One dark night, prior to midnight, Nicholas walks around the streets of the village, gazing around at the night sky and looking around for vampires or any threats of the sort. Adjusting his katana on his belt he walks by a pub, and nods to some of the people that pass by to drink.
Finding a bench to laze on he sits and slouches to take a breather from his walk.

Sky shimmered a moment before watching him."What are you thinking stranger?" she'd asked quietly, her hands slipped into her pockets of her jacket.

He turns his head casually to Sky, "Oh nothing really, just lookin' out for the village. Was hoping to see some action tonite but ah well,... the night's young -anything- can happen" he grins.

She smiled as she took a seat next to him and glanced around the village. She looked up to the sky, seeing the stars twinkle. "Indeed it is a young night...Hopefully no vampire attacks..."

"Hopefully, yeah, one would hope for no bloodshed tonite, but I would protect you if there were." He says as he scoots in a little closer to Sky.

She cuddled close to him, smiling softly. "I wonder where the others are...." she mused to herself...

"maybe sill resting? they seemed pretty torn up,... or ...together" he says hesitantly with a light blush as he looks away inconspicuously. He plays with his hair a little and brushes it back behind his ear.

She giggled at that thought before pushing her own hair back behind her ears. "That'd be kinda of funny since Sy's a tough chic...Though it does seem Luc found his lifemate through her..."

"Yeah, it really does." He looks back and looks into Sky's eyes. A helpless wave of bewilderment (can't think of a word for that emotion when you first see someone -.-) comes over him as he falls silent, just gazing into her eyes with a glazed look, lost in her beauty. He leans in a little closer as if a moth to a flame, but makes his movements slowly. His hand wanders to hover over her hand to touch her skin and feel the warmth again from her skin.

She drew her breath in, not moving before she leaned in and kissed him softly.

The taste of her lips sends a shot to his heart, the flames of passion seem to only start kindling as he wraps his hand around hers and returns her kiss. He lightly pushing her back against the back of the bench and looks back into her eyes wantingly, needingly.

She blinked as she was pushed back before squirming. her eyes held a hint of confusion as she laid there, blinking at him.

He stops and feels like he's crossed the line by the expression on her face.
s**t... he thinks to himself, worried ... confused. had he read her signs wrong? he tilts his head down in shame and lightens his grip on her hand.

She squirmed some, thinking of someplace private rather in the open village. Quietly she cuddled him, not sure what to do or what to say....

He wrapped an arm around her, rubbing her back as she clung to him. Somehow he felt warm again, he gazed down at her and kissed her forhead lightly. "you think we should find somewhere more ... isolated? maybe we could overlook the town and watch the sun-almost-rise? heh"
