:3 This was an awesome series. It -- almost -- rivaled Song of the Lioness! Aly was a very unique character and I enjoyed that. n.n;;

But I don't think he stopped being amusing, we just didn't get to see him at it. crying

Ok, I have a slight dislike for Aly already. She seems to be wasting the oppurtunites that her mother would have longed to have. Alanna would have taken advantage of everything that Tortall has to offer with Jon at the throne if she were Aly's age. But Aly doesn't. She takes it all for granted, forgetting how hard her own mother worked to earn her the right to do the same work as men. Alanna should have been Aly's daughter; Alanna would have taken the chances that Alyy wasted.
And a note that doesn't make sense-George buys Aly "Workbook for a young spy" Then doesn't want her to be a spy. So confusing!
I like Dove more than Sarai already. Sarai is too...beautiful. She gets the credit for evrything because of her beauty. I've only read 5 chapters and I've got this far? Wait until I finish the whole book. You'll be in for a whole lot of ranting.

catz_rocks Ok, I have a slight dislike for Aly already. She seems to be wasting the oppurtunites that her mother would have longed to have. I just finished it (for the second time) and I felt the same thing near the beginning. At the end, I changed my mind though, so you should try to finish and see what you think then. catz_rocks And a note that doesn't make sense-George buys Aly "Workbook for a young spy" Then doesn't want her to be a spy. So confusing! I think it says (you know in the quotes/letters at the beginning of each chapter) that George wrote it for her when she was a child. I have a feeling he didn't think she would want to e a spy so bad.
