After his encounter with Arcadie, Asch had gone to his hiding hole... aka his room, and set about looking up information on one Yuri Lowell. He first found his military record which was... interesting to say the least. Although certainly not what he had been expecting. The man didn't have any significant rank at all in the Guarde. So then, why this sword? Also, it seemed that this person had a criminal history as well. Asch didn't even bother to count how many times it was listed that Lowell had been confined, anywhere from over night to ten days. His offenses were mostly just minor petty crimes. Still, it was odd. Probably just some crazy do-gooder. However, after a few hours at work, Asch had gathered up enough information that he felt confident that he'd be able to find him.
Now... there was another matter to attend to. One that Asch didn't particularly relish. His eyes rested on the luxury ball that he'd set on his desk, and sighed. Why did these things happen to him? Couldn't his idiot brother handle his own Pokemon? It seems that he and his friends were very inept at protecting even their own creatures.
Might as well get this over with.
Asch picked up the ball and pressed the trigger to release the Flareon.

Said Flareon had been expected to be confined to his pokeball for a long time before seeing the outside again, so the sudden brightness of the room he found himself in took him by surprise. Mieu quickly found his bearings - it seemed to be a closed off room with no immediately visible means of escape - and tensed in preparation for fight or flight if the need presented itself, his eyes alight with a feral fire that was unusual for the pokemon. He made no physical threat for the moment, nor did he make any indication of fear.

Asch looked at the Flareon with disinterest, sitting in his deskside chair as he observed the Pokemon for a moment. Well it wasn't outright attacking him or trying to dig its way out of his room at least. So that was good. He might as well give the thing a brief overview of what he expected. The Pokemon was clearly unhappy though, which was to be expected.
"Look, I'm not any happier about this than you are. But if you want to have any small hope of seeing that fool brother of mine again, then you had better cooperate. If you give me -any- trouble then I'll just put you in storage and you'll never seem him again, got it? I don't give a damn about what happens to you. I don't mind feeding you or letting you out of your ball, but you have to behave yourself. Am I clear?"

Mieu was fairly certain he was substantially less happy about this than Asch was. He flicked his tail, a subconscious indication that he was listening to what was being said, but otherwise did not move. The Flareon's stare was intent; he wasn't willing to accept that he was at the mercy of the person that was always so cruel to Master and his friend. 'Behave' was a vague word that could have meant anything from do not use Flamethrower in the room to answer any given beck and call. The fire-type was far from resigning his will.

And Asch was fairly certain that Mieu didn't know what real cruelty was. That Pokemon had been just as pampered and sheltered as the boy he had grown up with. Just looking at it made him sick, but he didn't look away. Instead he just fixed Mieu with a hard stare.

The Flareon continued to match his company's gaze unyieldingly. When it appeared nothing would come of the staring contest, Mieu began to move, maneuvering slowly towards the bed to place himself in its shadow. He continued to watch closely as he went, anticipating any movements or indications that he would be returned indefinitely to his pokeball.

Asch watched Mieu for a moment before huffing and looking away. It seems they had an understanding... of sorts. Rising to his feet, Asch moves around the room, picking up his sword and the one that belongs to the Lowell guy, his pokeballs and whatever else he needed. There were things he had to do, and watching Mieu was not one of them.
The red head then released one of the Pokemon in the balls, and a Zoroark stood before him. He tossed Saber the luxury ball and glanced in the direction of Mieu.
"Watch him."
Saber looked over towards the Flareon and sighed. Another one?
