about way that he just said Nico was pretty.
Akki: The laugh was good. The agreement.... well hmmm...now Nicohlas was apparently doing his best to look hot pink now. Clearing his throat he looked around for the thread. "Gotcha...so... buttons and cloth....last on your list is the thread."
Lural: Damon jerked his thumb behind him. "S'there." He was trying not to laugh, looking at the boy who's face was now bright pink.
Akki: Gah! His ears were so hot! Nicohlas just knew his face had to be so red! "They need to...turn the AC up in here.." He mumbled as he turned around to eye the stacks of thread. He already had plenty of his own but...it kept his hands busy by picking up the different spools and eyeing the weird names given to them.
Lural: "... Sorry if I'm teasing you." He finally said and looked to the thread. "It was just... kinda fun watching you blush."
Akki: Nicohlas paused and put the thread back in it's place. "Actually...you don't have to apologize. It's nice being teased. It's -normal- to be teased." His eyes lifted to look up at Damon with such delight. "Could we...hang out again? I mean... we could just talk about sewing..."
Lural: Damon stared at him. Yeah, being teased, and teasing WAS normal. ... Oh, well, he supposed a lot of people would feel bad teasing a crippled kid or something. Though he imagined Nico just wanted to be treated like everyone else... like he did.
"Sure I guess. I can tell you how she likes the bunny."
Akki: He had hoped Damon would say yes, but had honestly been prepared for an excuse. So when he did indeed agree, Nicohlas's eyes brightened further. he reached for the small pocket on the inside of his chair so quickly that the bolt of cloth slipped off his lap and clunked on the floor. Not that Nicohlas even bothered to try and grab it. he dug out a small notepad, and a pen that depicted a rather questionably posed anime boy wrapped in what may have been bed sheets with feathers all around him. "I'll give you my cell phone number and email! If you have any problems or questions you can ask me anything at all!"
Lural: Damon eyed the notepad and suppressed the urge to smirk. He... no, never mind. "Yeah, sure. Make sure to give me your name too, cause chances are I'll look at it and be like "Who's number is this?" and just... lose it." He also needed a last name for his social worker to check up on.
Akki: Nicohlas finished writing his information down with a little flourish of the pen. At the suggestion of the name he added Nicohlas...then after a hesitated tremble of the pen, added Montibello in a bit of a smaller script. Folding the paper up he handed it up to Damon. "So... can I have your information?"
Lural: He hesitated a moment. He really shouldn't. But he took the paper and, well, when did he ever really follow the rules? "Yeah, let me see your notepad?" A phone number couldn't hurt. It was just his call... not like that was a problem, right?
Akki: Nicohlas handed the pad over and smiled as Damon would write the number for him. His fingers curled happily while waiting for the other to hand it back. "I promise not to call late or.. uhm.. well.. a lot..." He couldn't believe he was actually getting Damon's number!
Lural: "No problem. If I don't answer, just leave a message. Or you can text me or something. Texting might work better cause then you won't have to hold the phone to your face for hours." He handed the paper back with his first and last name, and number. As well as a little scribble that stated he liked the pen. When he handed back the items. Damon picked up Nico's dropped cloth and handed it back.
Akki: Nicohlas took back his pen and pad. He didn't glance at the little scribble closely, as he was simply too happy over the fact he had a friend to add to his cell phone. Later though, when he glanced at the pad, he'd have a happy moment for sure. "Texting sounds fun! I'll give it a try tonight after dinner if that's okay with you?" He paused when Damon handed him back the cloth. Nico wrapped a arm around it, and turned his beaming face back to the other. "I'm really glad to have met you Damon."
Lural: "Yeah sure. Any time." He paused and had to wonder if Nico had any friends now. He just seemed so... happy over having one simple little friend. And they weren't even that yet. Nope. Not at all. Not even close. They were strangers in a fabric store with virgin silk and hooker pink towel cloth.
Nothing strange about that at all.
Akki: Nicohlas placed his hand over his cloth and additional purchases to keep them in place. Rolling towards the check out, he decided he needed to make a quick exit. He wanted to get out of the store and gone before Nathan had a chance to see Damon...or before Damon had a chance to see the Rolls Royce waiting in the handicapped parking spot in front of the store...
