Omg, I hope they didn't just snip out that panel and not link to the source. I seriously hate when people do that. I mean is it so hard to credit someone's work?

The entire comic is called "How to Suck at Your Religion". The Oatmeal is a good good thing.

I do know that the ultimate value of many religious teachings are difficult to convey to most members of a young audience. So developing alternative means of teaching the same values on principles a youth will understand is certainly valid to an extent, and serves a much needed purpose. This averts from the comic pic to the extent that it's silly, but I feel I've covered the main point as to why.
