The night was the best time to move around but also the most dangerous for a cheetah like him. Lions moved around at night too and in the darkness they could be difficult to see. If he wasn't being careful he could easily run right into one or more than one and that could be disasterous for him.
He was being rather wary of open spaces tonight even with the full moon above to light his way. He was moving through a thick cluster of acacia trees and listening for any movement that could signal someone approaching. He wished there could be days as cool as nights so he could run through the savannah grass and not get exhausted or too hot by the extreme heat coming off the sun. A cheetah could dream but that didn't mean it would ever come true.

 Anjolie had been prowling through the thick tall grasses. Having strayed far from her area of security she was making it her goal to keep a low profile, move with stealth and care to not attract the eye of somebody who could cause he problems. That would be the last thing she wanted. She was far more the nurturing type than the type to win a fight with anyone, unless it were a verbal fight of course. She may stand a chance then.
She froze in her tracks, her ears standing high in attention while she kept her body low. She could see the cluster of trees up ahead but she could also feel the presence of another. At the moment she wasn't quite sure what to make of the development. For now she kept herself low to the ground, moving slower than before, moving in closer and closer at a steady pace to see what lay up ahead.

Buluu stopped at the sound of rustling close near by. He turned his head in the direction of the rustling and then moments later he jumped into a bush and attacked the rabbit that was sifting through the brush. The rabbit didn't have a chance as Buluu's jaws snapped right around the rabbits middle.
The rabbits legs jerked as the rabbit tried to get free of Buluu's jaws. Buluu had a good hold on the rabbit with his teeth digging deep into the rabbit's flesh. Even as the rabbit landed a few good hits with it's back legs to his lower jaw Buluu was slowly suffocating the rabbit by not allowing the rabbit to get air into his lungs. After a moment he dropped the rabbit onto the ground. It squirmed for a few moments but didn't get anywhere as Buluu held it down with his paw.

She had pressed on, moving closer and closer to the scent she had caught up again. Getting close enough to just be able to see she pressed her body down low against the ground, watching, finally able to see what was up ahead of her. Her eyes catching the cheetah who was seemingly hunting down his dinner. Her ears gave the smallest flick, her eyes lighting up with interest, not in the pray but in the male.
Not wanting to startle the male and come off as a threat she moved around him in a slow and quiet circle. Was she was in a position to head up to him face to face she stood, leaving her position of being crouched against the ground. Standing she could see him much better. She kept a calm feel to herself as she made her way closer to him, knowing standing he could see her a lot sooner than if she were crouched down. "Excuse me..?" She questioned softly, hoping her voice found him before anything bad could happen.Izzy Makani Sorry about the slow, I'll be away on vacation from the 12th to the 16th so I may not be able to reply in that time since I'll only have mobile internet access.

Buluu waited only long enough for the rabbit to stop moving before he laid down next to it and began eating it. He had gotten in several good bites before he heard the voice of a female and tensed up. He was nervous that the voice might belong to someone bigger than him who had come in to take his prize even if it was a small prize. He knew most would try to take it from him no matter how little it was.
"What do you want?" He snapped very defensively. He was intent to defend his prize only if the individual was small enough he could fight her off. He could see a silhouette of her and she looked to be about his size if not a little smaller so he had a feeling he could fight her off if she tried to take his food.JulianMoMo No problem.
