Konoha Shinobi Academy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AboutNot much has changed in the last few hundred years and despite previous hardships, the official Academy of Konoha, the Hidden Leaf Village, still stands to this day. All aspiring rookie-nin receive basic training here, as the Academy is the first step towards becoming a ninja. The Academy is responsible for teaching basic weapon skills, as well as the doppelganger and substitution Jutsus.
The goal of the Academy is to familiarize the student with the game system and to allow the student to build some relationships with his or her fellow villagers.LayoutThere are three floors to the Academy: the third floor holds the dojo and library, while the second floor while holding extra classrooms are mostly offices for the principal and Academy teachers. Most rooms - with the exception of the bathrooms - have sliding screen doors. The first floor holds all of the active classrooms as well as the cafeteria. There is a set of lavatories - men and women - on each of the floors.
Because the Academy is built in the traditional Japanese style, the first floor also leads to a courtyard in the back, which is fenced in. The courtyard has a great oak in the center, with a bench beneath its shade, for students whom might prefer to sit outside. Further from that spot are three dummies for target practice.

[b]Description:[/b] The student creates a clone with their chakra. Think of it like molding a sculpture. To successfully create a clone, the student would have to have a total DC of 10. The Student must successfully complete the Jutsu 10 times.

Kawarimi no Jutsu [b]Kawarimi no Jutsu[/b]
[b]Description:[/b] The students will use the pebbles from the Henge lesson to practice the Kawarimi technique. They must successfully complete this ten times. Kawarimi is traditionally introduced by the teachers of Konohagakure no Sato as the most basic and fundamental of a special class of Ninjutsu that involve the manipulation of time and space. It is said understanding Kawarimi is necessary in order to understand the Kuchiyose summoning arts at a later time.
Because every living thing has a definitive amount of chakra even if the difference is so minute, the idea for the Kawarimi thus is to surround both the user and the desired target object with an artificially equalized amount of the same type of chakra (the user's). This allows a temporary "bridge" connection which the user can seize the opportunity to quickly swap their position with the target object. In some ways then, this makes Kawarimi not only a bending of space, but also a bending of logic (reality). However, its allotted "jump" space is quite limited.

Kakuremino no Jutsu [b]Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique)[/b]
[b]Description:[/b] This Jutsu is where one uses a cloak or a piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible. While a student should use a cloak/cloth that fits with their environment, chakra can be used to enhance the effect but it can not make up for using the wrong camouflage. In this exorcise the students will demonstrate their ability to blend in to various surroundings using their cloaks/cloths.

Jibaku Fuda: Kassei [b]Jibaku Fuda: Kassei (Exploding Tag: Activate)[/b]
[b]Description:[/b] The teacher explains the mechanism of how bomb tags work to students and stresses their lethality. The students are then introduced to the Academy dummy exploding tags. These exploding tags explode with 1/10th less the force of real exploding tags, but make the same amount of sound. Students are then given a pack of 10 dummy tags and instructed to explode them. The teacher supervises his students carefully as they do so.

Taijutsu Spar [b]Taijutsu[/b]
[b]Description:[/b] To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up to spar against one another. No one was allowed to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu techniques during the fight. Taijutsu were the only techniques used. The Students kept fighting until 5 HP was left.
To Attack: 1d20 + Attack Melee (Str)
To Dodge: Dodge (No dice roll)
To Grapple: 1d20 + Attack Melee
To Escape Grapple: 1d20 + Escape Artist
To Damage: Random number 1 + Str. to 6 + Str. (Taijutsu skill if applicable)
Students roll an initiative check (1d20 + Dex. mod) to see who goes first.
Ties go in favour to the attacker.
Rolling a "1" is an automatic failure on that roll.
Rolling a "20" is an automatic success. If a 20 is rolled during an attack session, the damage is [b]doubled[/b]. This is called a "critical" hit.

Sakura stepped in front of the classroom door, staring at it. This was the room she was pointed out to, yet it seemed pretty empty, judging from the silence that ensued. Gripping her class materials tighter, Sakurayuki carefully reached her hand out to grip the indent in the door that served as the handle.
'Perhaps I was the first to come?' she thought as she carefully opened the sliding door of the classroom and shut it behind her. Turning around, she was surprised to see that she had indeed, been the first to come, even before the teacher. Picking a desk in the front, she set down her things and looked around, twirling her tessen in her hand. The academy was an old building that went back hundreds of years. This was the place that all the Hokages had grown and learned the basics to become the ninja that they were. Breathing in the musty scent of books, she sighed, brushing her hands on the chalkboard and reveling in the silence that wasn't so unnerving anymore, but actually quite peaceful.
Once she had looked through the classroom, she gently sat down in the seat that she had picked just a moment ago and faced the door, waiting for the next person to come.

Inechi Shironaegi  Hp: 25/27 Cp: 15/15 MHp: 27/27 Shiro yawned lazily as he walked through the halls of the Academy. He was quite tired but at least he was on time today, no thanks to his father. Last night his dad had gotten him to celebrate all of the progress that he'd made in the Academy so far. Even if it was only one cup of nihonshu (sake) it still was enough to make shiro drunk since he was so small. Plus the Inechi brand was powerful stuff. After a short while he reached his class room. As he stood looking at the door he wondered who would be inside as yesterday he'd heard a rumor that a lot parents pulled their children from the Academy because of the war with the Land of Fire Daimyo. Somewhat curious of the rumor he slid the door open to find only one other person inside. Perhaps it was because of the rumor, but a quick glance at the classroom's clock indicated that he was earlier today. His eyes then moved to the one person had come to class before himself, a girl, one with pink hair and black eyes. Though her hair didn't faze him as he was used to having strange hair himself. What caught his attention was her dress, he found it to be quite strange and perhaps his eyes lingered longer than they should have.
"You're new here right?"

Pakku ran into the Academy, Chisana right at his heels, ducking and weaving through the various teachers and students. After a few minutes they finally came upon their classroom, and burst inside. But there wasn't anyone there, just a pink haired girl and his teacher. "Huh? Do we have the day off or something?" He asked between heavy pants as he stood in the doorway. Chisana on the other hand was not remotely bothered, in fact she walk right over to the pink haired girl and sniffed at her leg. More or less she was trying to see if she was a threat, but after a moment barked her approval.

Inuzuka Hoeru Lv 1 ||| Hp 10 ||| Cp 2 ||| MHp 9 ||| It was such a nice day and a very exciting one at that, at least in the mind of this 11 year old girl. Finally the day had come for her to start her journey in the shinobi world. It was time for the Academy. The thought of studying hard bothered the young girl for she had a hard time staying in one spot but well she knew she had to do it in order to become a gennin. Sacrifices had to be made.Her parents of course wanted this of her. Her clan were known for their skills so it was only natural she would want to follow the same path.They had even already paid for all the supplies she would eventually need when reaching certain lessons. Throwing the doors open her face would beam out to anyone in the classroom, a huge smile on her face. "Hey everyone!" Hoeru didnt know basically anyone there but that didnt stop her from being friendly. Letting the doors close behind her to took the liberty of taking a seat somewhere, and once she was sitting down she swung her legs while keeping an eye glancing out of the window wondering when her companion would come to join her. He had decided to wonder off earlier but he knew how to find her so she was sure he wouldn't take long.

Pretty soon, a couple people came filing into the room, and Sakurayuki stopped staring at the wood's patterns on the desk to look at the infinitely more intresting group that had come in.
The first was a boy with white hair and (could you believe it?) red eyes. She had been startled at the fact that maybe he was an Uchiha member that she hadn't known until now, but then with closer scrutiny, realized that the eye color was natural, without the customary tomoes defining the Sharingan. He was eyeing her dress, it seemed, and she had to stifle a laugh. Normally, most of the attention would have gone to her hair, but it seemed he wasn't interested. the village had some crazy hair colors, so she guessed it didn't matter to him as much. While the dress did seem a bit impractical in ninja life, it had many places to hide small things, such as the tessen she put away as soon as she had heard someone come in. It was actually a modified kimono mixed with some of the western style which made it all the stranger, but it was great when blending in with the darkenss since the dress didn't rustle around because of the smooth texture. But... they didn't need to know that quite yet, she supposed. When he extended his greeting, she answered back, smiling.
"That would be correct. My name is Sakurayuki, but you can call me Sakura or Yuki for short. And you are..?" She asked trailing off.
She was about to hear his response when Sakura saw a dog walk up to her and sniff her leg. She relaxed as the dog barked, wagging it's tail happily. The owner had the typical red fang marks of the Inuzuka, meaning this had to be his nin-dog. Glancing at the red bandanna, she raised an eyebrow at the fashon statement, but wisely kept to herself.
"Would you mind letting me pet you?" she asked the dog directly, meaning to direct the question to the owner. These dogs seemed friendly, but she knew it couldn't hurt to ask first, although she hoped he would say yes. She loved animals, and planned on getting a pet or a summons to be with. She then turned expectantly at the white haired boy, wanting to hear his response before he had been interrupted.
Another came in a bit later, and as she bounded into the classroom with a loud greeting, she noticed it was a girl with white hair and reddish eyes. She also had the typical Inuzuka markings on her face, and it looked as though the two knew each other, based on their actions. 'Interesting..' she thought. Smiling, she silently sent her greeting, and watched her sit down in the seats. When she passed by, she smelled of a strange mixture of dog, but not so quite. That threw her off a little, but then forgot about it and attributed the "mix-up" to it being her mistake. The dog scent was not matched by her companion however, as she came alone. She wondered why, but figured there was a good reason behind it and decided not to pry.

And you are..?" he heard the girl reply before the others showed up. I wonder what her first name is? he thought mistakenly as Sakurayuki had actually omitted her family name and not her first name. After Sakurayuki he took note of all the other people. It didn't take him long to figure that he didn't know any of them. So I guess the rumors were sort of true, most of the other kids are gone. Since so many more kids had shown up he decided to take his own seat, which happened to be right next to Sakurayuki. It didn't have much to do with her as that's where he had been sitting for the past few classes now and he wasn't about to change his own seat since he liked being up front.
"Morning Yuki-chan."he said with little formality, mostly due to his upbringing. "I'm Inechi Shironaegi, nice to meet you." he said with a smile. After which he looked away to yawn a little bit, still some what sleepy. Maybe I'll be able to sleep today since I'm a little ahead of the rest of the class.

Barking again Chisana hopped slightly, putting her front paws on the girl's thigh, indicating she would love to be petted. "I'm sorry, her name's Chisana, and she tends to get to know people rather easily haha." Pakku said with a grin as he took his seat. "As for me I'm Pakku, soon-to-be Ninja Master." Pakku added after he sat down. Looking around at everyone Pakku seriously wondered where the teacher was, since his hopes of a day off was shattered. "So does anyone know where the teacher is?" He asked as he looked over the white haired boy, the pink haired girl, and his cousin.

"Nice to meet you too, Inechi-san." Sakura nodded at him while trying to commit the name to memory. He was going to be her classmate after all. The boy seemed to turn around and yawn, seeming sleepy with his eyes half-closed. She wondered if it was because it was his first day, or because it was just chronic.
She took the time to glance around while stroking the soft fur of the dog, which she had learned was named Chinsana.
"She really loves to be petted, doesn't she?" Yuki said as she scratched it behind the ears. Turning to him, she listened as he spoke, and memorized his name as well.
"So does anyone know where the teacher is?" Pakku said, glancing around.
"Hmm, I'm very sorry. I don't know, but I'm sure our sensei will come soon. After all, there's still..." she glanced at the clock quickly, "... around 5 minutes until class starts. I'm sure everyone will come in soon, our sensei included." Surely their sensei wouldn't be that irresponsible and be late for class now, right?

 The sun was slowly rising in the sky as Keiji Amaya quickly walked up to the front of the school, or at least as quickly as you can when you're less that four feet tall. She was nervous about her first day and potentially being late, but she also didn't want to panic. Once she was inside the school, the young girl became overwhelmed by the people and all the different halls and doors. Her father had told her how to get to her room, but her father was also terrible at directions.
However, it didn't take long for Amaya to find the correct room. The girl gently slid the door open and slipped inside to find numerous people already in the room. Maybe she had been late after all. Her eyes scanned quickly for the teacher, but everyone looked to be in the class and not teaching it. Unfortunately, she hadn't determined that before her shyness bit her tongue. Then again, this seemed like a fairly energetic bunch, so they didn't need any more. With a polite nod, the small girl tried to slip by the group and move towards a desk.
As she did, Amaya did a quick scan of the group. There was a girl wearing a black dress with pink hair. Then she noted the two Inozukas. She couldn't believe the odds of having more than one in her class. Looking down to the ground, she saw a young dog. Amaya has been begging her father for a pet, so there was a slight touch of envy in her eyes. Then again, it wouldn't be practical to have a pet with four young brothers. Then there was one other boy whose hair was white but his eyes were a striking red, though it was obvious to her that was his natural color and not a special ability.
Amaya was astounded at the diversity of their small group. Silently she couldn't help but wonder what brought them all to the academy, what they wanted to do as a shinobi, and why they were all so tall.

Uchiha Sakurayuki Hp: 8 Cp: 10 MHp: 10 Sakura saw another girl walk into the room, timidly nodding at everyone before trying to slip away into the corner of the classroom behind everyone. 'Well we can't have that happening,' she thought as Yuki nodded back as a reply. Waving to the new girl, she motioned to come sit down next to her, while encouraging her classmate Pakku to do the same behind her. The white haired girl who still hadn't said her name had sat down further away from the bunch, so she called out in hopes that she would come and sit nearer to everyone else. During the introductions to everyone, the Uchiha member got lost in her thoughts. 'Normally there would have been a lot more people... I suppose the rumors are true then,' Sakurayuki thought as she looked around the empty seats in the rest of the academy. 'Well, at least we'll get individual intensive training sessions. I wonder if we'll get sent to the war once we become Genin? That's why most of the Uchiha members are all away all the time on duty or training... I wonder if everyone realizes that fact... I wouldn't be surprised if our sensei tried to convince us to give up on being a ninja for our own good. But...' she trailed off as the noise around her focused her attention to the talking again.

 Amaya froze momentarily as the pink haired girl motioned for her to come sit next to her. Mission sneak into the back corner of the room where no one can be bothered by my presence was a disappointing failure. Then again, it would probably be best for her to get to know her classmates. After all, they were all going to be training together for now and there was possibility that she could end up on a team with some of them after graduation.
It only took a fraction of a second for everything to flash through the small girl's mind as she smiled at the girl and took the seat she was offered. At least there was someone who was willing to act as a bit of a catalyst in bringing the group together. Amaya definitely wasn't the person to. Without having to pull the chair back, the child slid into her newly appointed seat; knees touching, hands on the sides of her legs, and head slightly tilted down.
Amaya forgot her manners for a moment and she had the urge to hit herself over the head once she realized it. Using her feet as a pivot, she turned her shoulders and knees towards the girl with the pink hear. "My name is Kieji Amaya." she said somewhat quietly, but she hoped it was loud enough for others to hear so she wouldn't have to keep introducing herself. Then again, she had probably missed everyone's introductions already, so it was probably an inevitable part of her day to come. "Thank you for offering me a seat. What is your name?" Amaya had developed a sense of formality after having to deal with customers all the time. To top it off, her parents always insisted on being referred to in formal voice.
