Amitiel: *Looked at her a little sad with her words, not liking the idea that she was afraid to talk to him about anything. Being honest, as always, he said just that.* Afraid? I do not like that. I want..... well, I want you to be able to speak your mind to me with ease and freedom. I would never shoot down any of your opinions Cao. Do.... do you not trust at least that much from me? *To say he was pained by the idea was an understatement*
Cam: The look on her mate's face hurt and that was putting it lightly. "Of course I trust you! I trust you with my heart and my life Amitiel. I wouldn't have agreed to be your mate otherwise. It's just a normal fear females have. It doesn't mean I don't want to tell you things. I was thinking about when it would be a good time to bring that up with you. I mean, look at how worried you are now? Not everyone would be as understanding about starting a family at a time like this."
Amitiel: *Felt guilty by her words and expression, moving closer and pulling her close for a deep embrace.* Forgive me. I fear I spoke without thinking first. *He had not scented a lie, never had from her. They had agreed after all that she would simply tell him she was not ready to tell him rather than lie. At least that way he could forever trust in her.* No matter where we are... or what is happening... I would do anything to see you happy and content.
Cam: She smiled up at him, her eyes shining with love and adoration for the angeni who held her. "I want to see foals with a combination of our traits playing and learning from you. I think you'd make a wonderful father Amitiel." (
Amitiel: *Kissed her* Thank you. I believe you will make a most excellent mother. *He blushed a little but didn't stop himself from speaking, it was the only way to make up for his earlier accusation.* I would love to see a little girl as beautiful as her mother, with long locks of purple... as beautiful as the most precious of flowers.
Cam: *giggles and blushes* I hope so. *her eyes get a faraway lookin them as she imagines their children* A boy as honest and kind as his poppa...with a scarf to match yours...
Amitiel: *Chuckled at her imaginings.* A scarf.... the poor little one shall be doomed to a life of sweating then? *He held her closer, kissing up her neck, her cheeks, the corner of her lips.* My dear Cao, *He said softly* you make me happier than you will ever know.
Cam: *smiles* He can take it off whenever he wants to, if he wishes it. *her voice trails off and she realizes something* There's only one problem for now that I can think of. Terra...she may come after them and you because of me. *she frowns* That skinwalker....ever since I protected that foal from her...she's had it in for me...
Amitiel: Unless he is as stubborn as I, you mean? *His brow furrowed at the mention of Terra, it was sometimes easy to forget about her... or want to forget at least. Still, there was one thing Amitiel knew with all his heart... while he had breath in his body, he would not allow his family to be harmed.* Fear not my dove, as long as I am here.... no harm shall befall you or our brood. Good will conquer evil in this.
Cam:*at the first statement she laughed softly* Being stubborn is not a bad trait to have dearest. *she leaned against him* I worry about you Amitiel. That creature frightens me. She's so...so angry and viscious.... I don't want you or what children we may have to come to harm because of me.... Yet I have no illusions about Terra, the only way she'll stop hunting me is if she kills me and I'm not ready to die any time soon. I have too much to do.
Amitiel: You know I speak only truth, Angeni have been granted power to push back those of her kind.... I will not fail. Not with you as my prize. *He continued to hold her, accepted her slight weight as readily and easily as he accepted air into his lungs. In such a short time she had become his flesh, his blood, his lifeforce. Without her he would be lost.*
Cam: Will she keep coming despite that? *she fretted and snuggled closer to him, her body slightly trembling in remembered terror.
Amitiel: *He could not lie to her* It will not stop her coming. It will simply give us an advantage when she does. *He kissed the top of her heaad* Stay with me, if we travel together everywhere we shall always have the advantage of numbers.
Cam: There's nowhere else I'd rather be than with you Amitiel. *she smiled gently at him* Nowhere else.
Amitiel; *Scented the truth and smiled, nuzzling her softly. She was so precious to him, his heart outside of his body. He would be lost without her now he had found her.* So, which direction shall we take?
Cam: Wherever the wind takes us? I don't have a destination in mind. I'm not sure which way is best.
Amitiel: *He stood up straight for a moment and looked around. Taking her words perhaps a little to literally. The wind caught his hair, carrying it with it for a little while before realising it.* East.... East it is then my dear. *His eyes looked in that direction, rivers, fields, and eventually a dessert if he was correct. Of course, they could change at any time. Perhaps head for the moutains, or look for a place to call their own, a home to settle.*
Cam: That sounds good to me. Shall we get going then? She moved away with reluctance and turned to see if he was ready.
Amitiel: Should we not tell someone we are leaving? *He tilted his head and looked down at her. Not wanting anyone to worry about them, even as he wanted to get her away from the chaos that was slowly falling upon everyone here.*
Cam: *she looked thoughtful for a moment* I suppose we should at least tell Maion... Is there anyone else you think we should tell?
Amitiel: *Kissed her* I am sure he will tell the others. *It didn't take too long to find the old sad Stallion, and it broke Amitiel's heart to hear the farewell wishes from him, to see the sadness in his eyes. It was clear he was in pain, a pain Amitiel knew nothing that could heal. Done he stood with a pouch of food for their journey.* Are you ready dove?
Cam: *it pained her to see the kind elder stallion so sad, but she couldn't help him any more than Amitiel good. She bid him farewell and gathered a few herbs that she had been saving since going to learn about them with Nek'mani* I'm ready when you are.
Amitiel: For you. I will always be ready. *He said softly, before spreading his four magnificent wings wide.* Let us see where the wind blows.
Cam: We'll be alright as long as we're together. *she too spread her wings and leapt into the air, turning to call out* Come catch me!
Amitiel: *He didn't need much encouragement as he took to the skies after her. A grin upon his features despite the sadness they were leaving behind.... but how could he not be happy? This was the start of their true adventure together, the bond between them having stood through their first test. He was no fool to believe there would be no more, but it brought him comfort that they were stronger than before. Yes, together they were as strong as a mountain, as adaptable as a river, as mighty as the Ocean. Together, they were invincible. His four wings carried him faster than her two, but he took it with lazily strokes, not wanting to catch her too quickly.*
Cam: *she relished this chance to be in the skies with Amitiel. It was fun to play a game as if they were foals instead of a full grown mare and stallion that had things to worry about. Leaving the herd behind was hard, but it was the beginning of a new adventure and that was always exciting. With a happy whinny, she climbed higher as Amitiel pursued her*

Amitiel: *Kissed her again* Fear not my sweet, I have no intention of leaving you yet. *He could not say 'ever' since that would be a lie, and he could not lie. Still, the sentiment was the same.* I love you. Even after death I shall remain with you. *He flew closer* In your heart. *A soft nuzzle before he spun away.* Now... *he said.* To brighter things and your own herd of children... what shall we have? Ten? Twenty?
Cam: *blinks at the number of children that her mate is suggesting* I suppose ten works well. Five colts and five fillies, though the spirits tend to have a sense of humor about those sort of things. We'll just have to wait and see how many little ones we're blessed with when it happens.
Amitiel: *Was happy that his plan had worked, his words had cheered her up. Good. He would have it no other way. With a nod of his head he looked out at the landscape below them. The land was different colours.* Where shall we head.... green.... *The grassy fields.* ...brown... *the canyons.* ...gold... *the dessert.* Where does your heart desire?
Cam: *she looked at each of the colors as he spoke and thought* Hmmm...well since I came here from the mountains, I know what the canyons can hold... The desert might not be a good idea at this time of day, what with the heat, so I suppose the grassy fields it is!
Amitiel: *He nodded, happy to follow Cao anywhere she desired.* So be it. *He said softly, already plotting his descent to the fields. A thunder of hooves stamped into the ground. he stretched and flexed.* Ah... *He said, a grin upon his face, his eyes already seaking out his little purple flower.* ...this is the life. *She looked gorgeous as ever.*
Cam: *she circled once and landed with a softer gallop of hooves, her wings rustled as she folded them in their resting position and looked around* It's so peaceful here and the grass is so lush. I think this would be a good spot to make our home base while we're exploring. There's even a few apple trees! *she was delighted. It was quite a pretty little piece of paradise they seemed to have found and she was happy to be sharing it with Amitiel*
Amitiel: *Nodded to her, agreeing with each of her words.* Indeed. *He said softly, his head feeling so much better now that he was surrounded by so many lies. Yes, it was far more open out here.* I like it. *He said, even though now his eyes were more on Cao than the enviroment, his thoughts enjoying the view of her among the grass and apple trees.*
Cam: *She pranced towards one of the trees, leaped up and spread her wings to have a little more reach since she was still just shy of even the lowest branch. She caught one shiny red apple in her teeth, yanked it loose, dropped it on the ground and repeated her trick for a second* Amitiel, come taste these, they smell so sweet! *She followed word with deed and began to nibble on one of the two she picked delicately*
Amitiel: *He watched her with fascination, the elegant sway of her body, the feathery flutter of her wings. So beautiful. When she asked him over he went without hesitation. Following her instruction and eating an apple. He licked his lips, the juices covering his lips.* Yum! *He said softly.*
Cam: *she finished her apple and watched him eat with a look of love upon her face. Surely there was not a pair of Soquili as in love as the two of them. At least, this was her thought. She knew there may have been, somewhere else in the Kawani lands, but they weren't here so it was like there was no one else but them. The thought amused her and she gave a soft chuckle*
