    The sun was shinning brightly over the lake. It was warm out, but not excessively hot. A cool breeze kept the temperature perfect. It was a nice day for a outing to the lake. Or at least, Blood though, the perfect day outside to tire the little rugrats out. Spotting a familiar shape in the distance, Devon crouched down low. Slowly he crept closer and closer. Then he pounced, hitting Kane right in the side and the two went tumbling into the lake. Laughing, Kane tossed Devon aside and proceeded to splash him.Sitting in the shade of one of the old trees, Boris waved Blood and Serena over.

  Grumbling, Serena padded over to the large tree and plopped down, a little off to the side. She really did not want to be here. However, since the fathers of the brats knew each other and no doubt would be discussing different matters, the female supposed that someone had to watch the kids. Good parenting or some crap like that.Wren pulled a face as she saw the boys rough-housing in the water. No way was she going to get wet. The kid made her way over to a fallen log and scrambled up it, perching on the top to get a better view of what was around.

   Soul followed her father and mother quietly. She watched as one of her siblings ran off to tackle a kit she knew to be his friend then watched as her sister headed off on her own. She gave a bit of a sigh and took a spot slightly behind her father to lay down and listen to the adults. Ebbin had left Zuper at home and even though the morning was a bit too warm for her taste she had headed out to spend time with her kits and the father of them. When she and Dabog had arrived it seemed that almost everyone was there already. The only one that was missing was her independent daughter that had hidden herself away in the lamp when asked if she wanted to come out and play with the others.
When Ebbin saw the two little males splashing around she could not help but laugh and when she stole a look at the adults she figured it might be more fun to stay with the kits. She suspected that the one in the hat was Blood...a 'friend' of Boris. "Come on Dabog lets go play with your brother and his friend." Dabog grinned as he saw his brother and some kit he did not know. He smiled at his mother and gave a nod before he raced down towards the edge of the lake and the other boys. He splashed right into the water and smiled as his entrance splashed both of the other males.

Blood took a moment to glance around, noting where all the players settled. He had to suppress a laugh as he watched Serena. She frequently amused him at her parenting endeavors.
Boris chuckled to himself as he watched the kits splashing around. He watched them a minute before returning his attention to Blood and resumed their shop talk.
Shaking the water off his head, Kane grinned at his brother. He then pre-pounce wiggled and jumped at his brother.
Devon watched as Kane pounced the other kit. He had only ever met Kane's father before. But from his markings, he waged that the newcomer was Kane's brother. A quick glance at the adult female that was approaching, revealed enough similarities for him to guess that she was their mother.

Serena barely looked as more arrived. The only movement was a twitch of her tail as her daughter came to sit by the father. So she had one daughter near them. Another daughter on a log. And her son was playing in the water with a couple kits and an adult. Surely she could settle in and sleep. Her kids didn't need her. Their father didn't need her. So why was she here again?
Wren made herself comfortable on the log. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted a small insect creep towards her on it. Huffing, she flicked it away. This was her log. She didn't give it permission to sit on it as well.

Soul tried to listen to her father and the other adult male's conversation. Though much of it was lost on her. She sighed a bit and looked over to her sister who was now engaged or what seems to a epic battle with a insect for a log. Didn't the insect have just as much right to be on the log? It was surely large enough. She turned her eyes towards her brother and shook her head, There was no way she was going to get into the water. Maybe she should take a walk around. After all she was not understanding the adult males, her mother looked ready to dose. So the small pink female got up and careful snuck around her parents and started to walk away.
Dabog giggled as his brother wriggled then lept atop him. He laughed and rolled easily onto his back with a gentle mew and a purr. He wriggled just enough to give a playful n** to his brother's ear, his back feet kicking and sending water cascaded agains Devon.
Ebbin laughed softly and stepped into the cool water watching the young males. She smiled at the one who was not her and sent a small wave towards Devon.

Blood watched his daughter with the bug out of the corner of his eye. He could not do anything but smile his twisted smile. This one was going to grow up and be a very interesting player.
Without stopping his conversation, Boris watched as Blood's youngest scampered off. He was sure Blood would notice soon. Nearly ninety percent sure that Blood would let her wander off, at least as far as he would see and hear her. He might act like he does not care, but Boris knew Blood cared for his little family and heaven help those who might try and harm them. So Boris was content to sit back and watch for now.
Following Ebbin's gesture, Devon made his way closer to the others. He drew the line at prancing about in the water, that was beneath him.
Kane laughed, causing to be splashed in his mouth. After a quick cough, he was ready to play again. Spotting Devon sitting on the shoreline, he had an idea. With a covert glance at his brother, he got ready to pounce Devon. He hoped his brother would follow and tag team Devon.
