It had been quite some time since Vera had met an interesting mare in a grave yard. She had given the mare a list of places she would hang out from time to time to give to one of her daughters but since it had been so long Vera had nearly forgotten about it. Though she had been making an effort not to be in the graveyards too much and try to frequent the places she had listed, just incase the young mare would show up. Though unless she was just like her mother, not that Vera had gotten the best look with only the moon to help her, Vera was sure she would not recognize her.
Today Vera was at a large amphitheater watching some actors practice for a performance. She often helped those in the performing arts and enjoyed helping with the stages so she was allowed to watch mearh practice. Though the large outdoor theater was open to anyone who cared to pass by.

Aranel entered the amphitheater and looked around. Her mother had given her a list of places and a detailed description of a girl that she had met in a graveyard of all places. She chuckled softly to herself. She really shouldn't be so judgmental. Her own fur bore the looks of bats and blood. She had came her to see the mare that had her mother so eager for her to meet. Something about wanting her to have friends. She continued to look around until her eyes found the mare in question. She walked over calmly. "Excuse me, miss, is your name Vera?"

Vera who had been looking at the script for the next performance that would be held at the amphitheater looked up at the bright voice that spoke to her. For a moment she recognized the orange mare before her as the one she had met in the graveyard but the dark markings, which she could not see were bats, were different and there seemed to be splotches of blood on her. So this must be the daughter, Aranel. The bright red mare set the script down and stood up to face the other mare, "Yes that would be me. And you must be Aranel. Your mother spoke very highly of you. It is a pleasure to meet you." She gave a bit of a nod and pushed back her deep grey band of hair that always fell forward.

Aranel smiled and reached out to shake the mare's hand. "My mother is prone to exaggeration, but it's nice to meet you." She looked over the bright red mearh and smiled. It didn't seem like this one played by all the rules. She sat down on the bench her eyes drifting to the script. "Are you to be in a play here?"

Vera shook the mare's hand and watched her sit down, "Your welcome to read it if you like." She shook her head, "No I am not in this one no. I am just reading it to see what props they are going to need. Or costume. I am not sure what they are going to toss my way. Do you act?"

"No I don't, at least not professionally, I'm of the opinion that everyone puts on an act depending on the situation." Aranel picked up the script and scanned through it's pages. "Interesting... so are you the prop master then?"

Vera smiles and gives a nod. "I do believe you are right. Everyone really does act their way threw life." she said gently. She did not complain as she looked over threw the script. "Oh not the master. I just help from time to time. Though from what I looked at it so far in the script I would not mind making the costumes this time around."

Aranel nodded. "Well it seems it would be fun... I understabd you like to spend your time in graveyards, why is that?" She had to admit it had interested her when her mother said that was were they had met. She was a bit curious as to why. She knew her mother's walks often took her to odd places so that part wasn't unusual for her.

Vera raised a brow and looked at Aranel, "Oh my your mother told you everything didn't she?" She gave a soft laugh, "Well I am facinated by them. They are amazing places and rather romantic. I mean some of the things Mearh have said about those they buried are truly beautiful. Have you been to one and really looked around?"

The orange mare let out a laugh. "I'm sorry for that she tends to get carried away when she is excited." She paused to listen to Vera's explaination. "I see... well I can't truthfully say I've spent any time in a graveyard, but I'll have to make a point of stopping by to read the head stones." Aranel looked Vera over once more and smiled. Her mother had been right this mare was indeed interesting.

Vera laughs, "OH my I am shocked she was so excited about me. I guess I am glad that I made a good impression on her." She looked over at the orange mare and shook her head, "It is so sad that you have never really been to one." She reached out and took a hold of the other mare's hand, "Shall we go to one then really quick then we can come back here."

"Added on to the fact that she thinks I'll keep going and always be alone and with out friends adds to it." She paused as she thought about Vera's offer. The mare had been so quick to take hold of her hand, she must be very trusting. "I don't see why not..."

Vera sighs and gives a nod, "Yes my sister is like that from time to time. She seems to think that I shall always be alone and will die that way. She tells me often how much she feels sorry for me." She sighs and stands up, "Well then I would be glad to take you to one. There is one near by." She said softly then headed out along of the amphitheater with the other mare still holding her hand lightly.

Aranel followed Vera out of the amphitheater and into a nearby graveyard. She looked around in silence. Moving down the walkway. "It seems so peaceful here... but it's almost a sad kind of peace..."

Vera give a nod, 'Yes it is a bit sad. Maybe that is why I come here so often. I sometimes feel like being here and remember or acknowledging them I am bring calmer peace. I know it is a bit lame huh?" She smiles and walks along, "But there is so much love here too. She like this pair here." she said and pointed to two head stones next together.
"They lived all their lives together and will continue to be together in the next world."
